As Omega reached out to slash at Adonis, it found its hand stopping short as if it was held back. A bloody tentacle was wrapped around its arm, and soon Omega found itself ensnared by a dozen bloody tentacles as Zeina struggled to hold Omega back. Even in her weakened state, she still slowed Omega down, and it was all the time Adonis needed to switch his hand back out and turn on the massive biodrone. Adonis struck Omega in its shark-like head with a devastating right hook, the sheer impact scrambling Omega's equilibrium. From there, Adonis rained explosive punches down on Omega, pummeling its head and torso with punches faster than human eyes could follow. The rigidity of its silvrite armor served against it as it did nothing to dampen the kinetic force behind each punch. What damage was made visible was nothing compared to the internal damage caused by Adonis' onslaught.

-Omega-
As Adonis rained punches down on Omega, he managed to shatter one of its mechanical eyes by sheer luck. The damage was mounting, as the creature tugged on its restraints, dragging Zeina as it did so. It was mindless, containing no rage, no hatred, no sort of happiness or sorrow. It was a machine.
One of the strongest ones to ever be constructed on Kyril, but a machine. However, its remaining eyes were far from human. It began to lock onto Adonis' hands, balled into fists, as they moved, each blow giving it more time to accomplish its next move, as it tracked each punch's trajectory.
As soon as it had a lock on one of Adonis' hands, its own head moved, far too fluidly for anything that Adonis would have beaten on so severely. Even as battered as this monstrosity was, even if it may eventually be defeated by these abominations of science and necromancy, it would still try to kill them as long as it functioned.
The heated teeth of Omega found their white hot edges sinking into Adonis' wrist as its head narrowly dodged another incoming punch, as the beast took a step forward. Adonis' own armor wouldn't protect him against the super heated vice of Omega's mouth, and Zeina couldn't halt his advance. Adonis howled in rage, his free fist pounding into Omega's head over and over, forcing it lower and lower, even as it kept trying to rise. Its teeth tore further and further into Adonis's armor as it fell, as it took its punishment. It didn't care, as long as it fought back. In its mind, if it could disable his hands, it could win. It didn't know it had no chance; the concept of failure was foreign to it.
"You a-- a hi--erance. Y-- a-e-" Its voice module was malfunctioning now. This was truly a wounded beast.
The kind that fights the hardest.
-???-
"That thing is a menace. How on earth could it be beating Omega!?"
"The combination of necromancy and Devoidian cybernetics is a powerful one, it seems. It has a will that Omega lacks... particularly... this one is very angry."
"But that shouldn't matter, Omega has the best of everything! There's more money poured into that one drone than a good chunk of the DKS."
"There is that, certainly. But-"
"Ssh. I want to watch this. Just how far can Omega go? This is part of the reason we're even watching this, aside from visual documentation."
"Ha, well, you are right there... watching this live is quite the thrill, isn't it?"
"... Indeed."

Adonis roared out not in pain, but in sheer fury as Omega sunk its teeth down on Adonis's wrist. It was eating his hand, his true left hand. His hand. How dare it try to eat his hand. That hand belonged to no one but Adonis. It was hard for Zeina to imagine the undead aren becoming anymore aggressive. That was when she realized she hadn't seen anything yet. Adonis' left arm and hand began to change. The bones shifted, armor receded, and Adonis' hand split in half as a bony blade drove deep down into Omega's throat before fanning out into several long prongs, tearing Omega's throat and neck apart from the inside out. As Adonis did this, the armor on his back opened up, and he roared as two long, bony, scythe-tipped arms sprouted from his back. By this point, Zeina let go of Omega, terrified of what she bore witness to. Adonis then lifted Omega swiftly up by the branching bony blade lodged in its throat and slammed it against the tunnel wall, causing more and more damage to its neck from the inside. The bones of his left arm continued to lengthen and thicken, before Adonis forced Omega to the ground by the blades in its neck.
"Ffffilthy drone of D-D-Devoid, your worst nightmare dessscends upon you now." Adonis kicked Omega's jaw shut, dislocating its jaw and breaking the bony blade off in its mouth and neck. The bones and muscles of his left hand quickly grew back, and the undead aren began a new kind of assault. He attacked Omega with all four arms in tandem beating and slicing away at the bio-drone with a kind of swift and brutal frenzy only rarely seen on the floating continent.

