Tael's expression seemed to ease up a bit at Suna's words, and a grin came to his features at her idea. Having people to talk to would make things a lot easier for him here, and he presumed that it would make it easier on them as well. He nodded in affirmation to her words, placing both of his hands behind his head, and resting it against them.
"Yeah, I was thinking of something like that. We can talk about each other's worlds too. You know, exchanging stories and all that." There were a plethora of tales Tael could have told Carl and Suna, and maybe, if they wanted, he could share a bit on the Carl and Suzuki of his own world. The former prince extended a hand to Carl, giving him and Suna a warm smile.
"Deal?"

Carl returned the grin and leaned back in his chair as well. "Ha, yeah. I gotta admit I'm interested in how your world is. I bet it's way different from ours."
Suna's smiled was somewhat forced when she spoke. "For your sake, Tael, I hope it's way different from ours."
The undead man next to her knew what she was getting at and, in an effort to change the topic and keep the lightened mood, asked a question.
"So, Tael. Who do you have on your team? I know that blonde chick, the one in charge...Amuzi, I think? Yeah, she said she has a bunch of different teams of people going around helping. So who's on yours?"
Suna silently looked at Tael, looking forward to his answers. She was curious to know what otherworldly people were in his group.

There she was. The scantily clad she-bat that stuck out like a sore thumb against the well polished atmosphere. She looked like she belonged at a costume party, or better yet, on the side of the street at night.
"You," Kazuya called out to the disgrace of a woman. "Where's your master? The muscular one in the fancy clothes?"

"That's fine. You're not the only person I know with that problem. Zero also has trouble saying what he needs to sometimes. He's around here also. Probably making preparations for the next op-"
X was cut off short by an incoming ping. He could practically feel his head ringing as Alia was trying to contact him. X, doing the responsible thing, decided to receive the transmission and prepare a response.
"I'm sorry, I have to take this," he said to KOS-MOS before letting the signal through.
"X, can you hear me? If you can hear this, please respond."
"Loud and clear, Alia."
"Good. We've managed set up some special transmitters, so we should be able to hear you as long you stay in that specific dimension. What's your status?"
"Everything's green over on this side so far. I'm conversing with a mechanical organism that has a similar design and behavior to a reploid."
"A robot from another dimension that behaves like a reploid...X, do you have any idea what this means!?"
Alia seemed...very enthusiastic. Apparently, she was on to something that X hadn't quite noticed yet.
"No. Can you elaborate?"
"A reploid-like being from another dimension could prove incredibly valuable if we're given enough time. Just think of the potential technology and enhancements we could develop if we-"
"That's not our main priority right now."
"Of course. I'm sorry for getting carried away. I don't mean to treat this person like she's just something to be researched. She's still a person. Just keep us updated on the situation, okay?"
"Will do," X said as he turned his attention back to KOS-MOS.
"That was my navigator, back at Maverick Hunter HQ. It looks like they're interested in examining you, but don't worry. That's not a priority right now, and even if it was, we don't have the right to take in anyone unwillingly for the sake of research."

