To his back, a clean hit; Drago had made no attempt to dodge the blow coming at his back, despite the intent. Solid ground made it quite hard to sneak up on someone, the sounds of two distinct heavy feet coming from where the two swordsfolk had been. A vicious grin broke out on Drago's face as the sword hit his skin, a sadistic response as the giant's hands slid into his pockets.
The giant grew taller, standing to his full height while extending his arms in glory of the fight about to unfold, a messiah to the battle in his element. A roar of pleasure bellowed out from the depths of his core, a battlecry to rattle any who would oppose the beast. And as quickly as the first had struck, Drago had to respond to the second soul who had gathered the courage to actually take the brute down.
Spinning in a 180 motion, a fist fast as lightning struck Veronica's blade head on, striking with the force of a truck. The brass knuckles adorning his right fist struck the blade with the full weight of the beast behind it. After all, if there's one mistake anyone could make, it would be to take on a boxer's fist.

Veronica's green eyes widened at Drago's counterattack. "He struck the blade head-on? And-" The woman found herself being dragged with her blade as it was parried to the side. "-it actually WORKED?!" The frown on her face quickly turned back into a smile. This guy was actually as strong as he looked! He took the wolfen boy's attack like it did nothing at all. Veronica's body filled with adrenaline as she went along with the force from Drago's strike, spinning and unsheathing her second blade, performing another horizontal slash as her body moved.

Vydunas retracted his blade from the first slash that he did; for a test of the waters, it worked rather well and he didn't lose any energy from it. Blood fluttered in petals from where the slash landed and quickly dissipated. The boxer was clearly no pushover; however, for someone of his stature, he had to think just a little bit. "He's going to have to work to hit me. In the meantime, I'm going to move away from his fists."
With an equally fast reaction that mirrored the reflexes of the boxer's punch, Vydunas shuffled around the right ribcage where the boxer's body motion twisted the most and reached a standstill. Near the opposing end of his fist, Vydunas landed another instantaneous slash around the boxer's exposed flesh.

"L-Listen... to me..." The priest struggled to get out, weakly muttering as he began coughing again. Ugh... this had been one of his more painful attacks in a long time. Sighing as he glanced at the group exchange blades, he realized they wouldn't pay any attention to him, deciding to take a seat on a bench next to the fountain to rest his legs. On his back, a massive gleaming broadsword was tied with a string diagonally, which he took off and laid across his lap gently.
"...I wasn't expecting a street fight when I first got here." He muttered to himself, looking at the group exchange blows.
(They look strong... if only I could join them.) A mysterious voice resonated inside of his head, laced with a plethora of irritation and disappointment. The priest frowned, shaking his head, as he continued speaking to himself.
"Ah... you know we can't do that. Unless you can find someone to take off this thing for you that is." The young man seemingly to himself with a smile, shaking his head as if chastising someone.

With both feet firmly on the ground from the counter punch against the woman, Drago waited as both foes began their next phase of attack. It was time to switch targets slightly, the brute pushing off the ground hard with his left leg. With his momentum slowed by the impact on the woman a second before, Drago was able to convert his momentum towards his other aggressor.
Taking a shallow blow by twisting his body as the wolfen's blade slashed Drago's side, the giant brought his left knee up with a burst from the ground within Vydunas' guard. As the Wolfen recovered from the slash, he would have no way of defending with his blade against a close quarters blow in his guard as fast as Drago's explosive knee.
Drago had already given the wolfen one clean blow, he would allow Veronica a clean hit against the left side of his large, lower back. After this, the kindness would end from Drago.