-Omega-
Omega took a moment to recover its senses from the beating, but once Adonis broken the bone, the monster struck back. Just as the undead aren began to lay into the bio-drone, he was stopped, abruptly. Both of the extra appendages Adonis had grown found themselves restrained by the drone's powerful hands as its jaw seems to meld back into place.
Adonis's brutal frenzy found itself being pushed back by Omega's powerful charge, as the large bio drone picked itself up, and began to use everything it had to push Adonis back. Its strength, its bulk, all of it dedicated to attempting to dominate Adonis. The drone shook its head to the side, spitting out the bones that Adonis had broken off inside of it, before it viciously slamming its own slanted head down on Adonis' helmet, even as he was viciously beaten.
If Adonis was an enraged berserker, Omega was a sturdy juggernaut. Even as electricity surged through the battered and damaged frame, the bio-drone never faltered, and its lack of the ability to feel pain allowed it to carry on, even through the worst of Adonis' assault.

"...I can't decide which of them is more impressive at this point, but... am I the only one who heard that?"
"No... and it sounds familiar. I'm already running an audio search for it. Its distorted, but... ah. Here it is."
In the center of the figures, a picture of a battle between a group of androids and a large, muscular aren took place, as he defeated their commander, only to be savagely mauled by the remaining androids. It had been one of the many documented conflicts during the Delfinus genocide, and they had shots of it from every angle. Not only did he utter roughly the same line, but...
"... After those androids left, we captured that masked figure on camera as well, didn't we?"
"Indeed. From the audio analysis, we can assume he's the aren's necromancer, and more than likely the one who's working with Kross."
"So what are we going to do about it?"
"For now, nothing. We don't know enough to move on them. All we can do is gather this visual analysis. With any luck, the necromancer himself will show up."

Adonis' frenzy would not be halted for long, as headbutted Omega back before jumping up with Omega and forcing it back to the ground. As Omega held tightly to his bony arms, Adonis grabbed Omega's, sinking his vice grip into Omega's tricep and deltoid. He planted his foot down on Omega's chest before abruptly righting himself and ripping Omega's arms out of their sockets. He shook the dismembered appendages off his scythe-arms, and proceeded to pound, stab, and slash Omega with everything he had. Every time Adonis chipped his bony blades, the bone reformed just as sharp as before, and every punch and slam of Adonis' fist shook the very tunnel they fought in. Every time Omega's arms tried to reform, he cut them away before they could fully take shape. Adonis didn't want Omega to fight back. He never wanted a fair or honorable fight in the first place. What honor was there in fighting a creature such as this? No. Adonis wanted one thing and one thing only; to beat this regenerating monstrosity until it ceased to be. To unleash the full extent of his boundless wrath. And with that, a second set of bony arms sprouted from Adonis's back to intensify his furious assault on the helpless bio-drone.