Morrigan's smile evaporated upon hearing Kazuya's voice. She was attracted to the overwhelming sense of power he gave off, but his personality and morals was something that she could not help but dislike. Demitri's morals were in the gray area as well. He was not exactly a kind person, but he protected his allies and showed he craved power for more than the simple purpose of having power. It was because of this that she offered the vampire the position as the next ruler of Makai.
On top of that, Morrigan now recognized Kazuya. Or, at least, the power he held within.
"'Master'? Really? That man is not my master. I'm actually rather insulted you would even assume such a thing..."
She took a few steps towards him.
"But that is beside the point. I believe I have just realized something about you, Kazuya. That power you have. I could not shake off the feeling after we met back in Racamgi, but I recognize it. In one of my earlier journeys throughout the worlds, back when this whole crisis was just starting and was still a mystery... I came across someone with a similar power."
A smile tugged at her lips, as if she could barely contain the joy of saying this next part.
"He looked like you. But was younger. If I didn't know better, I would say that he looked as if he could be your son... Our contact with brief and uneventful, but it would be impossible for me to fully forget how such demonic power feels."
South Balcony
KOS-MOS was curious about this "Zero" person. The way X said his name so casually...it was not hard to guess that they were friends. The thought of being examined by another world's inhabitants crossed into her mind then. Truthfully, KOS-MOS was not sure how she felt about it. Would being examined by them require taking her apart? If so, it was something she definitely could not do. But, on top of that, she had her doubts whether they could even fully understand what they were analyzing.
"It's fine. I would actually considering complying so long as they did not need to take me apart to examine me. But on top of that...there are several parts of me that even I know nothing of."
She paused. It felt odd to talk about herself like this. About her inner workings and such. It felt rather personal. But she and X had gotten off to such a good start. They were alike in several ways. He was a perfectly fine person to hear such sensitive information.
"They were built into me by the man most responsible for my initial creation. But since he was killed before I was completed, no one knows what such functions are. They're called "black box" pieces, since no one can figure out what they're for. Not even the woman who worked alongside him to build me. I do not mean to offend, X, but if she cannot figure out what those parts of me are, then I do not believe your world's people can."
She decided to quickly change the subject.
"By the way, what exactly is a Maverick Hunter? A maverick is often defined as a type of rebel. Someone who goes against the established norm in a dangerous or disruptive way. I'm going to go ahead and guess that there are some people in your world who do not believe in the current order of things? So they try to change things with violence and you are part of a group, these Maverick Hunters, that have the task of stopping them?"

