The black minotaur was struck by the lightning and, while not enough to kill it, it lost its balance as it ran. The beast tripped forward, going over Kazuya. However, this did not mean his electrical uppercut missed. It just missed the demon's jaw and hit its stomach instead. More lightning surged throughout its body and it went into the air, flying towards the catgirl with the azure blade.
"...Unexpected, but perfect." She said as she swung her blade upwards, creating a trail of tall icicles several feet ahead. The demonic minotaur landed right on the tallest ones, its chest pierced while its head was pierced by the other. Its body went completely limp as it slowly began to deteriorate into black dust.
As the beast lay impaled and dead, the catgirl looked around at the unfamiliar people; her eyes staying on Kazuya for a brief moment longer than the others. She then cleared her throat loudly and awkwardly said: "So...yeah... Thanks for the help, people-I-don't-know."
Meanwhile, Johnson had listened to the tall woman's order and was now lying on his back. He sighed in relief when he saw the minotaur get completely and utterly demolished. "Well...that went way better than I thought it would." He then looked at the woman again, waiting for her to get started treating his arm.

The tall woman looked down as she watched the minotaur get gangraped in seconds, and let out a sigh of relief. "Well, if that thing went down so fast, then he couldn't have been too fun to fight." She sat down behind Johnson's head, and folded her legs.
"Alright, now pick something to focus your eyes, like a star, or... well I guess that's all there is above us right now. Whatever. Focus your eyes on a star, or close your eyes, whichever you feel more comfortable with." She then placed her fingers on his neck just below his jawline, before tracing a path up in front of his ears to his temples, and back down his neck again.
"Now tell me about the happiest memory you have while I work. It'll help." As a sense of security and comfort began to overcome Johnson, she glided her hands across his chest, before bringing one hand over his shoulder, and down his injured arm. It felt as if the blood in his arm was magnetically attracted to her hand as she tried to mend the damaged flesh.

Yu exhaled slightly as the massive, serpentine dragon hovered over their heads. He turned his head to the catgirl as she mentioned that she didn't know their names. While he couldn't speak for the pugilist with the strange hair, or the taller woman, he could at least speak for himself.
"Yu Narukami. You're welcome." Yu didn't really get that speaking in such shorthand tended to get people to misinterpret his meaning. Naturally, his voice lacked the urgency a normal person's would have in this situation.

Johnson closed his eyes and did his best to think of his happiest memory. This last part proved somewhat difficult due to everything that had happened in the past few years.
"A year ago...Dominic, Maya, and I were brought into the Camgi Order. We had been helping the knights there, including the Major and First Lieutenant, for a few months before then. We were basically volunteer knights. On our missions with them I saw how messed up the world really was. How badly the demons damaged it. It felt good to actually go out there and help what few people there still were, as well as protect our city."
The injured knight sighed quietly, a smile tugging at his mouth.
"We eventually caught the attention of the General, who personally invited us to join the Order. We all lost a lot during the invasion...so, for me at least, it was really great to actually be accepted. It was basically confirmation that what I had been doing for the several months before was actually helping people."
----------------------------------------------------------------------- Outskirt Wasteland Outside Racamgi
It was only mere minutes before a large white hovering truck came into view. The vehicle hovered only a foot off the ground and it had several glowing blue lines. The windows were tinted a dark blue, making it difficult to see who was inside. The truck came to a stop in front Yuri and the doors quickly opened. Four men and four women, all in silver armor with various blue and yellow markings, emerged. The knights quickly surrounded the otherworldly man and pointed at him with their blades.
A deep masculine voice then said: "At ease. He looks just as confused as we are."
The voice belonged to a monster of a man who came out of the truck last. He walked into his troops' perimeter and stood in front of Yuri, arms behind his back. He was nearly eight feet tall and wore bulky armor similar to a medieval knight, but with some modern technological twists. His chest armor and large gauntlets each had a single red gem with cables sprouting from them and going into various parts of his armor. His helmet was similar in shape to a cone, but had a more jagged tip. The armor plating of the helmet was in wrapped layers, similar to a mummy. Actually, most of his armor's plating was like that. His armor concealed his entire body save for a small slit in the helmet, revealing his glowing blue eyes which happened to be staring at Yuri.
"Although, I think it would still benefit you if you were to explain exactly how you got here. No transportation by vehicle, we would've seen you coming a mile away, no flight, we still would have seen you, and you wouldn't be nearly as confused-looking if you consciously teleported here." The armored giant's cape flowed majestically as the wind lightly picked up.
"So...who are you and how did you get here?"

