After recovering from the unpleasant nausea of the teleportation, Chingo looked around to confirm his surroundings.
"It's Jardin del Vicio. We're... actually here." said Chingo
Looking at all the buildings, Chingo's nausea returned a bit. The nausea this time wasn't caused by the after effect of the teleportation, nor was it caused by the fact that they were standing next to a dumpster. No, the city in general is what induced this feeling.
To him, all the casinos, strip clubs, whore houses and pollution were the epitome of human corruption. These shrines to decadence and hedonism had made Chingo sick to his stomach for that one moment.
"Man, I never thought it was possible, but this place actually got WORSE." Chingo thought secretly to himself.
Putting his personal impressions aside, he regains focus and turns to Raiga.
"So what's our next move?"
As much as he dislikes this city, Chingo knew he had to be here in order to fulfill his duty as he told Raiga some time ago. However, what Chingo didn't tell her is that he was a little more familiar with Jardin del Vicio than he led on.

Aku didn't even bother trying to attack Emily while she dealt with Alen. If fighting Georgia taught him anything, and the reach of her sword, it was that she would dance around him to pester him from afar, like a twat. Aku was excited at first, but Emily turned out to be just as boring as Georgia. He didn't want to play tag, he wanted to lock blades. "*Sigh* You know what Alen, you can have her. If I had known this was going to be nothing but dance offs, I'd have left an hour ago. Hey Walt, I'm taking what's left of SHARD back to HQ." Byakutora then grabbed SHARD's torso and began to walk away from Emily and Alen. He had no desire to put up with her hit and run tactics.

Raiga looked around as she found herself in what had become of her hometown. It was even uglier than she had remembered, a concept which filled her with a quiet rage. "I'm glad my folks didn't live to see this." She then heard Chingo has he asked what to do next. "The hell are you asking me for? You know more about these kidnappers than I do. But, considering all of the surveillance in this place, I know one person who can help us. I hate his guts, but he's reliable. In fact, he's how we got here. Of course, it would have been more convenient if he teleported us to his place, so we could talk to his stupid ass, but apparently that was asking for too much. Well, let's go find him."

"Look, I hate to bring you down like this Krizno, but if this continued, you might have been the one who'd have lost. You may not want to admit it, but right now, Vastion's a bit more fit than you are. From what I've seen from both of you so far, Vastion's not only stronger, but faster. Your body's tougher, sure, but Vastion's got more stamina. Despite your training, right now, Vastion is a step above you in terms of physical fitness and skill. He's on the level of a master....You....Well, your skill is about on the same level as Rean's. Sorry, kid. You gotta learn humility at some point. Besides, you were doing this for selfish reasons anyway. Vastion got on your nerves, and you attacked him for it. I would've understood if you were only concerned with bringing Lehte justice, but you made this about you and your petty hatred of Vastion. Knowing Carl, he would've smacked you upside the head for that."
Zemna called it as he saw it. Vastion was simply more advanced of a warrior. Given the tiniest bit more training, Krizno could match him. Heck, he could even be stronger than him. But as he was right now, he was an adept taking on a master. Keeping up the fight as long as he did was nothing but reckless.
After lecturing Krizno, Zemna turned to Vastion. It was time for him to get a piece of what's what.
"As for you, Vastion, what the hell, man? Lethe's long gone! There's no point in dragging out the fight as long as you did. You could've gotten yourself killed! You may be a step above Krizno in skill, but I'll tell you right now, he's got an arsenal that makes those swords of yours look like toothpicks. Why in the world did you keep this up for so long? Not only was it pointless, but you managed to put yourself in some really, really unnecessary danger. It's just dumb. I expected a lot better from Xerxes' apprentice. Not cool, kid. Not cool at all."
"Krizno, you need to learn how to not be so selfish. Vastion, you need to know when to stop fighting. And you both need to learn to not waste your energy when we have bigger things to deal with."
"So? What do you two have to say for yourselves?"
Zemna tapped his foot, awaiting their responses. Krizno's left eye twitched as more anger flooded into him. How...how DARE this lizardman say such a thing to him! Him, the apprentice of the legendary Carl Makkura, weaker than this idiotic horned man?! It was nonsense! Zemna was spewing garbage from him mouth! The lightning demon would show these two just how powerful he truly was! He would strike both of them down! He would continue his assault until they both said he was more powerful! "Calm down..."Krizno's yellow eyes widened in shock at the unfamiliar voice ringing within his head. Almost all of his rage had been replaced by shock and confusion. "He is right. As much as you hate to admit it, even you know he is right."Surprisingly, Krizno's rage continued to lessen. He ignored Zemna's question, not wishing to say anything about his recent actions at this time. He stood up normally and merely said one sentence. "Let's just go find the others. They will need help if this thing is as powerful as everyone is saying." Miya silently watched the ordeal, hovering a few feet in the air behind Zemna.