Vindictus: Main Road
The day before the festival and already hell was breaking loose at the Memorial Square. The civilians' commotion about what was taking place in that area hasn't made its way to the main road yet. Instead, commotions about the festival decorations were taking place. Vindictus was in preparation of such a grand festival tomorrow that even tourists would soon be aware of such a thing. Buildings were decorated with embellishments here and there and roads were bustling with activity.
There was slight traffic on the road. The main reason was the festival, but another reason was the appearance of an unfamiliar beige onion-shaped cabin. A beautiful thing to behold at first glance and anyone with a head on their shoulders would obviously know it belonged to someone rich. The steeds that pulled this wagon were pearl-white horses, a rare sight to see with such a spotless coat without a speck of dust. In front of the cabin were a march of armored knighted guards clad in green and gold armor.
Inside the cabin were a boy and an elderly man. The boy appeared to look like from something of a fairy tale. He was young, short, and doll-like in stature. His regal attire adorned his figure and his crown of jade rested naturally on his head. Beside him was a man who donned a suit of matching colors of the wagon. His short hair was creamy white and fixated just to appear as formal and awkward as the boy's doll-like features.
"Tomorrow will be the coronation ceremony, Your Majesty. Like many others, this town will be added to the Regalia Empire. It is truly a blessing in its own right."
The man said in such calm anticipation for tomorrow. In contrast to his mellow excitement, the young boy let out a sigh."
"But it is one of many places I must rule, Manilla. If I am to be the World's King, I must take over everything I can before then. Before that happens."
There was a slight hesitation in the boy's voice. His expression had a small bit of anxiety when he spoke those words. This was the first time that he had to go through such a task.
Before he could think anymore, there was a rustle and bustle among the civilians. The boy looked out of the side opening of his wagon, overhearing a conversation explaining the current events:
"Hey! You have to check this out! Drago's getting into another fight!"
"What? Again? The guy just doesn't stop!"
"Yeah but he's fighting some wolf guy and a girl! I never seen people like wolfmen before! Oh! And he's got a sword too!"
Before the wagon got close to the Memorial Square, the elderly man Manilla made a gesture for the driver to stop the wagon. A guard approached the open window after noticing the sudden stop. "Make sure to see what is going on at the Memorial Square. "I will not tolerate any sort of misbehavior in front of the Prince!"
The guard nodded at the man's words and made a hand gesture to signal his comrades in going to the Memorial Square. Those that dare caused a disruption before the festival was ready to receive a rude awakening.

The motion of Drago's knee was synchronized with the sheathing and subsequent guard that Vydunas generated with his katana. His body had mustered enough flexibility since his feet stopped their forward motion upon Metus's slash being unleashed. Vydunas kicked his body back and mitigated the impact of the knee, which instead of striking Vydunas upward by the kneecap, instead relegating the impact to Drago's downward-sloping ankle.
The ankle caused Vydunas to skid back upon motion and endure a less tempered blow to his side. Vydunas took the liberty of sheathing his blade and taking advantage of the blow he already dealt to the giant boxer. Was he an MMA fighter or a boxer? Vydunas honestly didn't know or care at this point.
He did know his next course of action though. Vydunas unsheathed his sword by about a foot and released four blood-red discs around him, sheathing the blade back. He then ran at vulpine agility along Drago's other side and gradually vanished as he reached his front end.

Veronica's right blade cut into Drago's side. She was able to tell he allowed her to strike him though, as he could have easily attacked both she and the wolfen boy simultaneously. This didn't stop her smile from growing wider as some of the brute's blood splattered onto her face. It was an...intoxicating aroma...a wonderful feeling, the warm lifewater seeping down her face. She had missed it.
Despite the pleasure she gained from striking a successful blow, she kept her head in the game and decided to capitalize on the opportunity. She swung her second blade, still keeping her first one in Drago's side, slashing down at the man's legs.

"A-Ahhhhhh...!" The young man gave a sudden start as his eyes widened, cold, brisk water hitting the back of his neck, trickling down his robes. Turning around, his eyes widened as his eyes looked over empty air.
"Weird... I could have sworn someone was behind me, right, inner?" He muttered to himself, scratching the top of his head as he looked at the fountain. (Just your imagination. Probably someone throwing a coin in.)
Despite this, Max had a inkling of curiosity in him that told him to look in the huge fountain, the priest turning around and bending his head down to look down in the water. Unfortunately, just as he looked down, he was beset with another coughing attack, the young priest coughing sporadically straight into the water.

Underneath the water's surface, was a girl who looked like she was sound asleep. Her top half was human, with long reddish-pink hair that flowed with the water, and a brown leather shirt on her top half. Her bottom half however...
A huge splay of tentacles split off from her hips down, all of which curled every which way, seemingly of their own volition. It was a wonder how anyone had missed her, but the base of the fountain was pretty deep, actually. It seemed to be impacted a bit below the surface of the street, infact. The priest's coughing fit, however, had been loud and noisy enough to wake the strange octopus girl up.
She stretched, putting on a pair of glasses, and righted herself, just enough that her head broke the surface of the water.
" .... nng... that was a nice nap..." The girl muttered to herself, seeming pleased about it, before she turned her odd yellow and blue eyes on the priest.
"... hmm? Was that you coughing?" Her voice wasn't one of someone annoyed about being woken up, but there was a small hint of genuine concern in it. It was a rare thing to see, but there it was.

Drago was getting into an unfavorable position here. Rule 1 of any fight; always have your enemies in front of you. To have one on each side of Drago put him at a tactical disadvantage, and he would need to rectify that. Drago began a spinning motion, using his left hand to pull the blade from his flesh as his back twisted with the rest of his body. As the motion continued his right arm extended, and using his huge right hand, grabbed Veronica's head before the downward blow completed.
As the lariat continued, Drago now pulling the woman's body through the air with sufficient force, he let the woman go, sending her flying at the wolfen who thought he'd be craftily out of Drago's range. His enemies now in one direction, Drago began moving his back towards the fountain, providing an approach his current enemies would be unable to use on Drago's back.