-Omega vs. Adonis-
There was no getting out of it anymore. Adonis had beaten the drone, and it could no longer fulfill its objectives. Not with the level of damage it had sustained. Its only logical course of action? Attempt to take the cybernetic undead with him. Almost without warning, Omega fired its plasma cannon at full-charge... straight through its own helmet. In essence, its head was designed around the artillery grade weapon, so it was of little consequence. It aimed straight up... whether or not Adonis took the shot or not didn't matter; it had a different plan in mind.
Adonis could see the quick spike in temperature, knowing full well what it meant. he grabbed Omega by the throat, and forced its head and neck down. The stream of plasma illuminated the tunnel as it swept across the top of the tunnel. The armor on his arms glowed red from being so close, and his powerful fingers began to sink into it neck as he began to push with all his might. He was sick of this thing and he was going to tear its head off.
Unfortunately, Omega had done what it intended. A horrible cracking sound began to fill the sewer as the tunnel began to cave in, the ceiling beginning to collapse in bits and pieces. With a might push itself, the drone aim upwards again, locking its mechanical spine in place; it was bringing the ceiling down, possibly more. Locking its spine would be its last mistake. Without any way to mitigate an impact, Adonis spread his arms and snapped them forward on two separate points, breaking the joints in Omega's neck. Adonis refused give it any moment to recover, and yanked Omega's head from its broken neck. With no appropriate output left for the massive amount of power the bio-drone's generator was giving off, it began to violently overload. Its body thrashed violently, as rays of light began to stream out from cracks in its armor. Thanatos Omega... was about to explode.
Violently.
Zeina began to crawl away as Omega glowed brighter and brighter. Her movement snapped Adonis out of his triumphant high, bringing him back to reality. He would not allow it to take them with it. Especially her. He lifted Omega up and boosted down the tunnel pushing his cybernetic body as fast as it would go before throwing Omega with every ounce of strength in his mighty body. Omega's body tumbled across the curvature of the tunnel like a bobsled off its tracks, speeding across the walls before turning out of sight. A deafening blast wave followed them down the tunnel, as the explosion soon followed, the ground, the tunnel, everything collapsing along with it. Adonis had to take Zeina and run. There was no way around it. If he didn't get her out of there, not even their armor would protect them from such a blast.
When Adonis turned to run after Zeina he found that she had already ran away. Adonis had proved to be the mightier monster, and it terrified her. It made Adonis ache with shame. ...And frustration. He ran down the tunnel at a speed far beyond his aren origins, but not with snatching Omega's severed head before escaping. He slowed down only when the collapse of the tunnel had ended. Adonis held Omega's head by the broken joint left from its neck, before throwing it down into sewage, and proceeding to stomp it over and over and over again. He roared furiously as he stomped its head, his heart once more filled with rage of another nature. He proved to be the mightier monster, and it sickened him. As Adonis stomped, the head began to dissolve into a silvery liquid, which began to slither away through the cracks in the sewer floor and wall... denying him even the satisfaction of a defeated opponent to stomp on. His object of frustration liquified, he roared out again, as if screaming at it to never show itself before him again, stomping on it as it slithered away. However, Adonis soon found himself unable to bring his foot down again, as a hand rose out of Adonis' shadow, and scooped up a sample of the silvery liquid.
"What a good boy you've been, Adonis," spoke that unmistakable slimy voice. "I always knew you were the right specimen, ever since you ruined that doll of a prototype." Boa rose completely from the darkness, and deposited the silvery sample in a transparent bag, before hiding it away in the blackness of his shadowy cloak.
"Zeeeeeeinaaaaa. You can come out now." Zeina slowly crawled into sight from out a tube, crying as Boa summoned her. "You were doing well early on, but then you just sort of... gave up." It was then that Boa swiftly backhanded Zeina, knocking her to the ground. Adonis raised his fist to strike Boa, but it never swung, halted against his will.
"Seriously, what am I to do with you, Zeina? Well, at the very least you feasted on its neck. I should be able to extract some more samples for him to look at. Now, Zeina, purge your contents." Zeina face began to twist in an awful grimace as her body began to react against her will. She tried so hard to resist against it, but she found herself on her knees as her stomach began to lurch. Boa produced a glass jar in front of her face, and she vomited everything she ate, including the silvery remains of Omega's muscles and blood. He closed the jar before tucking it too under his shadowy cloak. Unbeknownst to Boa and Adonis, something microscopic had made its way onto Adonis' shoulder. A single nanite from Omega. Its impossibly tiny eye stared at Boa, focusing.
"Well, you're both very dirty, but your armor seems good enough to repair itself. And since you've been such a big helper, Adonis, I'll let you play outside for a while. Try not to have too much fun. Oh and by the way, you missed a spot." Boa pointed at Adonis' shoulder as if it was an afterthought, and the tiniest fleck could be seen breaking off and floating away in a snowflake too cold for liquid nitrogen. It was then that Boa reared his head back, and plunged it into his torso, disappearing in a shrinking spiral of black flames and vanishing with a wisp.
-???-
"Well now, that was fortunate. The image saved, yes?"
"Black cloak and a mask... definitely the same man. But how did he know?"
"He didn't. No magic on the face of Kyril could have detected a single nanite like that, and not even an aren's eyes can discern individual cells like that. It was likely habitual."
"Unfortunate, but we got enough. How much of Omega survived?"
"Ten percent, maybe slightly more. Unfortunately, that means its regeneration time is going to be significant. In fact, the time frame for it is so broad we can't say. Months? Years? Its unknown. And this is assuming the nanite's programming even does what its supposed to."
"He spoke about getting the samples back to someone... Kross."
"Its likely."
"Is the new information compiled now?"
"Yes. Shame we can't track them to Kross' base of operations, though."
"Quite. I'd also like to know more about this masked necromancer, but... all we have is a distinct appearance to go off of."
"Yes, its not much, but we can confirm that this man is working in the shadows against Devoid. The question is, what are we going to do about it?"
"Nothing. Yet."
A smile appeared on the lips of the man at the head of the table.
"Yet."