"Forget it, Byakutora. Leave it. I can make another. Just get yourself out of here."
Apparantly, Walther didn't care enough about SHARD to allow him to risk his life attempting to save whatever pieces were left.
Alen, meanwhile, seemed to hit nothing but the air with his arrows. In addition, the heat upon his back remained, even as he leaped into the air. It wasn't long, however, until the heat became a sharp pain. Alen should have found himself unable to move as blood gushed out of a small hole in his upper back. His upper spine had been completely crushed. Unable to maneuver in the air as he fell to the ground, one could wonder. Could he have survived the attack his had taken some more practical attempts to avoid being hit? Perhaps if he had just rolled to the side, rather than taking the time to shoot arrows everywhere? Who knows?
((*cough* *cough* shoulda just plain dodged *cough*. Also, sorry for auto-hitting, SRK, but Alen wasn't going to win this fight anyway, and I need to move things along.))
"Byakutora, tell me," a feminine voice called out to the swordsman.
"That gauntlet that you wear so proudly, as if it were your own. What do you truly know about it? What thoughts have you procured, regarding its origin? And what does it mean to you?"
For once, the woman stood still on the ground, completely visible. The sword handle in her hand was no longer just a hilt, but a full weapon. Heated, pink energy formed the hilt, forming a blade-like shape. A low hum roared from it, as if the blade was literally growling at Byakutora.
The pause in combat should have also allowed Byakutora to survey his surroundings more thoroughly. Should he have looked, he would have noticed the damage around him; buildings for miles onward seemed to be crumbled to bits or severed apart by some huge blade. Steam rose up from the ground, where red-hot lines of what looked to be lava stood. Did Emily do all of this in such a short period of time?

Why was this person getting in his way? What was so wrong about stopping this merciless creature from disgracing his master's ideals any further?
It was in the question, that he found his answer.
Vastion had no reason to fight for as long, or as hard as he did. At first, all he wanted to do was give the creature a chance to fix itself. But over time, he let his gaze wander, and the objective changed. What Krizno said about his master hurt him in ways he wasn't able to notice at first. It was that wound that drove him to unleash his rage upon Krizno. He wanted so desperately to protect his master's memory that he forgot just what those memories contained; mercy, forgiveness, and acceptance of others' faults.
"I see...In my desperate attempt to defend him, to defend what he stood for....I only further disgraced him.....I am ashamed. A better pupil wouldn't have made such a mistake."
"You both screwed up, yeah, but there's no point dwelling on it now. You gotta move on, tougher and smarter than before. Now that you've messed up, it'll be harder for you to mess up again."
Xerxes often said that in order to see the heavens, you must often first glimpse into the abyss. Learning from your mistakes was an essential point in his teachings.
Zemna pushed the two back to the matter at hand with his next bit of speech.
"Anyway, we've gotta get going. Rean and the others are gonna need help if they plan on taking out enemies. They've already got a head start, but I know a way to catch up to them."
Zemna grabbed Krizno's left arm, and Vastion's right. He held tightly. A bit too tightly for comfort.
"Sorry about this, in advance," he said.
A loud boom echoed through the air as Krizno and Vastion were lifted off into the air, along with Zemna. He had used his fire magic to rocket them into the sky, toward their destination. Vastion nearly had a heart attack over the ordeal.
If Miya still intended to assist the group, she would have to follow Zemna.

