"What I plan on doing with it is taking it for myself." Marinsa crossed her arms, staring at both Makkura and Enshou, "If there's one thing that I hate, most of all, its being the unwanted raven that my parents threw away because she didn't believe their ave superiority bullshit."
"Whooooaaah... Marina, isn't that a little harsh... I mean, aren't these still your folks~?" Eleris let her hair fall back over the back of the couch, slouched back lazily. The still slime girl Miriam couldn't properly figure out how anyone could detest their parents so much... clearly, she had to have some soft spo-
"They are nothing to me. They're just a pair of avian superiorist thugs who cast me out for speaking my mind. The only reason I always have money is because they've got an almost endless supply to keep me here. Which honestly, is fine; it keeps me away from them." Oooookay... Miriam and Eleirs looked at each other. That was the first time they'd heard that story, that was for sure. Suddenly, there was a light chime as the doorbell was rung. It resonated through the house for a moment before stopping, leaving Eleris and Miriam wondering who it was while they ate their breakfast.
"I'll get it, hold on... its probably someone who got one of my fliers." Marina walked out of the kitchen, and opened the door... and standing there was a girl with bright red hair, an audacious outfit, and eyes with almost flame-like irises. In short, the school troublemaker was standing on her door step, holding one of her fliers.
"Yo, Marina. Dragon, eh... sounds like fun. How much are you pay... wow, is that fucking Technoman in here? How many people you got in on this?" Marina crossed her arms; she and the flame girl had never seen eye to eye after having her notes burnt to ash more than once. However, she couldn't deny that she was one of the most magically gifted people at school, for a fact.
"I assure you, more than your parents would make in several years." Lucii's smile grew into a grin.
"Mind if I come in, then?" Marina twitched slightly; she wasn't keen on the idea of having her house burn down, but....
"Set anything on fire and you're dead, bitch." Marina's voice was harsh and flat. Lucii didn't even seem to take notice as she walked past her into her house, whistling at the high ceiling.
"Right, right... so, are these the other chumps you signed up? No offense, Technobro~" Lucii recognized Eleris and Sasha pretty quickly, but...
"... the hell? Who's the living gelatin?"
"That's Miri, Lucii, dontcha recognize her?" Eleris spoke up before taking another mouthful of eggs. Lucii walked around the couch once, bending over to look Miriam in the eyes... yep, that was Miri, for sure. Same face and everything. The slime girl tried to back away from her... her body gave off so much heat that it was almost painful for her in that state.
"Daaaaamn... the shrimpy demon girl has some neat tricks.".... Clearly, this was someone none of them were particularly fond of... while they didn't really hate her, she wasn't a friend, and they all knew how unstable she could be. Marina just had to put up with the pyromaniac in her house for a while.

