Dining Room
Carl had to admit, the succubus had an incredibly attractive allure. He found it difficult to avoid staring at her and forced himself to look at the floor instead. Suna had no problems with looking at her. After all, she felt no attraction to Morrigan and felt fine with admiring her beauty.
The undead reaper looked at Tael once the distracting Darkstalker left. He stood up from his seat, as did his female companion, and shook the prince's hand.
"Yeah, agreed. At least we'll have some cool stories to share."
Suna nodded. "Take care of yourself, Tael."
The two of them then began to make their way out of the dining room. They both knew they would need their sleep if they wanted to function effectively during the coming storm.
Command Center
Amuzi nodded at Yukari and decided to switch to a different topic.
"Now that the announcement's been made, I suppose I should alleviate some of the more superficial worries of some people..."
The sorceress placed two fingers to her head and, for one moment, everyone could hear her voice within their heads.
"My warriors. For those of you with concerns about clothing and such, you need not worry. Multiple copies of your current attire should be in the closets of your chosen rooms. Rest well."
She then cut the mental link and sat in her chair, leaning back and sighing.
"Soon I can finally get this show on the road. I hope I'm prepare for all this..."
Amuzi looked at Yukari.
"You should get going as well. There are some last-minute things that still need doing."
East Hallway
Demitri simply laughed. He had heard Kazuya was confrontational and such, but he had not quite expected that. It was humorous to see such a man talking to him like that. Normally he would have ripped out his spine then and there, but he was aware that Amuzi needed the man. The vampire could not see why, but she was the one who had the plan. She was everyone's best bet for success, so it was best if he did not piss her off.
On top of that, he owed the sorceress a personal debt. After all, she saved him during the collapse of the previous version of existence. He still had trouble admitting it, but he knew that it was a debt that would probably never be fully paid.
Orange flames swirled around Demitri's hands. If this Kazuya caused trouble later on though...he would not hesitate to strike him down with every ounce of his power.
East Balcony
Yarashii's ears perked up as she heard Amuzi's voice. She turned and looked at Yu, pointing a finger at his bare chest.
"So, if I'm not the only one who heard that, it looks like you finally have another shirt to wear, haha."
She began walking back inside the building, yawning, with a slight purr mixed in, as she went.
"Well, I'm still pretty tired from everything in Racamgi. So I think I'm going to go off and get some rest. You should probably do the same, Yu. It's most likely not going to be long before we get sent off on a mission."
[[You can all have your characters go to their rooms, finish their interactions, etc. I will be skipping ahead next time I have a chance to post. ]]

Raiga simply shrugged as Kazuya passed her by without so much as a hello. "Men. You give them an eternity, and they'll still act like boys at the playground. Sigh, and that witch. Great gal, but what kind of woman fills wardrobes with the same outfits? Who wants to wear the same thing over and over again? Meh, whatever. Maybe I can find some neat threads in the next world. Maybe I'll go train with Kazi-kun. I haven't exerted myself at all today." With that, Raiga walked in the direction Kazuya went, and quickly caught up to him.

Tael silently looked at the hand that Carl had shaken, his cheerful grin slowly evaporating into a grim expression that seldom graced the handsome prince's features. For some reason... that handshake felt... conclusive. He didn't like that feeling at all. The prince stared at the fleeting forms of his two new friends, something coming to his lips that even he hadn't expected.
"Carl!" He suddenly called out, surprising even himself as he called out to the reaper and emerald maiden. What was he going to say? What was there left to say? He didn't know, but there was no mistaking this feeling that seemed to clog his throat and tug at his chest. Whatever those two were about to do... it was going to be dangerous. Of course, he had expected danger entering this whole thing... but there was an indescribable omen he felt about that handshake, that he doubted he would be able to explain.
"...Stay alive. Both of you." Tael muttered, his jet black eyes hiding an indeterminate emotion, before the prince turned his back. and was swept away into the crowd.