"....estin.....wo.....hear me? Raiga, this is Walther. Respond if possible."
Walther's voice rang through Raiga's ears as if she was wearing some kind of ear piece. Just how could that devious bastard be talking to her now?

Byakutora stopped as Emily spoke about his guantlet and bracer. His curiosity was getting the better of him. He turned to face her, and noticed her now visible sword, and the wanton destruction it caused. "...Heh. My best friend was raped and killed by a group of thieves. I stomped them flat. This is a spoil from that day. I've worn No Name ever since. My injured right arm feels completely perfect, and it's taken some mean attacks for me, and it has never been scratched. I'm convinced that No Name is indestructible, and it's saved my life several times. That's all I know, and it's all I need to know." Aku stood there for a bit before continuing, eying her sword. "I was going to ask if you just want to talk, but considering I can see your sword, I take it you want me dead. Damn, and here I wouldn't have minded going out with a gal like you. Heh, when it counts, I just have no luck with women."
Jardin del Vicio ~ Northern District - 11:52 AM
Raiga could hear Walt's voice in her ear, and now that she wasn't dizzy from being teleported, she could feel something in her head. "Walther?! You son of a bitch! I told you to never put shit in me like that again! Where the hell do you come off, messing with our bodies? Well Chingo, this is the bastard I was talking about. Say hi to Walt."

"It is invulnerable because I designed it to be so, along with several other weapons in the past."
Emily claimed that she made the bracer herself, and so casually too. However, it didn't seem to surprise Byakutora one bit.
The woman continued to speak, and Aku continued to listen.
"The sharpness of a sword is irrelevant if the blade is so brittle that it brakes after a few strikes. Much like your master, Raiga. Her eyes used to see what I saw, and even as I warped her hometown into a cesspool of greed and vanity, she understood my reasons for doing so. But eventually, her emotions blinded her, and she made herself my enemy."
The woman paused her speech for a moment, then gave Byakutora one, simple question to answer.
"First off, she's not my master. And secondly, yeah. Raiga spoke a lot about you, Archimedes."
Emily chuckled at the name. She looked to SHARD for a bit, which seemed to be listening in on the two, silently. After a couple seconds, she looked back to Aku.
"I am glad to know she did not keep anything from you....Would you mind answering another question for me?"
"Whatever, lady."
"Now that we are on opposing sides, does she hate me? Does she pity me? Or does she simply not care, and wants nothing more to do with me?"
Byakutora sharpened his brow. He knew the answer, but it brought back some very unpleasant memories. However, Aku wasn't one to let a little discomfort keep him from answering a question.
"No. None of those. But she hates what you did....You know, I could care less about how she feels now. But back in the day, I remember, that whenever she spoke of you, she sounded so....Just so miserable. Miserable enough to cry....That really pissed me the fuck off."
Emily nodded and gazed at the ground blankly. She loosened the grip on her sword a bit.
"Yes. Hurting people seems to be a trait I am most skilled at, whether I desire to or not."
She looked back to Raiga, and presented him with a sad smile.
"You're a smart person, Byakutora. If Raiga hadn't gotten to you first, I would have gladly taken you under my wing. Still, perhaps it is better this way. Chances are, I may have hurt you even more deeply than she has."
Byakutora folded his arms and shook his shook his head. Whether it was in disbelief, or disapproval, he couldn't tell.
Emily tightened her grip on her blade once more.
"I have enjoyed talking with you, Byakutora," she said. "But you still wish to fight me, do you not?"
"Nah. The more I talk with you, the more it seems I want to talk more....Why don't you answer one of my questions for a change? My best friend, the one your goons defiled and killed....Do you know her name?"
"Yes," She said, nodding. "It was Amy, wasn't i-"
"HASTA LA VISTA, ASSHOLE!!!"
Both Aku and Emily looked to the source of the sound. A man wearing a hawaiian shirt and roller skates, and carrying a golf club was rapidly skating toward Emily. His intent was obvious.
Once the young man came within whacking distance, he tried to pound her upside the head with the club he was holding. Emily, in response, kicked him in the chest, sending him flying back sixteen feet.
Rean hit the ground roughly, and coughed a bit before pushing himself back up.
"Dang...What are those legs made of?"
A swarm of motorcycles drove into Tadara boulevard, each of them dropping off one of Rean's companions. Krizno, Vastion, Zemna and Miya weren't far behind, as Zemna crashed into the ground while carrying both Vastion and Krizno, while Miya followed. Zemna set the two down gently. To say Vastion looked a bit dazed was an understatement.
Emily laughed happily. Her demeanor almost completely changed. She kept her calm, but the smile on her face indicated that she was incredibly happy at the moment.
"The savior has finally arrived. Oh, how long I've waited for this, Rean."