Kazuya immediately ran up to the woman with the cat ears. She had no reason to thank him, considering how she might be dead in a few seconds....if she proved troublesome enough.
"I don't have time for introductions," he said as he walked toward the cat-woman. "Tell me where I am. Now."
It was clear that Kazuya intended to get violent if he didn't get what he wanted. The hostility coming from him was so potent one could almost taste it.
Before Kazuya could get his answer, however, yet another visitor invited himself into the crowd.
"I can explain that....sort of." The man said, shrugging. He ate the last bite of his banana and tossed the peel on the ground.
"Then explain," Kazuya demanded. "And do it quickly. I'm running out of patience."
"You know, I could, but I'm not going to, and the reason for that is because if I do, you'll completely misunderstand what's happening right now."
Kazuya furrowed his brow, but got no reaction from the mysterious man in the blue suit.
"Would everyone mind giving me their name, and how they got here?"

The wind that gave life to the giant's cape swayed Yuri's hair. Within minutes of coming to, he was surrounded by a squadron or foreign-looking knights that poured out of some... glowing transport-thing in a place he wasn't even familiar with... What a way to start off the day. Yuri lifted his head to meet with the gargantuan.
"The name's Yuri. As for how I got here, It just sort of... happened." He told the iron clad titan. "I tried to stop an out-of-control blastia with my sword, and well... here I am." In truth, he didn't honestly expect them to believe him- or even know what he was talking about. This place... Yuri didn't feel like he was on Terca Lumereis. At least, not the one he knew.

Yarashii narrowed her eyes at Kazuya. She was all too familiar with that tone of voice and she was not beyond putting this mysterious man down right where he stood. Granted, she would certainly have difficulty considering how he punched that minotaur demon moments ago but she would still try.
However, before their confrontation could escalate a man in a blue suit came walking out of nowhere. The major raised an eyebrow at yet another newcomer. Surprisingly, he kept his cool when the rude scarred man started demanding answers from him as well.
The man in the blue suit specifically asked for the names of the people who had just arrived here. Yarashii still felt as if she should say something, if just to be polite at the very least.
"I'm Major Yarashii Sato. I'm actually from around here, unlike these others. Any explanation you can offer would be pretty helpful." She indicated the teenage boy behind her with a small movement of her katana. "That guy over there is Yu Narukami. Apparently, he was a...'passenger' on that train that fell from the sky. He told me he didn't cause it, so I'm guessing he's confused just like Mr. Glowing Eye here."
The catgirl then pointed towards a nearby rooftop, where the tall girl from before was with Johnson. "Up there is another strange person. A tall woman. Don't know anything about her though."
At this time another person arrived. Unlike Kazuya, Yu, and the others however, this newcomer actually belonged here. A man in white and yellow armor slowly descended from the sky, his metal wings flapping slowly. His arms, legs, and neck had black chainmail while his white helmet had two slits, similar to a medieval knight's. Yellow eyes could be seen through the top slit and a large lance rested on the man's back. He landed next to the major and looked around at all the mysterious people. His eyes moved up towards the large icicles and the dead minotaur, whose corpse was almost done deteriorating. He sighed quietly and looked at the catgirl.
"Kasshu and Rei are on their way in the trucks but...I can tell I missed something exciting and something really damned weird. Who are all these people?"
Yarashii massaged the bridge of her nose in aggravation. "Just...be quiet and listen to the guy in the suit."
"Where's Johnson?"
"On a rooftop. Now shush."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Outside Racamgi
The knights surrounding the two began to whisper to one another.
"Blastia? What the hell is that?"
"I dunno, man. I've never heard of one."
"He's making shit up. He's probably here as a scout for those damned demons."
"Maybe. But we don't know for sure..."
The armored giant held up one of his large hands, signaling the knights to be silent. "We have never heard of such a thing as a...'blastia'. However, I advise that it may be in your best interest to come with us to the city. You can explain what a blastia is while we're in the truck. In return for your cooperation, we'll try to explain as best as we can where you are."
A female knight in noticeably fancier armor than the others stepped forward. Her armor, while still primarily silver, had several black designs on the chest and legs. She wasn't carrying a normal sword like the others and was, instead, carrying a long wrist-mounted blade. "General...are you sure about this? Do you think we can trust this man? We know nothing about him."
The armored giant turned to look at his subordinate. "Calm yourself, Shepard. That is exactly why I'm doing this. I'm giving this man the benefit of the doubt."