So all the warriors within the Pearl Sanctuary prepared themselves for the coming storm. Whether it was by training, sleeping, or getting one last good meal. Their unique skills would be put to the test and the trials they each faced within their own worlds would be looked back upon as child's play, when compared to their future challenges.
When it was time to awaken, everyone did so. Some awoke from alarms they had set themselves, some woke up of their own accord, while others had to be awakened in more forceful manners. Either way, many warriors soon began arriving in the Pearl Sanctuary's Central Chamber. The ceiling had risen several floors, allowing those on the higher floors to look down over the rails and listen to the sorceress.
Many unique individuals could be seen walking around, joining up with their groups and preparing for the briefing. It was truly a marvelous thing. Thousands of people from different realities were present and many teams had people from completely different worlds. Many people doubted how such mismatched groups could be successful, but if the white sorceress had enough power and knowledge to create such a gathering, then she must have had some reason for the structures of these groups, correct?
Already waiting in the Central Chamber, on the first floor, were Yarashii, Carl, and Suna. The emerald maid looked around in astonishment. There were so many different people that she nearly found it overwhelming. She could have sworn she saw a younger-looking Kazuya before. He had a similar face, but his hair was different and he wore sunglasses with a black trenchcoat.
Suna was currently observing another odd group. This one consisting of a beautiful woman with pale skin and long black hair, who wore heavy makeup and a black and red dress. Standing along with her was a man with red face markings, silver hair, and...wolf ears? He had a katana with him, but just looking at it in its sheath gave Suna a sick feeling. There was also a man of an even stranger disposition with them. He had black hair, a muttonstache, and wore a tan overcoat. The odd aspect of him was his third arm. It was long, black, and had claws. Truthfully, it could be compared to an insect's limb. A sickly-looking priest was also with them, as well as a pretty woman with black wings, and another woman in a purple robe. Suna saw the robed woman's face for a brief moment and she could have sworn she was looking at the face of a doll. They were all soon joined by, what Suna assumed was, the rest of their team. A well-built man with light skin, blue eyes, and facial stubble. He wore gray armor with a small emblem on the right breast that read "N7". Behind him were two others. A creature that Suna could only describe as an alien, a man with mandibles and a blue visor over his right eye that wore blue and black armor. The right side of his face was horribly scarred, as if shot with a rocket. The other person was large muscular man who looked rather much like a biker. He had grey hair and wore primarily black clothing with a few chains spread throughout. The sleeves of his jacket looked as if they had been torn off and he had a black and blood-red cybernetic right arm.
Yarashii noticed Suna staring and cleared her throat.
"You know it's impolite to stare, right Suna?"
The maid laughed sheepishly and looked away from the group. Meanwhile, Carl was looking around at the various other people too, but he managed to severely limit his staring. He was confused as to why there was a red and blue truck in the room, but he said nothing of it. He watched as some others began walking up next to the vehicle and began...talking to it? One of them was a man with black slicked back hair and a black suit. Another looked rather similar to the Kasshu knight back in Racamgi, except he wore normal clothing,. There were a few others, but they were all wearing tight bodysuits of varying colors and holding helmets. If Carl didn't know any better, he would have compared their outfits to pilots of some kind.
He folded his arms and sighed quietly.
"Damn. Things must be really bad if all these people might not be enough..."
[[ Feel free to describe how your characters woke up, what they did, etc. Just have them arrive and meet the others near the end. You can also add in your characters seeing various other characters standing around in their own groups. It is your choice, though. ]]

Command Center
Yukari nodded a quick affirmation, with a quick smile.
"For a complete unknown, you've shown enough competence for me not to be worried. Take that as you will, but I mean it as a compliment.... suppose I do have my own preparations to do as well, so, for now, farewell." As Yukari stepped backwards through a gap, she paused for a moment, before shaking her head, and vanishing from Amuzi's view, leaving her alone in the command center.
"I wonder how everything will change..."
East Balcony
Yu sighed slightly, a hint of relief in his voice. Possibly a hint of disappointment as well, but that would be a stretch...
"Well... alright then. I probably do need some rest." Given all that they had been through, it was the smartest thing he could do right then.

