Nope, it's supposed to be nostalgic. An RP thread before there were all of these rules and where you can think up something on the fly.

Then let's mindlessly make this an RP.

...You know... nostalgic or not, I'd be fine with this.
On another note, by the time I've been away, everyone's probably been sick of waiting for my posts and characters. Apologies everyone. I do believe I need a fresh start now, if everyone is still RPing of course.

Name: Vydunas Kievu Age: 22 Race: Wolfen Class: Myrmidon Appearance: White-furred anthropomorphic wolf. Red markings encircle his right eye and the top converges and reaches out to his forehead. Black kimono with patterns of a red serpent along the lower waist of the garb. Bare footed. Ankles are steadied and protected by cloth wraps. One arm is protected by the robe's sleeve but his sword-wielding arm is exposed. Personality: Extremely lax. Only complies with the blade's demands when his health is at risk(which is usually when he detects something hostile). Likes having conversations with people whenever possible. Weapon: Metus: Vydunas's katana is rather basic in composition. Metus is roughly over three feet long and made of a fine steel material. Its blade has been curved to favor the sharp end of the blade. Fragrant, dark red blood is dried onto various parts of the blade in the pattern of a serpent. Microscopic razors align along the sharp end of the katana, allowing the blood to flow more freely and profusely. The hand guard was removed from the blade to allow for the blade to be more free-flowing and lightweight, and also makes it easier to switch between Vydunas's ambidextrous hands. Instead of the hand guard, a bloody cloth hides Vydunas's hands and provides the handle with a more safe grip. The hilt of the blade is encased by large white bandages that ease the constant grip Vydunas has on the blade. The sheath that conceals the blade is made of obsidian, providing a sturdy but lightweight alternative to a typical wooden or plastic sheath. Unfortunately, Metus was cursed from its previous wielder and when it was retrieved by Vydunas in the past, it subdued Vydunas under its curse of extreme bloodlust. Its curse is further detailed below. Abilities: Metus's Curse ~Bloodletting: Metus is an unusual weapon that, despite the generic craft of the actual blade, is cursed with an insatiable bloodlust. In battle, its bloodlust manifests into an ability to draw out the opponent's life force in exchange for some of Vydunas's energy. Each successful blow landed by Metus on a foe will let out a beautiful cluster of cherry blossoms made of blood, seamlessly flowing out the back of an opponent and quickly dissipating as they flutter into the air. These cherry blossoms actually represent the foe's life force being reaped from their bodies from the blow of Metus; it is not their actual blood, although the opponent will probably still bleed from being struck by the blade. Each successive turn that Metus lands will drain about .5 liters of life force from the opponent's body and replenish Vydunas along with the weapon. Each turn that Metus does not impact the opponent, this number will grow exponentially in the turn that it does hit. Turn 2: 1 liter Turn 3: 2 liters Turn 4: 4 liters - reduces opponent's consciousness; dulls opponent's senses Turn 5: 6 liters - renders opponent unconscious; fatal for weak opponents Although it seems easy for Vydunas to accrue the blade's bloodlust, passivity comes at a devastating price. With each turn that Vydunas does not attack, Metus will draw more energy out of Vydunas to compensate for the blood that wasn't drawn from the opponent. Vyduna's body will continue to acclimate until it complies with the blade's desires. If Vydunas does not attack the opponent by turn 5, he will basically lose consciousness and potentially die if exhausted enough by battle. Since the blood letted by Metus is a projection of the opponent's life force, it will affect all organic opponents, but its effects limited with inorganic opponents. Outside of battle, Metus itself concedes with keeping Vydunas alive until it detects a worthy opponent. Metus ~ Lotus Reaver: Vydunas tosses four razor-sharp blood red discs of energy outward around him, and begins to slowly disappear as he walks in a certain direction. As Metus is in motion, the discs levitate motionlessly above the ground. After walking roughly five feet, he will become completely invisible and phase through opponents and objects. Within a few seconds, Vydunas will then reappear where he stopped and the discs will converge back to him at bullet speed, tearing through anything in their path. Once reappeared, Vydunas can move again, although the blades will still converge back to him. The usage of this ability largely depends onVydunas's ability to land successful blows with Metus; if Metus cannot attain life force from the opponent, the