Marina's House Kitchen
Enshou sighed, not very fond of Marina's attitude about her parents. However, he had encountered poor parents before so it wasn't difficult to believe this girl's parents were as she said. Therefore, he decided to say nothing of it and leave the topic alone. He also noticed that the girls didn't exactly have a...good relationship with this "Lucii". But that wasn't his business and he left that alone too.
However, there was a misconception he had to fix. The black and white armored man held up a hand and spoke in an apologetic tone.
"Ah, I'm afraid that's a bit of a misconception, Marina. Makkura and I are not here to help you fight this dragon. We are actually here for Koletis." Enshou turned to look at his fellow Geistuassage.
"The Council is aware that you've given birth to a new Geistaussage without anyone's permission. That is a rather irresponsible and serious crime..."
Sasha got up from her seat, moving to stand in front of Koletis as if shielding him from Enshou. She believed his reasoning for turning her into one of them was justifiable during the situation. It also saved her life as well as the lives of her friends. She couldn't let Koletis get in trouble for that.
Enshou raised an eyebrow at Sasha's interference, but made no hostile movements.
"Grand Divide was being torn apart by the Ileris. Their mechs were all over the place killing everyone they could get their hands on. If Koletis hadn't turned me into a Geistaussage, we would have all died! He did it to save us! How is that a crime?!"
She began unconsciously raising her voice, her feelings from everything that had happened recently spilling out. All those people she saw die. How Eleris and Miriam might have died. How she saw Koletis bravely attempt to fight the Ileris and be seriously injured in the process.
...How she was severely beaten by one of the drones. The pain she felt from his abuse. All of it came to a boil as Sasha pointed at Enshou.
"Koletis was there trying to save lives! But where were you?! Thousands of people died and you never showed up!! You're TECHNOMAN!! You're supposed to be there to help people! Not punish someone who disobeyed some stupid rules in order to save people!! What's WRONG with you?!"
Enshou silently narrowed his eyes at her, staring silently.
...She was completely right. He and Makkura were sent here to arrest Koletis and bring him back to the Geistfestung. But he did what he did to save people. To protect them. Wasn't that what the Geistaussages were meant to do? Punishing Koletis for such a thing would go against everything they stood for.
And this girl...Sasha. She was defending this mysterious armored man, one who she barely knew. She was yelling at him someone who had a good reputation and was well-respected by the people of Kyril. He could tell that she was emotionally stressed, which made sense, but he could also see she had a strong heart.
Perhaps Koletis had chosen a suitable host after all.
He sighed and smiled under his helmet, placing a hand on Sasha's shoulder. She flinched at this, having expected the armored man to strike her.
"You are correct. What Koletis did was completely justified and for the greater good. He should not be penalized for trying to save lives, even if he broke a few...minor laws. I'll leave him be. You will require training after all."
The teenager's violet eyes widened. She hadn't expected Enshou to respond so well to her yelling at him, or even imagined that he'd actually support Koletis training her.

Marina's House ~ Kitchen
Koletis wasn't surprised Enshou and Makkura had been sent to arrest him. Creating a brand new Geistaussage without anyone's permission, hell without even TALKING to anyone about it, was a rather serious crime. The Council had demoted, imprisoned, and even stripped Geistaussages of their power for doing this. However, it was completely necessary in his eyes. If he hadn't transformed one of them they might have all been killed by the biodrones. Or Sasha at the very least would have, since she had been severely injured by one. Koletis was unable to destroy the Ileris and save Grand Divide, so at the very least he had to save these young ones.
However, he was incredibly surprised by Sasha's defense of him. He could have easily convinced Enshou to hold off on arresting him, especially since they were old friends. But this was far more interesting and had a far better result then he could have possibly imagined.
The least Koletis could do was convince his friend to assist Marina with the dragon. She was taking care of them right now after all.
"Oh come on, Enshou. I think you and little Makkura here should help with the dragon. It has been causing trouble for Malen after all, so we'd still be helping people right?"
Makkura looked at Koletis for a moment, thinking about this. If that dragon was hurting people...then they definitley needed to stop it. Leaving something like that alone wasn't right. She looked back towards Enshou and smiled at him.
"I agree with Koletis. It's our job to help people, right? If this dragon's been hurting others, then it needs to be stopped."

Living Room
Lucii grinned, falling back onto the couch beside Miriam; the girl's messy and splayed out ponytail falling back with it. Miriam almost jumped, returning to her normal form out of fear that she might start to boil just from being around the flame girl.
"Haha, welcome back to the world of vertebrates, little Miriam. And creepy skull mask chick has a point... as much of a total prude as she comes off as, she always does right by people. You don't have ta worry... bout what again?"
"Me getting a shard of Eternity." Marina spoke flatly. Lucii whistled, an grin forming on her upside down face as she leaned back over the couch.
"And what does our little junior crow plan on doing with that of all things, hmmmm?"
"...Lucii, It never ceases to amaze me that you're actually our senior." Eleris and Miriam both nodded in succession... all three of them were juniors, going on seniors. Lucii had just, by some profound act of providence and divine grace, gotten into the college level courses in Malen Universal.
"Anyways, was just dropping by to say I'm in and shit, hope you don't mind~" Marina simply nodded; regardless what she thought of the pyromaniac, she was a damned powerful ally to have in this.