"Savior?" scoffed Byakutora. "If you say so. Hey, Hero, the grown ups are talking. Pipe the fuck down." He turned back to Archimedes. "... You know, you're a real ringer. I really have nothing to hide from you. You knew about my connection to Raiga, and ...that. Fuck, you even know about No Name. But most importantly, you know about Amy. I don't know how you live with yourself while knowing the names of all your victims, but it must suck. To be honest, I can kinda see what Raiga saw in you. Hey Emily, if this shit gets out of hand, and you somehow die, I promise I'll bury you in a place where your grave won't be defiled. Alright?" Byakutora raised his sword up, readying himself. "Listen up Walt! I told you before she wasn't in the contract. If you want me to stick around, you better have a fat bonus ready for me, because I am NOT in the mood!"

Aire
I grunted as I caught Rean from the woman's kick. You see, careening head first into a wall wasn't a good idea for this guy, as it would probably knock him dead for the rest of this fight.
"Yo, Rean, you alright?" As I said that, my eyes widened at the sheer destruction in the area... had..... had this woman done all that!? I shuddered, before I heard the other swordsman talk... he had the same sort of demeanor as Rean in a way, but different... I kinda liked that, and I didn't even know the guy.
It was then, right there, right then, that I began to brace myself. That woman was terrifyingly strong... even as a vampire I had to admit that. It was terrifying...
"Oh man oh man oh MAN!" I whirled around to see Lucii bound ahead of me, flames licking up her legs and her arms...
"Oh man... lady, I thought I was good at burning things,. but this... this HEAT! It makes me feel alive! You're Emily, right? Gee, seems like we were just talking about you... seems a shame to charbroil you right away!" Oh crap, I could feel the already stifling heat from the buildings rising... Lucii was turning the whole damn area into an even bigger oven than it was.
Then a minigun hit her in the head.
"Lucii, calm down so you don't cook us as well." She just nodded, and could only grin as several of the large gatling guns poked their barrels out of Altair's coat. Just then, he stared back at me, then behind me. I looked back as well, and saw the others arrive as well. And one person who I had no clue about.
"Right then, extra man power, not asking questions..." Right then, right there, I could tell... this wasn't going to be easy... it was time to have some FUN for a change!
"Alright then, lady, you better be ready, cause it sure as shit isn't just Rean you'll be dealing with!"

Krizno briefly looked towards Rean, somewhat surprised that Emily had managed to knock him back so far so easily. It was apparent that they could not afford to underestimate this woman. But why was she smiling? Was she actually looking forward to facing all of them or was she simply insane? The lightning demon glanced at Altair, Lucii, and Aire, noticing they were all prepared for attack Emily at a moment's notice.
Krizno then noticed the unfamiliar white-haired man speaking to the female gang leader. It seemed like he was against Emily since he was also preparing to fight her. That was all the lightning demon needed to know as he returned his gaze to the leader of Xipe Totec.
Miya's armor's jets shut down and she landed gently on her feet. A long black rifle suddenly enveloped her left arm; blue lines slowly lighting up upon its surface as it activated. The ex-military leader was also prepared for this inevitable confrontation.