ability cannot be used. Lupine Bloodmoon: The spirit of Metus's bloodlust has created a symbiotic bond with Vydunas's lupine blood. Lupine is capable of tapping into the power vested in Metus to summon an artificial crimson moon that empowers Vydunas throughout its duration. Little does the curse know that evoking this moon will nullify the curse's effects and prevent Vydunas's life force from being drained once the moon is evoked; however, it runs along the same cycle as Vydunas's curse and will affect him in other negative ways should he misuse the crimson moon. As long as the crimson moon is present, the arena will impart a degenerating effect to all allies and opponents excluding Vydunas himself; the moon will sap the strength of all other fighters. The arena will reach extraordinarily cold temperatures, drain energy, and cause gradual pain to the foe upon exposure. The magnitude of these effects vary with the phases of the crimson moon: Phase 1: Waxing Crescent Bloodmoon Phase 2: Waxing Gibbous Bloodmoon Phase 3: Full Bloodmoon Phase 4: Waning Gibbous Bloodmoon Phase 5: Waning Crescent Bloodmoon During the Crescent phases, the area effects of the bloodmoon are a minor pestilence to other fighters. During the Gibbous phases, the area effects will actually begin to disorient all fighters except Vydunas himself. During the Full Bloodmoon, all fighters except Vydunas experience numbing pain. The drawbacks of evoking this moon slowly reveal itself as the moon waxes and wanes. Although Vydunas is immune to the curse of Metus in the first phase, each phase slowly releases the effects of the curse. By the Full Bloodmoon, the curse's effect are intact once again, and after the Waning Bloodmoon, the curse will revolt back at Vydunas and eat away at his consciousness no matter what unless the opponent is defeated. The purpose of summoning the bloodmoon is to slant the arena in Vydunas's favor such that he can distract both his weapon's curse AND the opponent, but if he fails at both, he puts himself in danger. Name: Veronica Sienna Age: 20 Race: Human Class: Berserker
Appearance: Veronica has long black hair, ending just above her waist. It's neatly smoothed back save for two strands that insist on being in her face. Her skin is pale and she wears heavy eyeliner and eye shadow, while her eyes themselves are a very bright green. She wears a knee-length dress which is primarily black. There are red marks on the puffy shoulders which converge at a point on her waist, although this point isn't visible due to her having a long, red, flowing sash wrapped around it. The point leads into a large triangle of red that covers the majority of the bottom half of the dress. Veronica wears arm-length black gloves with three small straps on each, along with black and red leggings. Her shoes are, of course, black. Finally, Veronica has two criss-crossing sheaths on her back, which contain her Devil Blades.
Personality: Veronica is an independent yet often cold and sarcastic woman. She appreciates a good joke every so often, but her sense of humor is rather...complicated, so most attempts to joke with her fall flat. She cares mainly about herself and usually chooses to ignore others unless there's a chance it will actually benefit her. Since she is so used to looking out for only herself and rarely others, she's not used to fighting alongside others. This means she will most likely be a poor teammate during combat, especially since her fighting style is very unorthodox and all over the place. Her style disregards collateral damage whether it be inanimate objects or people. However despite what Veronica's combat style may imply, she actually does not get angry easily. She can engage in a heated argument for quite some time, but if her limit is reached and she does snap, she becomes a raging psychopath. Her rage often goes away with time, but the fastest it can fade is if she kills her agitator.
Veronica has a distinct belief that people should always show who they truly are and not be ashamed of it. This is why she has little restraint of her emotions and her violent tendencies. She pities those who pretend to be something they're not out of fear of being judged by others and this can, sometimes, lead to her actually being compassionate towards those people in an attempt to help them get over it. Veronica is also not above using her feminine wiles to manipulate others. However, she rarely lets people actually touch her skin and reacts viciously to those who do.
Weapon: Devil Blades - Two four-foot silver blades. The blades themselves are shaped like giant knives, while the handles are similar to a saw's handle. The blades are black with red markings spiraling around them. They have no special effect when striking someone, but they are extremely durable, lightweight, and having powerful cutting/piercing strength. They are also good for parrying attacks.
