God damn it Looks like that Blue Magic Script just sucks. Must be a conflict with an existing script. If I can't figure it out, I'll remove it later and see if I can replace it. If I can't, then we'll just have to think of something else for Priscilla.

Fixed the glitch for the Carl quest. It no longer restarts after you complete it. The rest of it works completely fine. You get your reward from Suzuki and everything is as it should be.
EDIT: Man, you guys want me to move the Carl fight to the bar? I'm gonna have to redo the dialogue as well as completely rebalance him since Veronica and Vydunas are by themselves during that part. It can't happen during the zombie apocalypse either since it'd make zero sense for him to fight the heroes in the middle of a crisis like that.
EDIT 2: Removed brigandines from Suzuki's shop, raised cost of Hellblaze Armor to 25,000. Gonna go through the chests in the game and replace all the brigandines with adventurer's garb now. Also replaced Veronica's brigandine with hard leather. Gonna work on Elaina's Creator Siren in a bit too. What I think we should do for it, is somehow make it so that Creator Siren can only be used if Max is in the party. Like a joint skill.

Look into nerfing the Hellblaze armor or removing it altogether. At its current form it buffs all stats considerably and is easily the most broken armor in the game up to that point and probably for a while.

i was able to get 25K real easy early on by just selling brigandines and shit (H)
make it some obscene number in that case.

Oh god, Vydunas as an opponent in the arena is horribly broken. Got him down to 50% HP, then he just kept doing Diagonal Bisection, delaying me, then doing it again. Killed me because he did it 6 or 7 times in a row.
Good news is that Elesia no longer destroys the game after losing using Blue Magic. Probably because Hisui told me to disable the script for now : D
Also finished removing Brigandines from all the Vindictus shops and chests. Increased the price of Hellblaze Armor to 50,000. It should be unattainable at this point in the game, especially since the Brigandines were removed and replaced with Adventurer's Garbs.
I'm gonna make some slight changes to Grant. Give him 5% MP regeneration so he doesn't become useless when his magic runs out, since all his useful skills require MP. Someone ask Tok if he wants to give Grant some skills that use TP. Until then, I'm giving him that MP regen. I'll also look at his damage formulas, although he honestly didn't do that bad when I tested him, alongside Vydunas, Veronica, and Max, against the zombie invasion boss at level 8. Grant has an electrical attack that can cause paralysis, which was essential against the boss. On top of that, he did very good damage with his fire skills when he oiled the boss. But, again, all of this required MP. So when it ran out in the fight, all he could do was shoot with his regular attack, which does very minor damage.
Max died in one hit from the boss though. Shouldn't be a problem since, in the game itself, the party should have some revival items handy to bring him back. Considering lowering the boss' basic damage or slightly increasing Max's defense. I know he's supposed to be fragile, but dying in a single hit is a bit much.

-No heal after battle before Ryu in Arena -Fortune Teller/Kali/Max battle, Veronica is not removed -Kali and Max start at level 1 instead of 6
Just fixed these two bugs. There's also another one where, when you win the Arena, the announcer will walk up to you and face the left, but the player stands where they are, so the announcer is looking at the air and the player is looking at his side.
EDIT: Also fixed the bug with Kali and Max starting at level 1 instead of 6. You gotta "initialize" them when adding them to the party, that way they start at their initial level in the database. Makes sense when I think about it...

Added Grant into the Arena during the zombie invasion. He's helping Tael, Elesia, and Hot Links Guy fight off zombies. He gives you a Hi-Potion if you talk to him. He also moves in front of Tael and Elesia when the prince gets knocked out by the sub-boss, telling them to get behind him.
Hopefully that's in-character for him, Tok XD
I also blocked off access to the West and East plazas once the entire party is gathered. If the player attempted to enter these areas, the characters will talk about how the zombies in both areas have been dealt with and the Arena needs to be investigated.
EDIT: Changed Veronica's Shattered Psyche a bit. Instead of it using the "buff" option in effects, I made it increase her stats by 40%. I lowered her chance to critical from 50% to 20%, her chance to counter attack from 100% to 25%, and the increase of her evasion from 100% to 20%. She does more damage on her basic hits while Shattered now (from 300 - 400 to 350 - 450 now at level 10) but she gets critical hits way less often now. She also counters way less and gets hit more often. Hopefully this is enough of a nerf for it.
EDIT 2: And now the zombie invasion boss annihilated me when he finally used Giant's Rampage for once. Killed Vydunas, Veronica, and Max all at the same time. Priscilla fell soon after because she can't do much by herself XD

Got a lot done today. Made different expressions for multiple character portraits. Hisui and I also started fixing up the game's dialogue so it flows more smoothly. (I managed to fix up the inn scene when Veronica and Vydunas are chatting). I added in a tutorial in the beginning Drago fight, telling the player about Vydunas and Veronica and their strengths and weaknesses. Hisui added one in for Max and Kali when you get them as well. I'll be doing one for when you get Priscilla tomorrow.
...I feel like I'm forgetting some other stuff we did.

Me, SRK and Slvr went so hard on this shiz yesterday that it wasn't even funny. The title screen is epic, the save screen is nice as fawk, almost all the dialogue has been cleaned up, expressions are being added, tutorial battles are done, it's all getting really polished. I'm also editing in a part after you beat Hecatoncheir, where Max goes around healing as many people as possible. If you get everyone that you can, which isn't entirely easy, you'll get a prize, most likely a robe and a new title for Max. Oh man did I go hard last night Edited until about 3:00 AM in the morning. Was it wise? Perhaps not. Was it worth it? Go check for yourself : D Max's sidequest is done, save for the rewards. I literally had to edit every piece of dialogue in Vindictus, and make a lot of long as fawk events, but I'm pleased with how it turned out. I've bug tested everything that SRK and myself saw, and all the glitches seem to be gone in that area. Inner now appears and disappears properly. Inner also has received a slight buff, thanks to feedback from SRK. Might need to see how it stacks up, haven't tested it much (His stats in general during the Inner state have been buffed). Holy Arrow and Wall have been renamed to Saint's Bolt (bwa ha ha Darien) and Holy Barrier. New animations have been given on both. Holy Barrier cuts all damage by 65%, and doubles healing effects, while Saint's Bolt has a chance at paralysis. I've tested out the side quest myself, and while it isn't entirely fair since I know the locations of everything, I'm fairly sure it's doable in ten minutes. Getting everyone however, might be a little more effort. As for things left to do on my end, it's not much, just minor details. It's just: 1) Some tiles in Bloody Exterior 1/2/3 and Bloody Interior are still walk-through, like some blood tiles. 2) In some indoor buildings, there are some windows that have light shining through, as well as some light tiles that I should remove.3) Give the rewards to Max for completing the side quest. EDIT: The timer doesn't stop after you get back to the inn. Should you want to test it yourself and tell me whether I fawked up on something, I've loaded a Max save at the very beginning at level 8, on slot 1. Tip, try not to use any magic during it Your mana depletes faster than you think.
