Okay, it seems that a lot of people are confused about how the segments involving Jerom's manipulation work, and that's why things have come to a stop. I thought I might as well give you a layout of what goes on, and what you can do.
RULE 1: Your mind is being invaded.
In the fissure, Jerom can tug your emotions and try to make you feel certain ways against your will. Think of it as a form of temptation. Whenever something like this is written....
"Alen had no idea what to do. He should curl up and think about mommy."
"Aire wanted it. Aire wanted it."
"It repulsed Krizno. It repulsed him, and he wanted to kill it."
....THAT means the character is being tempted to do something. If the character is devout and detirmined, he or she should be able to overcome the temptation with some effort. However, if the character has recently undergone a depressing or demoralizing event, it should be extremely difficult, if not impossible to resist, and may need saving from an ally. React appropriately based on what's being manipulated. Remember what your characters emotional and mental weaknesses are and be honest.
RULE 2: Symbolic acts and determination are your greatest weapons
You may eventually find yourself in a logically impossible to solve situation. You may encounter an infinitely tall, unclimbable wall that represents the character's unwillingness to move forward in his life. If the character punches said wall while realizing that he needs to move on and not dwell on the past. the wall may crumble to dust, allowing th character to move forward. Symbolic acts and what you could essentially call "character development" is what will allow you to beat Jerom and escape the fissure. Feel free to be abstract in your thinking. The fissure segments are comprised mostly of "puzzles" that the characters need to solve, and being logical will only lead you to a dead end, if not a bottomless pit.
RULE 3: There is power in numbers.
Find your allies if you had any with you when you entered the fissure. The combined will of multiple people will be more powerful than one. Your allies may be required to get past certain points or solve certain puzzles.
Follow these, and you should be fine. If you're stuck or don't know what to do, PM me.