Dining Room
"For your sake, Tael, I hope it's way different from ours."
Tael frowned at that particular sentence, catching it despite Carl's quick change of topics. What was going in their world...? If they didn't want to talk about it that badly, was it that bad? Or maybe they were talking about Suzuki again? Regardless of the reason, Tael caught the hint, quickly switching the subject. When Suna asked him about his team however, his usual infectious grin faltered slightly, and he couldn't help but wince. His team...
"...I'm pretty new, so I just met them today. It kinda went like this..."
Tael walked in the plain, beige walled room where his supposed team members were to be waiting for him. To be honest, he couldn't help but feel a mixture of nervousness and excitement at the moment. He had been a part of a team before, but it had always been with his friends, people he had known. This would be with people he had never met before... he hoped that he'd fit in with them, and there weren't any problems.
As he walked in the room, he felt multiple eyes dart to where he was, and the prince couldn't help but swallow, giving a nervous grin in return. Scanning the room for his team members, he found a rather unusual variety of assorted people looking back at him. Sitting in a wooden chair near the corner was an unusual youth with the same shade of dark blue hair as himself. He had a school uniform on, black pants, white button-up shirt, and a black school blazer with an unusual patch on the front. On his ears, were a set of devices that Tael proudly identified as "headphones". It was obvious that he was the quiet type, as after he locked his pair of enigmatic blue eyes with Tael, he gave a curt nod, then seemed to look away into a window to the side of him.
Another man was leaning against the wall in the furthest corner of the room. He had on an almost pure black attire, surrounded by a crimson red cloak that was attached to his clothing with chains. His long, raven black hair was bound by a red headband, and he had rather peculiar metal boots on his feet. And... was that a claw on his left hand? By the way he seemed to brooding in the corner, he appeared to be yet another quiet type.
"Greetings. Are you our new team member, Sir..." Thankfully, a pair of people went out to greet Tael, and for a second, his mind went blank when he turned to them. Uttering a quick apology to Marina, he realized that the young woman speaking to him was stunningly beautiful. She had a feminine, gentle face and voice, with blonde hair tied in a tight bun, and soft emerald eyes that seemed to pierce into his figure. The woman was garbed in an ornate blue and white armor, and for some reason, Tael felt relieved that she was on his side. She was so beautiful, Tael missed the tall male behind her with auburn hair, dressed in a simple t-shirt and jeans. He was staring at Tael with a rather dour expression, as if catching his stare at the woman.
Tael ignored the stare for now, but put it in the back of his mind for later. He didn't want to do anything to offend his new team members after all. Right now, he was just grateful that they seemed to rather normal.
"Tael." He answered with a grateful grin, which seemed to put the male behind the woman at a little more ease. "And you?"
"Hmm?" The woman seemed to be a bit confused at my question, tilting her head slightly in response. And now he was confused.
"Umm... your name."
"Ah. I am of the Saber class." Tael was now even more confused, but Saber seemed to accept her own explanation easily, smiling lightly and gesturing to the male behind her. "This is Shirou-"
The young man behind her threw up a hand and gave him a nod in response.
"Sir Vincent-" She gestured to the crimson-cloaked man in the corner, who didn't respond.
"And..." Saber turned to the young, blue haired teenager in the corner, and frowned slightly. "...Forgive me. We have not managed to succeed in getting him to talk yet."
...What kind of team was this?
"A-Ah... so... Saber, right? Like the sword? Tael questioned, quickly attempting to change the topic. Saber's light smile, which he couldn't help but notice made her look even more beautiful, returned, apparently pleased with his question.
"Yes. It would be difficult to explain now, but for now, think that it means that I am most proficient with a sword." She explained, finally taking interest on the object protruding from his cloak. "I am curious... what is it you are proficient in, Sir Tael?"
"J-Just Tael is fine, really..." Tael muttered, he had gotten some weird nostalgia. It had been a while since anyone had called him "Sir". His face lit up slightly at the interest in his specialty however, grinning lightly. "Oh, this? It's a bow... I'm an archer, I guess."
At those words, Saber's cheerful expression seemed to freeze, and she turned her head away from him with a dignified 'Humph'. "Come, Shirou. I believe it's time for dinner."
And with that, she grabbed the rather apologetic looking young man away, not sparing Tael a single look back as she walked away.
"..." What just happened? Rather stunned and confused at this turn of events, Tael instead tried to salvage his relationship with the remaining members of the team. The prince walked over to the young, pragmatic teenager with the headphones, giving him a warm smile.
"So... you said your name was..."
"..."
"Umm..."
"..."
"...Those headphones are really working, aren't they?"
"..." Shockingly, the young teenager took his headphones off, staring at the prince with cautious blue eyes.
"Oh, you heard me?" Tael questioned hopefully. "So, what's your-"
"..." The teenager silently put his headphones back on, as Tael looked on in disbelief. He stood there for about a full minute before deciding to give up, and talk to the last remaining member of his party. The crimson-cloaked man did nothing to acknowledge him, and for some reason, he made Tael somewhat nervous being in his vicinity.
"So... Vincent, right? Nice to meet you." Tael nervously held out his arm, giving a weak smile as he did so. He wisely held out the hand that would not get shaken by Vincent's claw arm. Tael felt his spirits slowly sink as Vincent failed to acknowledge his presence, instead silently staring at Tael's outstretched hand. Eventually, he muttered something so quiet, that Tael had to lean in somewhat to hear it.
"...sin..."
"Eh?"
"...My hand... is too full of sin, to grasp yours."
"..." Awkwardly, Tael rescinded his hand, as an uncomfortable, unsalvageable silence converged on the two. He began to shift away from Vincent slowly.
"...I think I'm just gonna leave."
"...I seriously hope we don't die on our first mission together." Tael muttered in a slightly depressed tone, holding his head in one of his hands as if a migraine was coming. "How about your group?"