The rather sickly looking priest greeted the other three members of his group with a light smile, long past the point of nervousness when speaking to them. Of course, they did look rather intimidating, but he didn't like to judge people by their appearances anyway. The visored alien behind the man with N7 armor was actually quite easy to get along with, if not rather sarcastic, and the other two weren't that bad either. The gray armored man could probably even lead the entire group. He had the natural demeanor of a leader.
After greeting the three however, the priest went back to scanning the rest of the room's groups. It was amazing how many different people were there. He thought for sure going in, that they would be the oddest group. It seemed he was wrong. His eyes scanned over the undead reaper, green-haired maiden and lithe female swordsman, catching the emerald maiden's stare at his group and smiling in return, before continuing onto the rest of the room, his eyes hardly believing some of the entities that were in there.
"...I think that truck is alive." He muttered, a mixture of awe and confusion in his tone as he watched an assortment of people talk to a large truck that was somehow placed in the hall.

Central Chamber
It wasn't long before Yu, Marisa (holding Kirby), and Jade entered the massive central chamber, right behind Carl, Yarashii and Suna. All of them reacted differently to the immense plethora of people gathered in the Pearl Sanctuary. Yu's eyes traveled upwards, as he whistled at the incredible number of people... or perhaps, beings gathered. Some of them certainly weren't human.... and were some of them talking to a truck?
Marisa grinned widely, and was about to send a plethora of magical fireworks into the air, before Yukari showed up (right on time, I might add) to stop her. One middle finger later, the border youkai was standing behind her charge to make sure she didn't try to cause any more trouble...
"Ah, so lively. Though, I must admit, the amount of spirit in this room makes it hard to stay calm." Jade laughed quietly as he fixed his glasses, staring around the room.
"That woman is truly impressive... to have gathered so many."
"... Yeah, I can't disagree there." Yu spoke quietly, still somewhat awed by it. Then again, a large part of him was glad that he wasn't going around shirtless anymore... and it seemed that Marisa's old leather outfit was gone as well, and was replaced by a more traditional looking set of black and white clothes, complete with a very distinct hat. Infact, it looked like everyone was certainly more in order than they had been when he went to sleep. Yarashii in particular looked a bit better than she had before, after a few hours of rest and relative peace.
But something was still nagging him. And he had to ask...
"Uh... Yarashii, Carl... or, well, anyone. Do any of you know why those people are talking to a... truck?" It was like one of those big rigs you see on the interstate...