As the battle with Emily was about to begin, a gang of motorcycles burst into a burning Tadara Blvd, each carrying everyone that left the abandoned. Within this group was Yeshua and his loudmouth spiritual companion, Inferno, hovering above him with only his upper body taking physical form. As they entered the battlefield, the vodic yelled various battle cries to get himself pumped for the upcoming battle.
"Good afternoon morons and douchebags alike, the mother fudge-ing DREAM TEAM HAS ARRIVED," Inferno proclaimed in the brashest manner possible. It wasn't very long until the two saw Rean was sent flying into Aire. "...Holy crap, man!"
"Dude," Yeshua said to Inferno to gain his attention, "check out what's going on up ahead." He pointed toward Alen, an unknown swordsman, a busted up robot, and the woman whom they suspected was the source to the madness. Inferno places a hand over his brow and looked beyond to where the aforementioned group of people was.
"Huh... I have no idea about the chick and the hoodraged Griffith over there, but I had no idea we'd be seeing Mr. Bow-jangles again."
"Neither did I, but let's worry about what Alen has to do with all of this later. But pay attention to that woman over there. I'm getting an ominous feeling from even looking at her. It probably doesn't take a genius to sense how terrifying her power could be. Just look at that aura..." No doubt Emily's prescience was making Yeshua as uncomfortable as he was skeptical. He wouldn't had been surprised if the others hadn't felt the same way.
"I see. So I'll assume for the worst that that glowing pink bubblegum lookin' mofo is the boss, am I right?"
"According to everyone else, I'm afraid so. We're looking dead at the boss of Xipe Totec herself. This Emily person everyone kept talking about."
Inferno sprouted a shocked look upon his face and glared at Emily. Not from whatever grim emotion lying dormant within himself, but from sheer anticipation. Inferno slowly grinned from the excitement he was feeling from this fated encounter. "Heh heh heh, this party's startin' to get pretty fun!" He slammed a fist into the palm of his hand and laughed maniacally. "Man, I can't WAIT to get a chance to One-Inch Punch this broad into some cold hard concrete!"
"Let's try not to underestimate the opponent we're dealing with here, but I'm pretty confident we can hold out long enough before Darrell and Mikarah can catch up to us." Yeshua hopped from his bike and spawned his swords, which he then unsheathed and took a battle stance.
It was soon after that Inferno was enshrouded with various bursts of flames. "All righty then, so cue that final boss battle music and LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED RIGH-EET!!"