Was this brawler serious? Attempting to throw a person at Vydunas in lariat motion? It was convincing to say that Drago was pulling out all of the stops to break Vydunas's velocity. But it was already too late. The lupine swordsman, who already escaped Vydunas's range, diverged inward and lowered his stature in such a way that the boxer's throw from high upward would've missed by at least a foot. Vydunas emerged far out in front of where the boxer was positioned; at that point, his vanishing act came full circle and he disappeared for all of a minute.
"Gotta give this guy credit; he doesn't fuck around. I'm going to have to play equally as dirty, though."
The biggest mistake of a towering tornado is not being able to move away from the eye of the storm. The motion the boxer was generating from the lariat would not be able to move anywhere but in a circle. That being said, Vydunas reappeared within a moment's thought and discs converged back to him at seemingly bullet speed; at the rate they were going, the discs would basically slice straight through the boxer's waist with little to no chance of rebuttal.

Vindictus ~ Memorial Square
Prompt as usual, the Regalia Royal Knights stormed into the Memorial Square, noticing the civilians' chaos and confusion beforehand at the scuffle. Some were commanding civilians to move away, others braced the hilt of their weapons in an intimidating fashion as an act of warning against further misbehavior. Amongst the formality of the knights, one knight in particular lazily walked forward in stride. He shrugged his shoulders, noticing the view and immediately realized a couple of disturbances. Three people were fighting; a wolfman and a lunatic girl against some ruffian. Hell, it looked like there was something in the fountain too, but the center guard didn't care.
In fact, this guard was taking part of the festivities. He already let himself loose on the booze and he was as drunk as a skunk. Like the rest of the guards, he was clad in green and gold armor. The only difference was that there was a red feather on his helm. He already had his hand on his sword hilt, and was about to speak till someone randomly bumped into him. The guard exploded in a fit of rage.
"Hey! Watcch....wer'...u gon ...LITTLE SHIT! Phuuuking.....PRICK!"
The guard made a gesture of unsheathing his sword and as a response, the man that bumped into the guard ran away. Annoyed, the guard spat on the ground and then looked at his fellow guards. "Veryone! Watchu-waddin fer! Appehen...*hic* these idiots!"
Instead of listening to the drunk guard, the other guards slowly gathered in formation, surrounding the entire center of the attention. Even while they were in mid-combat, the guards in unison unsheathed their swords with great synchronization, making a disturbing noise that only brought silence except for the fight that took place. Their blades had a heavenly glow, almost unnatural. Those swords were not ordinary swords. They were swords that left many of the civilians stumped as to what they were. Those blades appeared ethereal in their composition.
"The three of you halt at once!" The guard exclaimed.
The moment the Regalia Royal Knights received any sort of objection would be the moment they strike. Would Drago, Vydunas, and Veronica step down or would they stupidly risk their own lives.

Veronica went flying over the army of guards currently boxing in the fight, crashing into the marble statue in the center of the fountain. The statue crumbled from the impact and its pieces, along with the raven-haired woman, fell into the water. She felt the cool blue water engulf her as she fell in. It was considerably deeper than she had thought. She could have easily gotten herself back in the hair by fully standing, but was currently lying face-up at the bottom of the fountain. Veronica held her breath as she rubbed the back of her head. She was certainly capable of taking much more punishment than a normal human, but she wasn't immune to pain. At least, not right now. Crashing into that damned statue hurt rather badly, but didn't do any serious damage.
Drago's blood began to wash off Veronica's face as she lay in the water. She was somewhat annoyed at this but chose to ignore it and get back into the fight as soon as possible. Her thirst for violence was not yet quenched. As she lifted her head, ready to stand back up, she saw something...odd.
Tentacles. Several long, thick, tentacles. This surprised Veronica and she raised an eyebrow in confusion. She stood up, bringing her upper half out of the water, and traced the tentacles with her eyes, stopping at their source. They were connected to a girl...who was currently talking to a very sickly man. When did these two get here? Her large green eyes moved back towards the battle only to see a massive group of guards surrounding it, while a smaller group began to surround the fountain. On top of that, when did all of these guys get here?

The scyllan girl yelped slightly as one of the pieces of the statue clonked her on the head. She winced, only opening one eye to look around at what was going on, like the situation with the brawler and the odd wolfen swordsman, and the guards surrounding the area.
"O-Ow... what the heck is going on here? Jeez, what kind of nutjobs would start a fight right before the festival.... and where did these guards come from?" She rubbed her head with one hand, leaning on the edge of the fountain with the other. She kept her lower body hidden regardless; it would be easier to explain when people were more calm, right? The scyllan girl hoped that was the case, anyways.