"...Are you saying that in your universe, there's only one timeline?" asked the jacketed, purple-haired man with the sword on his back. "If you go back in time, you can go forward and see the changes for yourself?"
The Doctor gave a casual nod in conformation as he took a bite out of the 5th Avenue Bar he was holding.
"Sort of. I mean, alternate realities to mine exist, but that could be said about pretty much every dimension packet."
"So, if you wanted to change the timelime for the sake of creating a better future, you could?"
"Not always. Some events can be changed, but there are some events that can not under any circumstances be changed. If someone were to stop the American Civil War from ever taking place, and believe me because I've seen it myself, things would just fall out of place. Those are the kinds of problems I fix."
"Damn it," the purple-haired man said, his frustration apparent. "Why can't time travel just be simple for once?"
"Metaphysics," the Doctor replied with a shrug. "Simple, incredibly complicated metaphysics."
As they continued to walk, the corridor came to a sharp turn. A man with green skin and a turban came into vision a short distance down the hall to their right.
"Bardock isn't coming with us," he said almost immediately as the two came within earshot.
"What?" Trunks said shakily. "But there's only six of us left! Why is it that only two of us are willing to make an effort to stop this madness!?"
"With Goku gone, he's lost the one thing he was willing to give his life to protect. It's going to be a while until his head is clear enough to do anything other than act on his own desire for revenge. As for Krillen and 18, they have their own child to worry about. It's best they stay here and make sure that little girl doesn't lose the only family she has left."
Trunks grunted and clenched his fist. He looked to the Doctor for advice.
"There are some things you can't change," The Doctor told him regretfully. "No matter how much you want to."
"...Yeah. You're right."
Trunks looked back to Piccolo, who looked back at him.
"Come on," the namekian said. "We can't start recruiting new warriors until we get through this meeting first."
"Right," the jacketed swordsman said as he began to follow the Namekian down the end of the hall. He looked back to the Doctor and gave him a wave as he said his goodbyes.
"Thanks for talking to me. I'll let you know how things are going on my end if I can."
"Bah. Don't trouble yourself on my account," the Doctor said back to him. With that, the Doctor began to search for his own group, eventually settling on a spot within the meeting room where the others would be able to find him easily amongst the crowd.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Zero, X and Kazuya ended up taking the same path to the meeting room after they finished up with their individual preperations. X and Zero traded glances to each other that indicated suspicion towards Kazuya, to which the martial artist payed no heed. When they found the Doctor in the meeting room, they walked over to him and each claimed a spot near him to stand. They then waited patiently for the others to arrive.

Raiga followed after Kazuya, playing her part as his "grunt," though upon seeing Yu and Yarashii, she quietly abandoned Kazuya to mingle with the other members. It wasn't like he ever talked to her, and for being in a room with beings from across the multiverse, she was incredibly bored by Kazuya's stiff personality. After putting some distance between her and and her so-called boss, she made her way to Yu's little group. She really had to marvel at the scope of their gathering. It was as if no era or culture among the stars had been left unaccounted.
"Yarashii! Yu-kun! ...Well, well. Morning, Miss Voyeur~," Raiga greeted Yukari. "Man this is pretty intense. It must one hell of an announcement if all these people are here." Kirby's eyes were distant as he absorbed everything he was seeing. It was truly overwhelming for one so small.

Central Chamber
A bright tower of light appeared in the center of the room, upon the raised pedestal in the center. A large booming sound accompanied the display, demanding the attention of all the warriors. Three figures could be seen appearing within the light and, moments later, it faded. Now standing on the pedestal was Amuzi, in the center, flanked by Demitri and Colonel. The sorceress had a serious expression on her face as she stepped forward, looking around at all her summoned warriors.
She was not really conceited, but this was one of those moments where she could not help but silently admire her own power. There were only a select few beings in all of reality with enough power to create such a gathering. The militaristic reploid and vampire both looked around at the hundreds of guests as well. Both saw people they recognized, yet neither made any sort of greeting.
Amuzi outstretched both her arms and greeted everyone, her magic increasing her voice volume so everyone could hear her.
"My beloved warriors! It warms my heart to see so many of you have accepted this invitation! To see so many of you standing up to help save all of existence!"
Her golden eyes looked over everyone on the floor in front of her, including Yu, Kazuya, and the rest of their group.
"There has never been a gathering on this level before. A gathering of people from completely and utterly unrelated worlds, all for the same purpose."
Amuzi was saying all of this to help sink in just how important this whole operation was.
"Reality is dying, my friends. You have all seen the tears in the space/time continuum within your own worlds. Everything is at risk. Not a single world will be left standing unless we find out what is causing this and stop it. Now is not a time for selfish desires such as power and revenge. This is a battle for survival. For if we all fail, everything will be destroyed. All of your worlds, everything you all worked for, and everyone you love, will perish."
The atmosphere of the room was becoming noticeably darker. Many of those present were being filled with hopelessness and despair. This was not surprising, though. The true scale of the situation was still sinking in for many of them. Amuzi knew this and held up a hand.
"But it is not hopeless. Otherwise, I would not have gathered you all. This group. This army of courageous warriors of varying skills and backgrounds... You will be the ones who prevent The End."
The sorceress looked back at her lieutenants, who both nodded.
"This journey will be dangerous. Many of you may perish and many of you may see and experience things that will break you. You all accepted my invitation when initially recruited, but now that you all know the full scale of things...if any of you want to leave, simply say so."
She placed a hand on her chest and spoke with sincerity.
"I will not judge you, whatever your decision."
The crimson maiden standing alongside the sickly priest, doll girl, and others, spoke up.
"There is no point in us leaving. To do so would simply take away strength from our group. This would foolishly lessen the chances of us succeeding, even if by a miniscule amount." She then looked back at her allies, to see if any of them disagreed with her speaking up for them. The alien in the blue and black armor chuckled.
"Heh. You were one of the last people I expected to say something, Veronica. Thought you'd just stand there and be your usual broody self."
"Garrus." She started. "Silence. Lest I scar the other side of your face and make it match."
The man in the gray N7 armor had been with the group long enough to know when the maiden was joking. He simply laughed quietly and nodded at Amuzi.
The red and blue truck, surprisingly, spoke up next. His voice was deep and had the natural allure of a leader and warrior.
"The Autobots are sworn to protect all innocent life. For us to leave now would go against our very Sparks. My allies and I are prepared to face whatever challenges that lie ahead." The small group of pilots next to him all nodded in agreement.
Several other groups spoke as well, all showing they were willing to continue, whatever the risks.
[[ Feel free to have other characters speak up. They don't have to agree to keep going, but it is up to you. If you desire to give any cameo characters a team, make sure no other RPer already has a desire to use any of the characters you placed on said team. ]]