The tall woman continued to manipulate Johnson's blood and skin and nerves, quickening his recovery exponentially.
"Is that really your happiest memory? Don't get me wrong, I feel good after seeing some of my handiwork do good, and I can understand how cool it can be to be recognized by the Big Man, but there's gotta be something that really stands out. Something you did, some single thing you accomplished, or something you shared with someone. One of my happiest memories was when I had gotten into a fist fight with my best friend. We were goofing around, one of us did something, and before you know it, we're beating the snot out of each other. And let me tell you, you know you have a friend for life when you trade blows and can walk home together, laughing about it along the way."

Johnson sighed quietly. "Me and Dom had a fight like that once. Although he kicked my ass since he's a legit martial artist and crap. But..." The knight's expression darkened. "I probably do have a memory happier than that. One specific event that sticks out. That was before the world went to hell though. Thinking about a time before that will make me remember exactly what I had and how it was lost. I'd rather not remember that...not looking for pity or anything ma'am. Just stating how I feel."

Racamgi ~ Outskirt Wasteland - Riz Ruins
Yu's eyes gradually wandered as Yarashii spoke, and rested on her ears and her tail. Assuming those things were real, he couldn't possibly even be on the same planet; after all, there weren't any actual cat girls on earth, that was only in manga and anime... well and cosplayers.
While Yu silently pondered this, Kohyru's solid red eyes never stopped staring at Kazuya. Perhaps it was the subconcious part of Yu's mind telling him to be careful, or maybe the massive persona was simply leery on its own right. After all... Yu's persona did briefly converse with him after their creation. Who was to say they didn't have minds of their own. The way the golden dragon glared at Kazuya, there didn't seem to be any doubt.

The tall woman finished mending his arm, scar tissue covering what had once been torn away. She moved her hands away from him, resting them in her lap as she continued to sit behind him with folded legs, frowning.
"...So because some of the happiest moments of your life happened before this great catastrophe, that makes them too painful to be worth recalling? You'd rather forget that they happened, so it feels like you didn't lose so much?" The tall, muscular woman rose to her feet, and looked at the starry sky. "Well, you sure as hell found pity, because that's a pitiful way to live. Ignoring pieces of your own past... that's even worse than lying to yourself." She stood there, recalling a memory of greedy hands pulling at her school clothes as she watched them hold a young man back at knife point, taunting him before they...
"...Maybe I don't know what happened here, but I can't imagine that whatever it was would make me want to forget the good times before it. Or the people before it." As she looked to the sky, a smirk crossed her face as her broad shoulders made a quick bounce, as if she had silently chuckled. "But maybe that's just me. Maybe I'm just that stubborn. You ready to hop down from here? Sounds like someone is asking for you."

Johnson looked at his healed arm. It was scarred as hell, but it was definitely better than it was before. He stood up and took off his cracked helmet, intently listening to her words.
"Perhaps it is a pitiful way to live. However, I don't try to ignore it so it doesn't feel like I didn't lose as much. I'll always feel like I've lost as much as I have. I try not to think about it so I can keep my head on straight. So I don't get consumed by grief again."
The knight looked down at his helmet.
"I was a wreck after everything was taken away. Things only got better after I met Dom and Maya. They helped me get back onto my feet and convinced me to volunteer with the Order alongside them. I have new memories to keep me going and the ones from before...maybe one day I can look back at them and just accept it. But right now, the wounds are still fresh."
He then walked towards the edge of the rooftop, briefly looking down at the group, then back at the tall woman.
"Yeah, I think it's about time we got back down there. Oh, and thanks for taking care of my arm. Probably wouldn't have made it without you."