Emily looked to Byakutora and smiled gently, letting out a single chuckle as she did so. She then addressed Lucii, who seemed incredibly excited to see her.
"Now, now, aren't we getting a little ahead of ourselves? I haven't finished with my exposition yet!"
The woman held her left up in a fashion that made her look like she was holding an imaginary apple. After a few seconds, her hand dropped, and she began giggling uncontrollably. The hand she had raised up a moment before was now clutching her mouth in an attempt to keep her laughter in.
"Ooooh, so you're one those villains that like to say 'hey, look at this moron' when they're about to get their ass whooped by the hero. I always figured you'd be the cigar smoking, emotionless type."
Rean made light of the situation they were in. Everyone else seemed put off, or disturbed, but not him.
"Ah, Rean," She said. "How long I have waited for this moment, for you to carry away in your heavenly chariot. It makes all those years of waiting worthwhile."
Rean was genuinely put off by this. He had expected the woman to at least be competent. Right now, she was acting like a complete and utter loon.
"...What have you been smoking, and where can I get some?" he asked.
"Forgive me," she answered. "I seem to be a bit delirious from the excitement of it all."
Slowly, the woman regained most of her composure, though she continued to smile drunkly at Rean.
"It has been so long...I wanted this moment to arrive for so long, but even so, I delayed it. I wanted as much time to prepare as possible, so that I could make this moment as close to perfect as possible."
"Not even my fangirls are this creepy. Are you high or something? 'Cause, you know, I thought the head of Xipe would be smart enough not get all doped up before a fight."
"No, Rean, my savior. My mind is clear. More clear than ever."
Savior. That was the second time she said that word, and now it was clear she was referring to Rean.
"Savior? I don't know what you're talking about, lady, but I sure ain't messiah."
"Don't listen to her, Rean! She isn't right in the head! She's speaking nonsense!" said the dismantled robot. Emily proceeded to stomp on the robot's head, heavily denting it.
"Do you not see, Rean?" she asked. "The reason you are able to walk demigods and master warriors with thousands of years of experience? You are MY messiah! The one in several million with the sheer determination and willpower to match that of the gods! It took so much trial and error to create you, Rean."
"Create me?" Rean asked, panicked.
"Yes. I created you, my child, just as I created everyone born here. What, did you honestly believe that this was just a city? No. I never designed it as such. It is a laboratory. One, giant, laboraty, designed to produce and individual of extraordinary talent. Most of them are failed experiments."
Emily took a few steps toward Rean before continuing.
"This city was designed to produce you, Rean. You are a Paragon of humanity."
Rean's eyes widened. This woman was either nuts, or REALLY nuts. What kind of person would make a city for the soul purpose of producing someone like Rean?
Mosharu laughed to himself maniacally. "You're serious, Emily? This is the 'hero' you put so much effort into birthing? I'm disappointed." In response, Emily shook her head at her former friend. "There is more to power than just pure physical strength, Mosharu."
"Perhaps I should start from the beginning," she continued. "Do you know what happens when the human race is confronted with an obstacle it can not overcome? It does what any other race does. It adapts. But humanity is particularly....special, in this regard."
She paced back and forth across the steaming pavement as she went on.
"Humanity has a special way of adapting. Occasionally, when the need is dire enough, a special individual is born. An individual of unparalleled potential. Tell me Rean. In your entire life, could you ever say that you have even once doubted yourself?"
Rean took a moment to the back. The others watched him as his eyes rolled upward.
"Nope. Can't say I have. I kick to much ass to doubt myself."
"THAT, is your power, Rean. You do not possess spectacular magical abilities, nor do you possess god-like strength. What you DO possess, is strength of mind. Your mind is an unstoppable force, constantly moving forward, without hesitation. You are immune to the temptations that have claimed the vast majority of men in this city."
Rean puckered his lips and scratched his head.
"So....You're saying I have god-like stubbornness?"
"Exactly."
"That STILL makes no freaking sense! How the heck does me being born in this city make me some kind of superhero!?"
"It is simple. This city, this garden of vice, is filled to the brim with self-destructive pleasures. Drugs, prostitution, criminal organizations, easy theft....Everything a society needs to drive itself into the ground, willingly. You see, this city is doomed. In a few hundred years, the population of this city will die out, because the people who live here can not help but resist it's delicious poisons. You, Rean, are nature's answer to this problem."
It was unthinkable. An entire human society built for self-destruction. The prospect of it boggled Vastion's mind. He understood so little of civilization, yet he believed that he at the very least had a basic understanding of its purpose. He had come to believe that societies were formed in order to preserve a population. This evil place that Emily made was the complete opposite of that.
"Let's say I believe you," Rean said. "I'm still confused as all crap. Why the heck would you even bother to do this in this first place? Because you just felt like it? Jeesh, RazeRed's plot makes more sense than you!"
"There's something coming, Rean. Something that will make the eight hour war seem like an argument between children in comparison. When it comes, no amount of physical force will be able to protect us from it...."
Vastion suddenly felt a chill in his spine. The feeling of struggling in vain. The sensation of being carried away by nothing, and no one.
Zemna stepped forth to confront Emily.
"Emily, this isn't right. There are other ways we can stop it. You didn't have ruin so many lives in the process."
"Believe me, my old friend, if there was another way, I would have taken that path the moment I saw it. But....This is the only way. Besides, it is too late to change things now. He is on his way here, and I must keep you here until he arrives. I must see, with my own eyes, if my efforts were worth it in the end."
"You plan to keep us here until whatever is coming arrives? That's....Beyond cruel." said Vastion, still unsure what to think of the woman.
"You poor, poor child. When will you grow up and recognize the difference between reality and fiction? When will you put down your crayons and embrace the real world?"
Vastion suddenly felt nervous. He had no idea what she was talking about, and yet, her words wounded him as if she were confronting him for commiting some great sin.
"I don't understand...."
"Vastion, why did you come to this city?"
"I came here to find out why your men tried to kill me."
"Well, I am right here, are I not? Why not ask me right here and now?"
Of course. In travelling with Aire, Rean, Krizno and the others, he had practically forgotten his whole reason for being in the city in the first place. He would never have come to this city under normal circumstances. It was crowded, there was a good chance people down on the streets would leer, and worst of all, it was a dark, evil place.
"Very well. Why did your men try to kill me?"
"Because you're dangerous, and pitiful. Your existence is the shoddy equivelent to a badly written book."
"I'm...a book?"
"Your character is contrived, and poorly written with a child's crayon. But writing this story gives you an escape; it keeps your eyes away from the terrors of reality. Even if the great threat I speak of is vanquished, and we are saved, your fictional nature may still be the doom of us all. Krizno is justified in his hatred of you. You are a menace, Vastion, even if you may never realize it."
Vastion still didn't understand. How could he be a menace? He had put every ounce of strength he had into ensuring that he would be the spitting image of the successor his master envisioned. He tried so hard to perfect himself in every way, to color in all of the blank spots.
"Forget it, Vastion. Emily isn't right in the head. Just ignore whatever she says." Zemna tried to reassure Vastion that there was no true substance in her words.
"Yeah," Rean added. "Anyone who thinks I can single handedly save the world probably needs to have their brain opened up....Not that I couldn't save the world, mind you, but the way she puts it is just fulla bullsh**."
"I see," Emily said, bring the group's attention back to her. "It seems that my word alone is not enough to convince you....If that is the case, I'm afraid I still must keep you here until the terribleness headed our away finally arrives. By any means necessary."
Emily whipped her sword against the ground.
"If there are any words left unspoken, let them out now. There will likely be no time for chatter once this fight starts."