Subweapon: Crimson Shade - Veronica's black and red dress. It has the ability to seep below her feet, turning into a solid blood-red shadow, and slashing enemies at a far range. However, it can only travel up to thirty feet. The shadow is also capable of being used to defend against energy and solid projectiles by rising and hardening in front of Veronica, becoming as hard as steel. Anything capable of piercing this metal, however, will get through the shield. The Crimson Shade can only be used this way within three feet of Veronica, making defending others from a distance impossible. This can be used in the air, which means Veronica can make platforms in midair.
Abilities: Unrestrained Body - Veronica's body is considerably stronger than the normal human. She has enough physical strength to crush stones with her bare hands and enough durability to survive being struck by a car with mere bruises and cuts.
The Devil's Mind - Veronica's Devil Blades glow red and are capable of sending out powerful waves of energy. These waves, however, have practically no cutting power and deal blunt damage. However, this blunt impact is rather powerful and can easily shatter the bones of the average human. This means these red waves can do considerable damage to otherworldly creatures. The blades are only in this mode for a limited time however (4 posts) but their energy supply is incredible, making a barrage of energy waves very possible.
Shattered Psyche - This can activate either when Veronica snaps due to extreme emotional stress or when she is near death. Her entire body, clothing included, turns completely black while her hair turns completely white. Her beautiful eyes turned pure red and drip blood-like energy, creating red trails down her cheek. Her hands become clawed and a large aura envelopes her, turning everything within it gray scale. The aura has no actual effect besides this visual one. During this form Veronica is practically insane and lashes out at anyone who threatens her. Her physical abilities are increased drastically and she is able to ignore pain save for the most devastating of injuries. Surprisingly, she will rarely attack innocent bystanders in this state unless they come too close to her. Veronica can only maintain this form for a limited time (3 posts) and becomes utterly exhausted afterwards, barely capable of standing.
Money: 3,500 Credits Items: Flute. Vehicle: She can use her Crimson Shade as a means of transportation by making a platform in midair and flying. Or walking along with it making a trail a few feet in front of her every step.
Story: Veronica is from the city Platuna, but was actually born elsewhere. It is an average-sized city with a decent population. Or, at least, it was. A few weeks or so before her arrival in Vindictus, Platuna was devastated by an unexplained incident. Its people were slaughtered and several buildings were destroyed, while all the others were severely damaged. Due to the actual damage and brutal nature of the incident it had been assumed there were no survivors. Veronica's continued presence obviously proves that wrong. It is unknown if she has any clues about what happened.

Name: Drago "Bloodhound" Mayorovich Age: 32 Race: Human Class: Boxer Appearance: Drago is a hulking mountain of man, barely obscured by his constant slouch. When standing straight up, Drago stands at 6'7" tall, with the muscle structure of an Olympic level athlete. He is, bluntly, physically overwhelming, a true God among men in terms of physicality. And make no mistake, Drago makes no attempts at hiding his superiority. With short length black hair covering his head and covering most of his face in a trimmed beard, the brute's sun-tanned skin pops more via contrast. His tanned arms are also constantly revealed, his navy blue jacket's sleeves rolled up above his elbows reveal his huge hands and forearms, with the roll secured by a stretch of fabric attached midway up his biceps. The jacket itself covers a gray hoodie- the hood itself sits above the jacket, and can be pulled up on the brute's head in inclement weather-, which in turn rests on a fitted white t-shirt. A pair of blue jeans compliment his every guy attire- despite how non-every guy Drago is- resting on top of a pair of black boots, the sides tucked in under the jeans. The steel toe shows through the tips of the worn boots, with flecks of red permanently adorned to the dulled metal. A black belt also hangs awkwardly from the loops of the jeans, clearly securing the clothing while not being rethreaded through the the loops, leaving one end of the worn leather drooping down his left leg. Personality: Drago is a pure bred streetfighter, but hides it when not in a fight. Not because he's trying to appear more deep or intelligent; just that when Drago isn't pounding someone's face in, he grows bored with the world. Drago is observant of the world around him, hungry for a fight and looking for a potential aggressor. He doesn't stop to smell the roses, because frankly, that's time not spent punching someone. Drago has a reserved personality when having to talk, but if someone can get him into a fight, he becomes loud, boisterous and a tremendous force for his allies. Of course, the