"She's right." The sickly priest stated with a small smile, glancing at the crimson maiden next to him as she spoke. He had never expected Veronica to speak up like that... she had truly gone a long way since when they first met. "Going back to our homes, and pretending that our worlds aren't in danger... that's just living in denial. I wouldn't be able to live like that... and I'm sure it's the same for most of us."
"Plus, I'm pretty sure my girlfriend would break up with me if I went back to Sollius now." A familiar voice, at least to Carl and Suna, was heard in the crowd, as Tael and his group stepped out, the young prince grinning lightly. Beside him, a young man with short auburn hair, dressed in simple blue jeans and a t-shirt, raised his eyebrow at the prince.
"...Hey, what's with that shallow reasoning?"
"What? It's true. Saber would get mad if you went home too, right?" The prince shot back with a smirk, not anticipating the troubled expression of said knight next to them.
"...Shirou. There is still time left, as the archer said." Tael's eye twitched upon hearing the downgrade of his name from "Sir Tael" to "the archer", but wisely chose not to comment. "Will you not go home to Rin? I am sure she is concerned about you. Perhaps there is a way to provide me with adequate mana across worlds." Saber's expression and tone was gentle and concerned, but resigned as if she already knew the answer to her question.
A silence passed between the group, and a dark cloud seemed to envelop Shirou's somewhat distant expression as if he were thinking about something in the past.
"...You know I can't do that." As if that simple sentence was all she needed, Saber hesitated, before nodding silently, leaving the topic be.
"You... carry sin with you as well." Startled by the quiet voice that suddenly emerged, the three of them turned to Vincent, who was staring intently at Shirou with an unreadable expression on his face.
"..." Shirou, nor Saber, or Tael himself could think of anything to say, and the group again faded into an uncomfortable silence. Whenever Vincent rarely spoke, it usually ended up like this, Tael thought with a sigh. He didn't think that he would ever understand his group. But he did understand one thing. Marina, Carl, Tsuki, Elesia... everyone was waiting for him back home. That was why he could not return home, and he guessed that it was the reason most of the people in the room had stayed as well. The thought of everything that he had, everyone who he loved, and everything that he had worked for being shattered by something out of his control, was too terrifying to put into words.