"Heh. Heheh. Hihihiihihihi! That's what this is about? Uhugh! Hughuhehihihihi! This was all about making a guy like him? Uheh! Hehihyhehheheh! You spent the last several decades, screwing this place over, to make a shit stain like him? Ehah! Hihihihi! Oh-hoho hehehahahahaha! Hehehihihi! Ihiihihahahahaha!" Byakutora just couldn't stop laughing, he found it so twistedly funny.
"Oh my god! I wish Raiga was here to hear this! She would flip out sooo fucking hard right now! Uhuhihihihi! Hihyhihihihihi! Ehehiheheheehehehe! I can just picture, the stupid ass look on her face! Ehehihehehahaha! Hehehehihehe ehihihiihahahaha! Oh holy shit! Emi-ly-hihihihi! This is so fucking hilarious, I might actually die-hihihihihi!" Aku continued to hold himself, as if he was trying to stop his sides from splitting as he laughed uncontrollably. It was ... haunting. This was not some laugh of evil, or triumph. Somewhere deep down inside, a part of him found the whole thing genuinely hysterical. Slowly, Byakutora began to calm himself, letting out a long, drawn whistle to help bring himself under control.
"You know, I'm glad Raiga picked me up instead of you. As bad as she messed me up, at least she never called me a "failed experiment." That hurts Emily, it really does. I thought we really had a moment back there." Suddenly, the twisted smile gave way to a menacing glare as what humor he saw in it had been jarringly spent. "So what does that make everyone else? Are you saying the people at the orphanage are "failed experiments?" What about everyone who's died? WHAT ABOUT AMY!? Is she just another "failed experiment," too?! Is that what you're saying?! Emily, you better apologize REAL quick, or... so help me, you'll be thrashed by the very things you made!"