Marina's House Living Room
Sasha looked towards Lucii, her mind finally acknowledging her presence. She wasn't very fond of her. At all, actually. She found her annoying, rude, and obnoxious. But she didn't do anything to offend her at this time so she decided to keep any rude comments to herself. The goth teen turned to Koletis.
"Koletis...do you think we have any time for you to teach me a bit? I know it's only been a few hours since we got here but I feel a lot better now. I think I can afford you teaching me something."
Enshou's eyes widened. "Surely you do not intend to fight the dragon alongside us..."
"Of course I do! I have these powers, so I might as well put them to good use! Like the masked girl said, the dragon's been hurting people. I'm not going to just sit around here while you guys go off to fight it."
The armored man looked at Koletis. Sasha was his pupil, so it was his responsibility to prevent her from doing such foolish things. However, he had not seen her Geistaussage form himself and was, therefore, unaware of how weak or strong she was. If Koletis decided she could fight, he wouldn't argue.

Koletis shrugged at Sasha. "That all depends on when you all plan to go confront that dragon." He looked towards the ave. "Marina, when are they all going?"
Makkura noticed Koletis wasn't including himself when talking about the dragon. He wasn't planning on coming along?
"Wait...Koletis, you're not coming?"
The blue and purple Geistaussage looked at his cracked and dented armor, as well as his missing arm. He shook his head and spoke with regret. "I'm afraid not. I took quite a bit of damage in Grand Divide and I have yet to heal enough. I would only be a burden at this time."
The female Reaper looked at him sadly, but nodded in understanding.

Listening in on the conversation was a mysterious woman, leaning against the back wall of the house. She wore a simple olive battle gown over a tight black shirt. She wore gray slacks and tough boots for traversing any terrain. More notably, she wore a black and white mask, with flowing white streaks over the right black half, and a tear drop under the left eye. She had dark skin and one arm, and a bright red cat eye shined through the left eye hole of her mask, while her right eye was dim, and blind. She had calmed herself to the point where it was as if she was one with the wall. The posters the ave sent out had caught her attention. She had thought it was just some hoax, but her curiosity proved otherwise. This immature girl wanted the shard? She questioned whether or not she should interfere, or not. However, as she thought to herself, she dropped her guard ever so slightly.

Living Room
"Hey Marina, someone's leaning on your house." Lucii spoke up nonchalantly, interrupting any conversations in the room.
"The hell?" Marina looked at the girl with questioning eyes, "How the hell do you-?"
"I'm fire... Marina, you know I'm as damn close as a person can get to being a fire elemental without being a mindless thing. Sensing someone's body heat is beyond simple." Eleris nodded, agreeing with the girl.... She remembered years back, when Lucii's control over fire had been... well, absolutely dangerous. Everyone in school back then knew the story, and pitied her for it. There had been times where she'd caught fire, panicked, and blazed even brighter. It had been the first year of middle school that Eleris, Miriam, and Sasha had witnessed such a thing. Back then... they had pitied her. It was true. But now, she was almost intolerable. Sometimes, it made Eleris wonder what she wanted out of life; if she was trying to get people to hate her.... well, who knew? Maybe she was.
"Well, what the hell then!? Someone's freaking eavesdropping on us?"
"Back door, crow girl." Marina glared at Lucii, before stomping her way to the back door, and looking around, before spotting the strange girl resting on the side of the house.
"What the hell?! Were you seriously eavesdropping?" Marina didn't know who this person was, but she was considering calling the police already; the girl looked damn shady.

However what Marina had shouted at was an afterimage as the opening of the backdoor had startled the masked woman. She stopped when Marina had asked her a direct question, and stepped out from behind the blindspot created by the door. "Y-yes. I was eavesdropping. I had read your fliers, and... well, after watching so many odd people enter your house, I was curious." She spoke honestly, at least to an extent. Still, it would be hard to gain her trust with a mask. She was hesitant to remove it, though. She seemed to wear it for a personal reason. If Marina looked closely she could see that there were burn scars on the right side of her neck leading up to her face behind the mask. .

