So yeah, I thought it would be interesting having an RP Tournament thread. It's meant to kill off some time and to be fun and challenging at the same time. This thread here is to map it out as well as to take in suggestion to change a few things if need be. Also depending if others agree, whoever wins the tournament will get an item that can be used in one (Only one) other RP thread. Details will be later discussed. So please, feel free to comment and suggest ideas. Although incomplete, hopefully we can get this tourney going sometime soon! =D

Okay, now it's time to show how this system works.
------------------------------
Attack
------------------------------
First, lets talk about attack. Damage isn't solely based on strength; it also takes agility and luck into account. Depending on a person's luck, it will be added to strength by the luck percentage being multiplied by the randomized number of strength added with the randomized strength. For example.
P1 P2
-------------------------------------------------
Hp: 5400--------------------------------Hp: 3000
MP: 375----------------------------------Mp: 600
AP: 72------------------------------------Ap: 90
Agility: 72------------------------------Agility: 89
Strength: 500(ATK)-----------------Strength: 700(ATK)
Magic Attack: 500(MATK)--------Magic Attack: 800(MATK)
Defense: 700(DEF)-------------------Defense: 400(DEF)
Magic Defense: 400(MDEF)------ Magic Defense: 700(MDEF)
Luck: 21(LK)----------------------------Luck: 67(LK)
Randomized number: 74(P1)[0-500] - 45(P2) [0-700]
Luck will then be turned into a percentage. In P1's case, it'd turn out to be (.21) and in P2's case it'd turn into (.67). So the maximum damage P1 can deal in this turn would be (89.54)DMG and P2's would turn out to be (75.15)DMG. To save the trouble of having decimals, we'll round up to the nearest whole number. So this would change P1's Damage to (90)DMG and P2's to (75)
DMG.
------------------------------
Magic Attack
------------------------------
Basically the same system as regular ATK, but instead its MATK
P1 Example: 250MATK[0-500] x .21 = 302.5MATK Round up: 303MATK
P2 Example: 52MATK[0-800] x .67 = 86.84MATK Round up: 87MATK
------------------------------
Defense
------------------------------
Now with that out of the way, we move on to Defense. Defense will be used in the same way strength was used. However, defense wont be randomized and will stay at the max so in this case, P1's defense will always be at (700) while P2's will
always be at (400). Luck will also contribute to the defense. As with Strength of the attack, the percentage of luck will be
multiplied with the defense and added to the total defense. However, the luck percentage will not be the max luck that the player has. It will also be randomized (Only for the person who is receiving the attack); for example.
Luck Randomization: P1: 17(0-21) P2: 45(0-67)
P1's DEF: 700DEF + (700DEF x .17LK%) = 819DEF
P2's DEF: 400DEF + (400DEF x .45LK%) = 580DEF
------------------------------
Magic Defense
------------------------------
Same system as regular DEF, but instead its MDEF
Luck Randomization: P1: 20(0-21) P2: 34(0-67)
P1 Example: MDEF: 400MDEF + (400MDEF x .20LK%) = 420MDEF
P2 Example: MDEF: 700MDEF + (700MDEF x .34LK%) = 938MDEF
------------------------------
Damage
------------------------------
Now we will show what will happen to both P1 and P2 if they did the attacks to each other.
(P1 receiving damage from P2) (75ATK - [.819DEF% x 75ATK]) = 13.575DMG From there: 5400Hp-14DMG = 5386Hp
(P2 receiving damage from P1) (90ATK - [.580DEF% x 90ATK]) = 37.8DMG From there: 3000Hp-38DMG = 2962Hp
------------------------------
Magic Damage
------------------------------
Same system as regular damage.
(P1 receiving damage from P2) (303MATK - [.420MDEF% x 303MATK]) = 175.74DMG Round: 176DMG From there: 5400Hp-176DMG = 5224Hp
(P2 receiving damage from P1) (87MATK - [.938MDEF% x 87MATK]) = 5.39DMG Round: 5DMG From there: 3000Hp-5DMG = 2995Hp
------------------------------
Evade
------------------------------
Depending on Agility, some attacks can be dodged given that your agility and luck provide you the means to do so. How evasion works is based on the random number of agility and the random number of luck times each other. Whichever is the greater value and 150% or more than the losing Evasion Point, that person may evade the attack completely. However, if the greater valued Evasion Point is lower than 150% but greater than 100% of the losing Evasion Point, they will still get hit, but they will be able to take 5% off from the damage they were supposed to receive. Any lower than 100% will mean that evasion failed and the character receiving the attack will be damaged. If the character receiving damage has less than 50% of the opposing Evasion Point the character will suffer 5% more damage than the character would originally be dealt. For example.
Agility Randomization: P1: 54(0-72) P2: 23(0-89)
Luck Randomization: P1: 17(0-21) P2: 45(0-67)
P1's Evasion Point: 918
P2's Evasion Point: 765
If P1 was being attacked, he/she would still be attacked, but he/she would be able to take off 5% of the damage he/she was
dealt. If it was P2 being attacked, he/she would be attacked with no bonus for or against him/her.

So instead on numbers, I'll give you the formulas.
Attack Damage: (ATK% x Lk%) = New ATK
Defense: DEF + (DEF x LK%) = New DEF
Damage: New ATK - (New DEF% x New ATK) = DMG
Magic Attack Damage: (MATK% x Lk%) = New MATK
Magic Defense: MDEF + (MDEF x LK%) = New DEF
Magic Damage: New MATK - (New MDEF% x New MATK) = DMG
Damage Taken: P(1 or 2)HP - DMG = New HP