Rivera waved at Amuzi as she walked out, and began to look for something to do. That's right, she needed to find The Doctor. She decided to go to the dining hall like Amuzi suggested. Maybe he would be there, eating bananas. It wasn't long before her wandering led her past her new "boss".
"Hi Kazi-kun. Bye Kazi-kun." He seemed looking for something, so she didn't bother to stop and talk. She doubted he would accept assistance anyway. Men. She eventually found her way through alien corridors, and into the dining hall, where she found quite a few people, some she didn't recognize, but most importantly The Doctor.
"Hi everybody. Hey Doc, can I ask you for a big favor? I realized a while ago that I left my stuff back in Racamgi. And I think some other people did, too. Could you help me get them back? Please?"
Kirby looked back and forth between the two robots. What just happened? The big one said sorry, and the red one got angry. Why? Kirby was confused, and sad. He wondered if he should help them. Of course, the answer was obvious. He hopped off of Marisa's lap, and ran between the two. "Hai!" he shouted up at them. He pointed to each before slowly shaking his stubby arm up and down. They should shake hands, the puffball thought.

Kazuya essentially ignored Rivera as she walked by, instead focusing his attention on what Morrigan had just told him. ...
"Jin."
Of course.
When the three of them had met that last time, it was clear that all three of them had different plans. Different ideas on how to end the obnoxious crisis that prevented them from settling the various scores they had with each other.
Kazuya went one direction, and the others went another. It was to be expected that Jin and Heihachi would be traveling their own respective paths through this dimensional maze.
As long as Jin didn't get in his way, he was fine with allowing him to snoop around for now. However, he hoped that Jin would not prove so weak as to die before Kazuya could reclaim what belonged to him. If he did, it would have been an anticlimactic end to all the feuding they had engaged in over all these years.
Kazuya usually wasn't one to engage in pointless theatrics, but this was a special case. Only he had the right to take Jin's devil powers from him. He, and he alone.
Kazuya turned his attention back to the whore in front of him, still standing in a sultry position, as if waiting for some weaker man to fawn over her to improve her self-esteem. Pathetic.
"You think you can distract me, she-bat? The boy will get what's coming to him eventually. All I care about right now is that you answer my question. Tell me where the vampire is. Now."

Black Box parts? X understood the concept well, considering how both he and Zero had similar pieces within them. Pieces that seemingly defied analysis for reasons that could only be speculated.
When she asked about Mavericks, X's expression noticeably darkened. It was an unpleasant subject for him, but one that he had to talk about almost all the time.
"There were...imperfections in the robots based on my design. Like you, nobody, not even I know what all the circuitry inside me does. Nobody, human or reploid, has been able to properly analyze it all. Almost all reploids are based off of my design, but because not all of my hardware can be properly replicated, errors started to occur in their programming, turning them berserk, or even polluting their personality cores to make them malicious at heart. What's worse is that they're vulnerable to virus infection."
X shook his head. He was approaching the hard part of the explanation.
"There's a pandemic spreading in my world. A virus that causes reploids to malfunction in the worst way possible. They go berserk. They turn...evil. The reploids that end up this way, via the virus or simply through bad programming, we label as mavericks. The Maverick Hunters exist to neutralize potential and ongoing maverick activity."
Or, at least, that's what they used to do, X thought to himself.
"But when all the dimensional rifts opened, things changed. Earth needs as much help as it can get if we don't want it to be torn apart by the portals. The actual hunting of mavericks is a secondary priority until we resolve the current crisis."

The Doctor's mouth contorted into an awkward shape. He wanted to tell Rivera something, but was having trouble coming up with the right words.
"Weeell, there are about a total of 67 problems with that, and I'm sure you don't want to hear them all, but first answer me this. Do you HAVE to go back? Right now? Today?"

The Doctor grimaced as he said, "Nnnnngggghhno."
"You see, dimensions are like....straw rope. Every time you open or force things through a dimensional rift, that rope unravels a little bit. Push enough stuff through over time, the whole thing unravels, and now you've got straw ALL over your floor, you need to get a vaccuum to clean it up so your cat doesn't eat it, it's just messy!"
The Doctor took another slurp of his soup before continuing.
"You can't be reckless in tampering with the laws of the multiverse. If we can, we should be taking every precaution possible to ensure that we only loosen up the dimensional barriers as much as we need to. If we were to just go crazy with dimension travel without any restraint, paradoxes would start to form. Physics would not longer work properly. Apples would turn into crabs! All very bad stuff."