Enshou stood silently with his arms crossed, waiting for the eavesdropping visitor to either leave or come inside. He was aware of some mind of presence earlier, but felt it presented no threat and had declined to say anything. On top of that, he was already occupied with Sasha and Koletis.
Sasha, meanwhile, poked her head out of the door and spotted the masked woman. She heard how Marina spoke to her and it was obvious she didn't know her. They were going to face a dragon though, so more help was definitely welcomed in this case.
"So...what is it with the masked women? We got Skull-Mask in there and now we got this chick."

"W-well..." the masked aren woman stammered. "I can't speak for your other guest, but I wear this mask for personal reasons, and not just to conceal my identity." For a one armed woman, she was considerably armed. Hanging from her belt was both an aren dagger and a jin tachi. "I wear this mask in homage to... well, a number of things, actually."

Marina just looked at the newcomer, and sighed. This girl... she was beating around the bush a bit too much for her tastes.
"Okay, then. If you came here after reading my fliers, does that mean that you want to help us...?" Marina left that up in the air at the end, by the sound of her voice. She knew Lucii, Sasha, and Makkura were in so far, as well as Enshou. Eleris had refused and Miriam... well, she was kinda weak.
"Yooo, Marina, I'm heading out with Miriam." Eleris stood up, along with Miriam; the pair had cleared their plates... Miriam looked paler than usual, and she was in her normal form again, "Miri's not feeling too good now, so I gotta take her home."
"Yeah, that's fine. Later guys." Lucii waved them out the door, eliciting a small frown from Eleris as she exited the front door with Miriam. Marina found herself frowning a little as well; that girl had a habit of worrying the people around her pretty badly...
"I gotta wonder why that kid is so sick all the time... aren't demons usual healthy? There are so few diseases that even affect those guys... tch, it would suck if she kicked the bucket. She's a sweet kid." Wait, what? Genuine niceness from Lucii, of all people? Marina almost double-taked at the spectacle.

Koletis silently sat in his seat, waiting for the newcomer to enter. Unless she was here to cause problems. If that were the case, he would fight her regardless of his condition.
Makkura raised an eyebrow at Sasha. Apparently whoever was out there was also wearing a mask. It couldn't have been another Reaper since she would have felt their presence. It also didn't seem like the person came here to cause problems, although it was still a bit early to know for sure.
The female Reaper folded her arms and simply watched the doorway, waiting for the woman to come in.

"Yes, I want to help you," The masked woman nodded. "Or, at the very least, I don't want anyone to be injured by a dragon." She entered Marina's house with a bow, and walked into the living room. She glanced around at everyone else in the room. She looked over at Makkura, somewhat puzzled. She didn't feel like anything she had ever been around before. Neither were the men in armor, but they felt different from Makkura as well. The girl named Sasha felt like a human, but also felt like the armored men. It was curious. "I just want to make sure, you do know what it is you are after, right? The crystal, I mean."

Marina smiled a bit; the question wasn't entirely unexpected, but then again...
"... I know enough, yeah. What's it to you?" There was something about the tone of her voice that bothered Marina a little, but... "... well, it doesn't really matter to me as long as you'll help." The ave girl rustled her feathers as she turned around, walking back into her living room, gesturing with one of her wings to follow her.
"So... what's your name?" Somehow, she doubted someone wearing a mask would tell her her name, but hell, it had worked with Makkura, so why not give it a shot?
Lucii couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at the newcomer... was the girl missing an arm? That was an odd thing in this day and age. Exceptionally so, infact. But her own questions could wait... she was curious as to what this girl had to say about herself.
Marina sat down in her own chair, and glanced back at the masked girl, before looking at the others, "I... guess you guys should introduce yourselves?"
