Name: Eldredge
Nickname: "The Ancient"
Age: ? ? ?
Gender: Male
Race: ? ? ?
Appearance: His face is completely hidden under the robe of his dark black robe with silver lining. There is a white cross on the back of his robe, a different symbol at the point of each cross. A wand is at the top point, a coin is to the left, a cup is to the right, and a sword is at the bottom. If anyone were to see his eyes, they would find a deep and deadly shade of blue.
Weapon: The Major Arcana - Greater Secrets: A set of 22 tarot cards said to be extremely powerful. They all have varying abilities, however, all but five were sealed away in a battle with a sorceress with flowing black hair and the ability to multiply her magic... However, they can still be used fortune-telling, and Eldredge is adept at using them in another form of battle. If Eldredge throws them, they can turn into a shimmering blue energy and explode, incinerating everything near them. The card thrown then is magically reformed in his hand no matter what. The list of cards are: The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess, The Empress, The Emperor, The Hierophant, The Lovers, The Chariot, Strength, The Hermit, Wheel of Fortune, Justice, The Hanged Man, Death, Temperance, The Devil, The Tower, The Star, The Moon, The Sun, Judgement, and The World. The abilities of these cards are below. These tarot cards cannot be destroyed except in a ritual made specifically for destroying them.
Sub-weapon: The Minor Arcana - Lesser Secrets: A set of 56 tarot cards divided into four suits of fourteen cards each with ten numbered cards and four court cards. They are used in battle more frequently then the Major Arcana because they are more versatile when Eldredge can not use the majority of his cards. There are four suits, swords, wands, coins, and cups, each having their own base element of air, fire, earth, and water respectively. Eldredge can also through these cards without using their powers, creating a less powerful explosion. However, these explosions can chain depending on how many were thrown. When Eldredge uses a certain card, the effect is activated, which is listed below. When Eldredge uses a card or throws it, it returns to his hand no matter what.
-Swords - Air Cutter: When Eldredge activates a tarot card with a sword and a numeral on it, the wind condenses in front of him to create a sword made of wind. The higher numeral, the more swords are created. For instance, the tarot card with the 10 of Swords on it would create 10 swords of wind. These multiple swords fire at the foe and can slash through skin, but not severally wound a foe. The court cards (ex: Page, Jack, Queen, King) create singular swords that are far more penetrating. Page is the least penetrating, yet can still slightly cut into a foe, while the King is the most penetrating, allowing it to pierce through entire bodies. Court cards take more energy to wield, starting from Page to King.
-Wands - Fire Starter: When Eldredge activates a tarot card with a wand and a numeral on it, a wand is made in front of him. The higher numeral, the more wands are created. For instance, the tarot card with the 10 of Wands on it would create 10 wands. The wands set a deluge of fire around them, burning everyone near the wands severally. The more wands, the more area is covered by the flames. However, these multiple wands can only create flames around them. The court cards (ex: Page, Jack, Queen, King) create singular wands that can also fire blasts of concentrated flame in addition to making fire swirl around them. Page makes the smallest blasts, while the King makes the largest, allowing it to melt solid steel. Court cards take more energy to wield, starting from Page to King.
-Coins - Earth Shaker: When Eldredge activates a tarot card with a coin and a numeral on it, a coin is made in front of him. The higher numeral, the more coins are created. For instance, the tarot card with the 10 of Coins on it would create 10 coins. The coins are quickly made from the card, then flip into the earth and meld into it, where they can create a stalagmite. The more coins, the more stalagmites and earth structures are made. However, these coins can only create a single earth structure. The court cards (ex: Page, Jack, Queen, King) create singular coins that can also flip into the earth and create a mini-earthquake, followed by a deluge of stalagmites from the earth. Page makes the smallest quake and least amount, while the King makes the biggest earthquake and most stalagmites. Court cards take more energy to wield, starting from Page to King.