...
Yukari stared silently at Amuzi for a moment, as she listened to her explanation, her offer, and her self-musings. Her mouth turned down in a frown, increasingly more, as she shifted the image in the gap; the Reaper had begun an attack on a human settlement, a bright red laser of some sort slamming into the more primitive village. While Gensokyo was a hotpot of cultures, from numerous faiths that no longer had a place in the human world, and even varying levels of technology, the human village was simple, plain, and unguarded against such an enormous threat.
"The problem here, then, if that I've found out two things. This... Reaper, as you call it, has either been displaced in time, or is, as you say, being controlled. Because I couldn't influence it in the slightest. The human village itself was all but destroyed, and the Reaper, well... that particular village was nearby its goddess' shrine. She didn't like that very much." The image shifted a final time as an impossibly violent tornado tore the Reaper apart, the sky itself turning on the otherworldly invade.... and then the earth rose up, taking the form of a giant snake, and pulling the sentient battleship to the earth. Abruptly, Yukari shut the gap, dissipating the image.
"Now, yes, I would appreciate some... experts on this matter, that isn't quite the problem I'm having here. This thing, this Reaper, forced its way past the Hakurei Barrier, and specifically targeted one of the few human villages in Gensokyo. I have village leaders, goddesses, and a host of other difficult personalities breathing down my neck because of this... but, the point I need to make, after seeing that, and what I've seen in Racamgi..."
"... Whatever is doing this. Can it actually be stopped? Because there's no god, no goddess, no artifact, that I've ever heard of that could do this. And I'm sure you know well enough... there's not alot people like us don't know."
Marisa's Room
Marisa watched as Kirby jumped down, and motioned for the two robot men to shake. A tiny smirk formed on her face as she watched and she shook her head.
"Either they're going to shake, or they're going to have it out at some point the old fashioned way, ze." That was just how it was, now wasn't it? You agree, you disagree, you fight, you make up.... and you forgive, right? It was at that moment that she realized that no one had ever really done something completely unforgivable to her... not that she could remember anyways.
What if Reimu died for really, killed by an enemy from another world? Couldn't she just have her master... well, no that would be cheating. But then again, Marisa had never been above cheating...

Suna laughed awkwardly, unsure of what to say about the prince's group. Carl, however, was blunt.
"Damn, Tael. You have a really dysfunctional group."
"Carl!"
"Hey, I'm just saying, Suna! But if the sorceress chick made you guys a group there must be some chance at working well together, right?"
The green-haired maid sighed and decided to answer Tael's question.
"Our group's actually...rather large. We have Jade Curtiss, who's standing over there by the way." She pointed a slim finger at the long-haired mage standing in the room. "Yarashii Sato, a swordswoman from our world. The Doctor, who's apparently a big expert on dimensional situations such as this. He's sitting right over there talking to Raiga, a woman with strange powers who was brought back from the dead for this adventure. She's part of our team too. The others are...Yu Narukami, a teenage swordsman who has the power to summon different kinds of spirits. A small, probably unstable, witch named Marisa. A small pink puffball named Kirby, who has the power to inhale objects and energy and take on their properties. X and Zero, two men who have the title of 'Maverick Hunters'. Not exactly sure what that is, but they're pretty powerful. And...uhm...Carl am I missing anyone?"
The undead man couldn't resist laughing. "Honestly, I'm not surprised you forgot about Kazuya."
Suna snapped her fingers. "Oh, right! Him! Yeah, he's an ass. He's definitely going to be trouble later."
Carl raised an eyebrow at her. "Really? You think so?"
"I can't tell if you're being serious or sarcastic."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"What is it that you want?" A deep masculine voice said from behind Kazuya. Standing behind him now was the large regal vampire, Demitri Maximoff. His arms were folded and his red eyes focused on the Mishima in front of him.
"Morrigan." He began, without even looking at her. "Go inform those in the Dining Room that it is best for them all to get some rest soon. There are ten hours left until this operation truly begins."
The succubus looked at him and smiled. "Very well. I was getting tired of sitting here doing nothing anyways." She then hovered past Kazuya and the vampire and proceeded down the hall.