"My name is unimportant," Kazuya claimed. "These weaklings that the populace refers to as demons have been pouring through a portal to my domain. Weak as they are, they've become a roadblock on the path to my goals. I've come here to put an end to this nuisance."
The shirtless, heavily scarred man folded his arms.
"You have your information. Now explain. Who are you, and what's going on?"
"I'm the Doctor," the man in the blue suit said.
"Docotor who?" Kazuya asked in response.
"Just....the Doctor."
Kazuya made a "tsk" sound in response, but otherwise allowed the Doctor to continue to speak freely.
"Yu, person-with-the-glowing-red-eye, you came here through a rift. A rift in space, time, and most importantly, reality."
"You're serious?" Kazuya asked. "Are you really going where I think you are?"
"You're the one who walked through the portal," the Doctor responded. Kazuya begrudgingly shrugged and accepted that, considering the circumstances, his explanation wasn't all that unreasonable.
"I'm what you could call an expert in...goofy universe things," the Doctor continued. "People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly... time-y wimey... stuff. It's big, complicated, and very very very silly. Now, if time is this complicated, just imagine how complicated the entire multiverse must be."
The Doctor began to pace back and forth, making sporadic hand motions as he continued to speak.
"Much like you, and probably Yu, I came here through a portal. A portal that is likely either the product of some sort of cosmic damage or wear, or an elaborately planned opening. Normally, I wouldn't dream of doing such a thing, but there's been a sort of problem as of late that I can't ignore."
The Doctor's face turned somewhat grim as he prepared to deliver his next line of exposition.
"These things are opening everywhere. They're opening in every universe, at random intervals, at random points in time. And if something isn't done soon, existence is probably going to collapse in on itself. Nothing will ever exist ever again."
Kazuya shook his head and rolled his eyes.
"If what you're saying is true, then what's your plan. Travel blindly through realities until you find a solution to the problem?"
"...Well, yes. I thought it was a pretty decent plan."
...The Doctor paused for a moment to lick his lips and put his hands in his pockets.
"Any questions?"

Yarashii paid attention to Yu and watched as his eyes wandered. She noticed they were specifically moving between her feline ears and tail and figured that he must have never seen a human/demon hybrid before. This didn't really surprise her since there weren't really that many hybrids to begin with. At least, not anymore since most of them ended up turning evil and getting killed. She deliberately made her ears move and her tail moved towards Yu, lightly poking his chest.
The major's attention was taken by the Doctor's explanation and she raised an eyebrow in response.
"Normally, I'd say that sounds absolutely ridiculous but since a train fell from the sky and you all obviously aren't from around here...I can believe you're explanation, Doctor."
The winged knight next to her looked at her in bewilderment. "What? You're going to believe a crazy story just like that? No argument whatsoever?"
"What can I argue about? I don't know anything about different worlds, dimensions, etc. Plus, this guy looks like he actually knows what he's talking about."
"But-"
"That's enough, First Lieutenant Kigan." Yarashii's tone became much more stern and demanding. "We both have nothing to contradict what this man said. I suggest you drop it for now."
The First Lieutenant stared at the Major for a few moments, his yellow eyes narrowing at her. "...Fine. We'll just bring this up with the general when we get back."
The catgirl ignored him and looked back at the Doctor.
At this time, two large silver trucks drove in. They both had glowing blue lines and hovered a foot off the ground. One knight stepped out of each and began approaching the group. One was a tall slender man wearing white armor with tinges of black. He wore no helmet and, instead, wore a black headband that trailed behind him as he walked. His hair was brown and messy while a small x-shaped scar was present on his left cheek. Finally, he wore a black cape. The other knight was a slender woman who took her helmet off as she approached. She had long hair, reaching down to her waist, that was such a pale green that it looked nearly white. Her armor was primarily white, like the other knight's, but had several tinges of pink. Her weapon, a rapier, was attached to her back.
Yarashii smiled at the two knights. "Master sergeant Rei...warrant officer Kasshu. It's good to see you two are all right."
Kasshu merely said "Hmph." while Rei nodded. "The feeling is mutual major." Her eyes moved across all the strange people standing around. "Thankfully, first lieutenant Kigan kept his channel open. We heard the...doctor's...explanation on our way here."
"It sounds completely crazy." Kasshu muttered as he folded his arms.
Rei nodded in agreement. "It really does...but a lot of crazy things have happened in recent times. It's not too difficult to believe this. Especially when the Doctor sounds so sure of himself."
The caped knight next to her shrugged. "Whatever you say."
Yarashii placed a hand to her chin as she thought. "I suppose...we'll need to take you back to Racamgi with us. If things are really as bad as you say, Doctor, then we need to let the Emperor and the general know. You're the best to explain it." Her green eyes moved across Yu, Kazuya, and the rooftop that had Johnson and the tall woman.
"You should all come as well. Maybe we can talk more about this then and try to formulate a better plan than simply wandering through dimensions. No offense, Doctor."
Bon shook his head and sighed. He then looked towards the rooftop.
"Hey Johnson! You and your friend ready to come down yet?!"

The purple haired man looked at the woman, and then back to the man again. That settled it. If the knights were unable to know what a blastia was, then there was no way Yuri was on his home planet. This man, however... Even though his subordinates were skeptical from him popping out from nowhere (and as they should be), the man was willing to give Yuri to explain the situation. Hell, he even offered to take him back to civilization... Yeah, this guy was alright.
"Sounds good to me." Yuri answered back with a smirk on his face. "I'll tell you everything you need to know on the ride there"