"We'll do it," a green-skinned man in a turban said. The man in the jacket with violet hair nodded as well. Another voice with an accent similar to a Texan American spoke not too long after.
"Yeah, well you sons of bitches have fun with that. Me and the pazer here are gonna get the hell outta dodge."
The voice came from an individual that looked....messy, to say the least. He had long, disshelved black hair that had a red streak running down slightly left of the middle. His limbs looked as if they were artificially pieced together, and each piece seemed to have a bar code tattooed on to it; the same kind of bar code you would see on groceries at the supermarket. His face was covered in white paint that depicted the rough image of a skull, and he wore a long, nearly destroyed duster jacket. He carried both a rifle and some kind of chainsaw-like weapon on his back.
"Come on, John, let's get out of here," he said to the man next to him. John couldn't have been more different in appearance. His appearance was much more clean, and he wore formal military clothes that heavily contrasted the dirty casual wear of the person who was currently addressing him.
"Change of plans, Duster," John replied back. "We're helping them."
"Oh, come on, man! I thought we agreed not to give any fucks about this!"
The renegade now identified as "Duster" shook his head and sighed deeply.
"Well, if we're gonna do this, I might as well get hyped for it."
Duster held his fist out toward John. "Hit me," he said. John responded by smirking and bumping the outstretched fist with his own, after which the two high fived each other, and lightly punched each other in the shoulder.
"Okay, we'll do it," Duster finally said to Amuzi, not the least bit concerned about what the crowd might have thought of him after making such a scene.

"My, now, when you put it like that..." Jade scratched his chin thoughtfully for a moment, before shrugging, "Yes, I do suppose there are people that I would rather not die back home.... I imagine Emperor Peony would be rather cross with me as well if I didn't do anything about this." Yu gave the... rather unconcerned sounding colonel a blank stare, before nodding a silent agreement to that.
"All of my friends, all of the people I met in Inaba, and my parents... even a few of the people here." Yu glanced at Yarashii briefly before continuing, "... I'm not going to accept losing any of these without a fight."
"That's the spirit, ze!" Marisa grinned, playfully punching Yu on the shoulder, "Besides, when all this is said and done, I'm sure there'll be one hell of a party back home, with all the sake you could ever want!"
"I don't drink." Yu spoke flatly, and bluntly, and with such finality that Marisa couldn't really respond immediately. Yukari coughed, breaking the silence as she spoke up loud enough to be heard.
"I believe I already made my intentions clear enough, but I've never backed down from a threat to my homeland, and I'm sure as hell not going to back down to this one. Amuzi, I believe it goes without saying that you have Gensokyo's full support, barring a few... troublesome personalities."

Rivera couldn't help but feel pumped up after Amuzi's speech. "You can count on me to wipe the floor with those louts! No way in Hell I'll let them get away with this!" The big woman's enthusiasm rubbed off on Kirby, who climbed up on Marisa's shoulder to cry out a triumphant "BOIYUUU!!!"
"I cannot forgive them for what they plan to do," declared a young man in heavy, black armor, with a sinister-looking, red crystal sword. "To play with worlds and lives like objects, TOYS... If they think they can treat the ones we love in such a manner, then they deserve the full extent of our wrath!"
"Woah... Someone's a little touchy," Raiga commented.
Far in the back of the crowd, however, were two beings clad in heavy armor. One, a cybernetic samurai in white and black, with a blank, horned mask, and covered in red eyes. His mask was accompanied by a long, silvery plume, and an enormous saya was attached to his back. The other figure was in red and yellow armor, with massive, spherical pauldrons, and an armcannon over his right arm. His round, red helmet had a green visor, offering only the eyes of a hardened warrior. The white one turned away, much to the red one's dull surprise. "I'd thought you of all people would have something to say," the red one commented.
"There is no point in our further presence. The False Goddess can continue to "rally her troops." We already have our assignment, Hunter. Time is of the essence." The red one could only shrug, and then followed after the white one.