KOS-MOS's expression shifted to one of sympathy. To know that the cause of your world's main problem was linked to your creation. Of course, it was because people attempted to replicate X's design but still...she wondered if he felt any guilt about that. To have to put down your own kind because others tried to replicate you. No matter how she thought of the Maverick situation, it sounded terrible. It was a far different kind of danger than what she was used to in her world.
KOS-MOS placed a comforting hand on X's shoulder.
"Then those people are quite lucky to have you as one of their protectors, X. I can tell that you are quite powerful and, from this conversation, I can see you are truly a good person at heart. Often, power corrupts. But not for you, even though you have free will. It's an admirable trait."
The blue-haired android began walking inside.
"This place is going to become very busy soon. I suggest we both get some rest before we are all sent off on our missions."
She stopped and turned to look at X one more time.
"Be careful out there, X. I cannot shake the feeling that this is going to get significantly worse. We will lose people. Just try not to let yourself be one of them."
And with that, she turned and kept going.

Amuzi stroked her chin as she contemplated Yukari's words. She had thought about this before, of course, but she had been trying her best to not think about it anymore. She didn't want to admit it, even to herself, but the thought that there could be a single being capable of doing this, without their knowledge, was frightening beyond belief.
"I honestly have no idea. For all we know, it could be a thoroughly unstoppable being. It could be the creator of all existence who wants to wipe us all out and start anew. Or it could be a single person who got their hands on some ridiculously powerful artifact and knows about us and is, therefore, hiding themself. No wait, if it was that, at least one of us would have detected them. If not you or me, then Doctor Strange, Doctor Fate, The Specter, Odin, or someone who's even close to our level!"
The sorceress was beginning to get frustrated now.
"It could even be a being beyond all our comprehension. Considering who we are, if that were the case...I'm not sure what I would do. But until then, I am going to keep trying. There are many heroes here who have continued fighting despite impossible odds. Sometimes they succeeded, sometimes they failed. But they never gave up."
She looked at Yukari. "We have to be the same way."

Marisa's Room
Colonel looked down at Kirby, his expression stoic and unchanged. He then sighed and looked at Zero, the puffball, and Marisa.
"The operation shall fully commence within ten hours. I suggest all of you get some rest, eat if you need to, and prepare for your missions."
The reploid turned and walked down the hall.

[[Apologies if she's OOC]]
Tael silently listened as Carl described their own group, eye twitching at the sound of some of them. Jade Curtiss... it seemed to be another version of his Jade, given by the fact that no Indignation casting had happened yet. And the small pink puffball, he could have sworn he saw something like that before as well. The rest of them were mysteries, as far as he knew. But really...
"And you said my team was dysfunctional?" The priest questioned with a raised eyebrow, imagining the diverse spectrum of people in the group. Still... such a large group had to be fun.
Suddenly, the doors to the dining room opened, and seemingly all eyes seemed to draw on the figure walking in for some reason. Tael questioned it himself, before he saw the curvaceous, green-haired succubus that walked in wearing rather... skimpy garments. The prince had to desperately repeat inside of his mind that, yes, he was already in a relationship, and his face was just red because the dining room was a little stuffy. Even then however, he couldn't deny that the succubus had some strange, irresistible pull about her that Tael was sure was responsible for the sudden attention of everyone in the dining room. She gave an alluring smile once she saw that everyone was focused on her, hands folding behind her back neatly.
"Everyone, it's best to get some sleep for tomorrow. Everyone's mission will start in about ten hours, so we wouldn't want you being tired beforehand, right?" Morrigan finished her announcement with a playful wink and flutter of her eyelashes, which caused many a male in the dining hall to smile dumbly. Afterwards, she hovered back out of the door, and the dining hall once again became filled with the sound of chatter and dishes, as well as chairs being pulled up as many began to leave.
Regretfully, Tael turned to his new acquaintances, giving them a rueful smile as he stood up and scratched the back of his head. "Better get some sleep. I wouldn't want Saber getting on my case tomorrow..."
The prince held out his right hand to the undead reaper and emerald maiden with a grin. "You know, I'm glad I met you two. Fixing the universe is boring without anyone to share it with."