-Cups - Delusion of Water: When Eldredge activates a tarot card with a cup and a numeral on it, a cup is made in front of him. The higher numeral, the more cups are created. For instance, the tarot card with the 10 of Cups on it would create 10 cups. The cups are quickly made from the card, then tip over quickly, deluging an area with water. The more cups, the more water is created from the cups. However, these cups are worthless in single numbers, and can only go a certain path, making the attack unflexable. The court cards (ex: Page, Jack, Queen, King) create singular, large cups that can also tip over and deluge a much larger area with a larger volume of water. The water can also manipulated unlike the numeral cards, making the attack more flexible. Page makes the smallest amount of water, while the King creates the most, able to flood a large house on it's own.. Court cards take more energy to wield, starting from Page to King.
Personality: Wizened and mysterious beyond reason. He is incredibly intelligent and seems to be a nice person actually... however, there is something extremely unnerving about him.
Element: N/A
Tactics: His tarot cards give him a large amount of variety, allowing him to attack in many ways. He has a remarkable amount of energy for some reason, allowing him to use his Tarot cards with ease.
Abilities:
0 - The Fool: Eldredge throws or activates "0 - The Fool" and it's ability is activated. A large amount of explosions and loud noises appear where The Fool was used, extremely loud and distracting. The explosions are extremely bright as well. However, The Fool cannot damage any target. The Fool is mainly for distractions purposes, yet it used often by Eldredge, proving useful in many situations. It takes almost no energy to use "0 - The Fool".
I - The Magician: Eldredge throws or activates "I - The Magician" and it's ability is activated. A wizened mage in purple robes appears in front of Eldredge, charging and conjuring a large amount of fire in front of him. He fires it in a large horizontal pillar of flames from his hand that can incinerate solid rock. If Eldredge does not have enough energy, "I - The Magician" will simply fire a large fireball at the foe. The mage disappears afterwards back into the card, and the card quickly magically returns to Eldredge's hands. It takes a small amount of energy to use this card.
II - The High Priestess: Eldredge throws or activates "II - The High Priestess" and it's ability is activated. A priestess in shimmering blue robes wearing a cross pendant appears in front of Eldredge, holding onto her pendant and chanting a phrase. As the phrase goes on, the priestess starts to glow with a blue aura that glows brighter and brighter as it goes along. When she finishes her phrase, the blue aura spreads along Eldredge and any ally around her, healing them quickly and giving them a small protection aura. The aura deflects any small to medium projectile. The priestess can keep her "field" up for as long as she wants it, however, keeping it up drains Eldredge's energy quickly. When she is finished healing, the priestess goes back into the card, and the card quickly magically returns to Eldredge's hands. It takes a small amount of energy to use this card, but not maintain it.
XV - The Devil: Eldredge throws or activates "XV - The Devil" and it's ability is activated. A monster with long horns and blue fire coating it appears in front of Eldredge, roaring and shaking the earth to show it's strength. It stomps the earth with incredible strength, opening a huge fissure underneath it's foe. A torrent of blue fire spews from the fissure, and spirits rise up from it and pull anybody near it down. If a target falls on the hole they are completely incinerated by the blue flames as the fissure slowly closes. After the attack, "XV - The Devil" returns to the card, and the card quickly magically returns to Eldredge's hands. It takes a moderate amount of energy to use this card.
XX - Judgement: Eldredge throws or activates "XX - Judgement" and it's ability is activated. An angel appears in front of Eldredge, white wings opening in front of it as it swings it's sword in one direction. A flurry of white feathers suddenly obscure any vision from seeing the angel, then the feathers suddenly fly at a target. The feathers explode with holy energy as they impact, covering an entire area with huge explosions. The explosions chain up and instantly incinerate any target, particularly enemies with a "Dark/Evil" element or evil intentions. After the attack, "XX - Judgement" returns to the card, and the card quickly magically returns to Eldredge's hands. When it returns, it slightly covers a small area with a blue aura, slightly healing them. A heavy-duty Tarot card attack that takes a heavy amount of energy.
General Weaknesses: Can't really fight without his cards. Currently, he lost his melee Tarot cards, making him rather weak in that area.