Aire
You know, its a rare thing for me to sit and listen to someone ramble on and on that long with almost no end in sight, without making a peep, nor a whisper of my own. No, wait, it was multiple people. Hell, I had been ready to beat this lady's ass from the moment I got here.
Okay, so Rean was some savior that could stand up to some horrific abomination (that wasn't me) and come out of it on top. Fair enough. This city was built, no, it was freaking designed to rip itself apart slowly. Cool, cool. Unfortunately, there was more talking than fighting going on right now, and I considered this a rather awful thing. Unfortunately, all this information had little effect on what I was going to do to her.
Probably more unfortunately was the way Lucii seemed to suddenly be staggering, as if she had just been hit in the head with a bat...
Lucii
"S-So... what the hell does this make me, then? If... I... hadn't... no way. There's no freaking way..."
My head hurt, my body felt like it was cooling off. Where the hell was I. It was some sort of waste that, made by whatever weapon that women used... But that wasn't the point.
"You said... this city was built to destroy itself, right?" No, it wasn't really a question; I had heard it quite clearly. My life, my dad's life... they were nothing more than part of this experiment. He died so I would live, but I tried to throw that away too... that meant I was a failure in this woman's eyes, even if we didn't know each other personally.
"Lucii, are oka-"
"NO I AM NOT!" I screamed at the sky for all it was worth, a sparse few flames licking up around me before vanishing, "This woman... my life, Rean's life, the life of anyone who's ever suffered in this city... IT'S ALL HER FAULT!!"
I... I don't think I was standing properly, my hand blindly pointed in her direction on instinct as my lungs felt like they were about to burst...
"IT'S HER FAULT MY DAD HAD TO DIE! ITS HER FAULT I TRIED TO KILL MYSELF! AND... And...!" I felt the brush of my hand against my skirt as it fell back down, and my shoulders and body fell a little with it.
"Its your fault I'm like this, and that was I able to at least dance for some of the miserable people in this city. And if it wasn't for you, I would have never known what it felt like. You are one hell of a colossal bitch, do you know that, Ms. Emily?"
I staggered around, pointing at Rean, while still staring down that woman, "And HE is where all your trouble went!? Woman, ARE YOU CRAZY?" It was there that my bangles caught ablaze, probably because I was so pissed, "HE'S the reason for this city!? ARE YOU-"
Altair
"Are you fucking stupid, woman?" To my pleasure, Lucii seemed lost for words. I was about to lay something down, short and sweet for this deluded woman.
"We're not going to kill you. We are going to beat you within an inch of your life, and leave you, for whatever... 'terribleness' awaits you." As if to make a point, I drew my guns back into my coat, and began performing the magic to summon the Eye of heaven above me. I was dead serious; if whatever was coming our way was worse than death, it was exactly what she deserved, and I would make certain that she got it.

"... Hello, bastard." replied Chingo playfully as he was also aware of Walt's "presence" inside his and Raiga's heads.
Contrary to Raiga's attitude towards Walt, Chingo on the other hand didn't mind the methods of his assistance. Also, Chingo had been raised to always show gratitude towards any kind of help no matter what person provides it.
"But seriously, thanks for the lift, Walt. As much as we wanna get down to business, Raiga here tells me that you can help us regarding the surveilance in this unholy place."

"So...this entire city was merely a laboratory in a way." The lightning demon folded his arms as he whispered this to himself. The armored soldier next to him still heard it though, due to her helmet's functions. She responded to him without looking at him, her eyes continuing to focus on Emily.
"It would appear so. Something like this is inhumane, despite any incredible results it may produce. I cannot accept something like this." Under her helmet, Miya's eyes shifted towards Krizno. "And if I know your master, I highly doubt he would accept something like this as well."
"Of course he wouldn't. Neither can I."
Krizno took out his double-sided axe and lightning began crackling around his body. He was finally ready to fight. "There was never any chance of me fixing the corruption within this city, since all of it was from your designs. I cannot change what is already destined to become something even in its basic design."