Raiga could only cross her arms and pout as The Doctor seemed unwilling to help her. "Maaan. Oh well, I'll just have to tell Yu that he'll have to wait a while before we get a new shirt for him. At least it'll be fun to watch his little spiels with Yarashii. His bare, sweaty chest will tease her kitty senses for sure~. But what about my own clothes? I can't just go around naked whenever I have to wash these. And if I'm stuck in a place without a dryer, air drying these will just take way too long. You wouldn't happen to have some sort of fix, do you, Doc?" It was then that Morrigan appeared, announcing the impending mission. She didn't quite understand why the most of the men in the hall seemed so fixated on her. She was voluptuous to be sure, but the swooning seemed excessive. Was it some sort of magic, a passive spell? Bah, what did it matter? "We'll talk later, okay Doc? Niiiight~." Raiga walked off towards her own room, but not without stumbling upon a scene. She hung back as Kazuya seemed to be in a staring contest with his larger, red-headed doppelganger. She maintained her distance, curious as to what would transpire.
Marisa's Room
Kirby looked at the big robot with a hint of confusion. An operation? What was he talking about? But, he said that they should eat and sleep, two of Kirby's favorite pass times. So he nodded at the Colonel, and turned back to Marisa. Kirby was ready to sleep for now. Was she ready, too?

A small smile cross Yukari's lips, as the ancient youkai heard Amuzi's words. Giving up wasn't an option; not when she had her own land to protect. No matter what unspeakable force there was mucking up the multiverse, she'd be damned if she let it destroy Gensokyo.
"I do believe we are in agreement."
Marisa's Room
Rest. Marisa was about to say something witty but Colonel just had to mention anything related to food.
".... urk. No thanks." Almost comically, she faceplanted on the bed, tired as hell from... well, quite a few things. Infact, to say the young witch was exhausted would be a gross overstatement. All she wanted to do right now was sleep...

Dining Room
Clothes?
Really?
The Doctor was fairly certain that there must have been some garments lying around this place somewhere. He would have recommended that she look around, but before he could do that, Morrigan phased in nearby to inform everyone of just how little time they had. Raiga left soon after Morrigan did.
Well, at least 10 hours was plenty enough time for him to finish his food. That was something at least.

East Hallway
Kazuya stared down the vampire with his own demonic gaze. At the moment, they seemed to be at a stalemate. He ignored Raiga as she stood a distance behind him, even though he was quite aware of her presence.
"You look like me," Kazuya said right off the bat. "I can even sense something similar to the Devil's power within you. Perhaps you're some alternate reality counterpart to me, or maybe it's just coincidence. Either way, it doesn't matter. Make sure that you know your place, vampire. Just because we look alike doesn't mean you can consider yourself my equal."
Kazuya walked past the vampire, having said all that he wanted to say.
"You should heed your own advice and hide in your coffin like a weakling. I'll be training until it's time for us to leave."
Kazuya continued down the hall, and immediately began searching for a place to train. With his warning given to his imposter, he could now focus on more important matters.

South Balcony
"Goodbye," X quietly said as he watched the mechanical woman walk away.
...She certainly was designed with aesthetic beauty in mind.
This wasn't the time to think about art, however. KOS-MOS brought up a very unfortunate truth before leaving. As X resumed gazing at the far off worlds, he knew that it was something that he would have to accept.
"We will lose people....We won't be able to stop all of these stars from dimming."
"Not everyone, X," Alia reassured him over the comm. "Not everyone."