problem is, the only allies he has are either people who have proven themselves worthy of a rematch, or people who promise Drago strong opponents. The weak only remain his allies if they can follow up on their promise in a sufficient time frame. Wait too long, and Drago will lose all faith in them, and proceed to take his depression out on the former ally. There is no soft side to this brute; women, children, the elderly, all are equal to a heavily armored foe should they cause Drago to snap. Crying children have been warned. Weapon: Brass Knuckles - Nothing special. Just doubles the force of his punches. Abilities: Slow Start- At a standard glance, this ability would seem to be a transformation ability, taking someone and making them more vicious and powerful. However, that is the exact opposite of Slow Start; Drago simply takes time to find interest against an unproven opponent. Once first blood has been drawn- either by or on Drago- he gets pumped up. The nickname "Bloodhound" is actually derived from this, as it is Drago's constant nose for blood that turns him to action. Drago's posture straightens up as compared to his general slouch, he becomes significantly more aggressive externally, and causes Drago to slip his brass knuckles on. Rather than his more lazy dodging style, Drago becomes the brutal aggressor in a fight, constantly chasing the opponent down to pummel with a series of intense punches, blazing kicks and devastating grabs. To be brief, it takes a slouching, lackadaisical mound of muscle and turns it into an aggression machine with a slight bit of blood. Money: LULZ doesn't matter Items: Brass Knuckles Vehicle: His legs. Is there something wrong with walking? Story: Nope. Theme Song: *sets collection on Random* www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSGI7_rSMps

Name: Victorio Regalia Age: 15 Race: Human Class: Prince
Appearance: Victorio looks like a prince from one those fancy fairy tales that many people think of him as such at a first glance. What compliments that impression is his small and petite stature, pearl-white skin, and facial features like his round cheeks, hair, and eyes. In regards to his up-close features, Victorio has short curly honey-brown hair, tidied up to make it look more "doll-ish" with the evident large fringe of hair curling down past his forehead. Another peculiar feature is Victorio's somehow abnormally large bright blue eyes. Victorio also has a little mole spot on the left side of his round face cheek.
When it comes to his attire, there's no doubt that Victorio's clothing is chosen from the finest of the Regalia wardrobe. He carries the three treasures of his family at all times; often wearing a crown of jade, carrying a shield of sapphire on his back, and a sheathed sword of ruby hoisted on his waist. In terms of clothing, Victorio wears a white frilled shirt with a cravat collar and over that he wears a dark green jacket decorated with golden buttons and other embellishments. He wears white slacks and for footwear, long brown boots up to his knees.
Personality: ? Weapon(s):
Trinity of the World's King: Victorio was given 3 treasures that were prophesied to grant him the status of being the world's king. Each artifact gives Victorio a specific ability during a combat and it is said that only those of the Regalia bloodline can harness their power to the fullest. These artifacts were once Victorio's family members and now their souls are crystallized into these holy artifacts.
1st Royal Artifact : "Jade Crown - The Ruler's Authority": A crown of pure jade, crystallizing the soul of King Regalia. This holy artifact bestows wisdom to Victorio, granting him the knowledge of the Regalia family magic. This magic is known as "Authority" and it is said that it was used to dominate other kingdoms that the Regalia family faced. "Authority" is basically a "negation" spell issued by the command of Prince Victorio. If faced against a magical power (anything generated through the use of Mana/Prana at its source other than the Regalia's power), Victorio can negate it with an objection. In summary, Victorio's command causes the crown to emit an anti-magic field.
2nd Royal Artifact: "Sapphire Shield - The Ruler's Defense":A shield of pure sapphire, crystallizing the soul of Queen Regalia. This shield is enchanted with the power of fortification. What this means is that Victorio's shield is durable enough to protect him from the strongest of physical or magical forces through enchantment without breaking or shattering. Records of the Regalia family using this power has confirmed that it can even defend against huge catapulted boulders, causing them to shatter.
3rd Royal Artifact: "Ruby Sword - The Ruler's Might": A sword of pure ruby; crystallizing the soul of an unknown knight who was said to have traversed from another kingdom. This sword is enchanted with the power to slash through substances with a plasma-like heat. Anything that receives a slash from this sword will feel immense heat, and then a sudden "freeze" as if they were struck with a blizzard.
Money: 10000 currency (what's the point of this again?)
Items: Victoria's charm; Flag of Regalia Empire.
Vehicle: Sometimes uses chariot or rides on horseback.
