Knight Truck
Yuri gazed upon the futuristic metropolis. Peaking from the iron walls were buildings that scraped the sky. They were illuminated by lights of all different kinds of color. It was simply unlike anything Yuri had ever seen before; not even the fireworks off of Nordopolica's oceanfront could compare.
"And here I thought this place was reduced to rubble." He remarked, throwing his usual two cents in the pot. It would seem that even a post apocalyptic world has its leisures.

Truck Alpha
A smile finally cracked on Yu's face because of Raiga's antics. He could still play along in that case.
"I don't know what you're talking about, but if that's the case, I won't give up." This group... though far removed from his own world, they were beginning to remind him of his own group of friends.
"Haha... all that aside..." Yu closed his eyes, a smile still present on his face as he spoke, "I think I'll be fine with this world if it comes to that."

Racamgi Front Gates
The truck finally came to a stop in front of the enormous metal gates of the city. The doors opened and the knights all quickly shuffled out, with Veslir getting out after them. The general approached the knights guarding the gate and nodded at them.
"Has anything important occurred while I was away?"
"Yes sir! Carl Makkura came to the city!"
"....And?"
"We managed to incapacitate him, sir! He's being held in a special containment cell in the dungeon!"
Veslir shook his head silently. "We have more pressing matters at the moment. Tell Dr. Ingel that she is to meet me at the entrance to her lab. We have much to discuss with her."
One of the guards cocked his head. "'We', sir?"
The armored behemoth looked back towards Yuri, then at the guard. "Yes. 'We'. The newcomer with me is named Yuri Lowell. He is to be considered an ally."
The guards saluted the general and stepped aside. The gates slowly opened, the gears and other mechanisms within making low humming sounds. The other knights moved on into the city square, with Shepard stopping in front of the general.
"Sir, I'll be in the dining hall if you need me."
"Very well, Shepard. I shall see you later."
The female knight saluted and moved through the open gates. Veslir then began walking into the city, beckoning Yuri to follow as he went.

Truck Alpha
The Doctor seemed so disinterested in the whole cat-licking subject. It was as if he had heard it all before. If he was truly what he claimed to be, then that may very well have been the case.
"We close to the, uh...the place yet?"
Truck Beta
Kazuya made no response toward the driver. He simply sat there and waited.
He thought a bit about what he would do when they arrived at their destination. Kazuya had every intent to speed things along as efficiently and quickly as possible. If that meant being a bit forceful, then so be it.
Perhaps these so-called knights could do with some "encouragement" later on, if they prove to be working too slowly. Kazuya had many ways of ensuring that they had to hurry without allowing them to pin it on him in any way.
Time was of the essence. Kazuya didn't intend to waste any of it.

Racamgi Front Gates
Yarashii's face was now as bright as a tomato and she was finding it nearly impossible to speak properly. "Ah..b-but...Raiga...Yu...agh, you aren't much better than him in that case!!"
Kasshu loudly cleared his throat, demanding everyone's attention.
"Major, everyone, we're here. It also looks like the general found his own visitor."
Yarashii gently pulled herself away from Raiga, her face quickly returning to its natural color. She moved towards the front of the truck and looked through the windshield, seeing another truck with Veslir and a long-haired man walking towards the gates. The catgirl placed a hand to her chin and muttered to herself. "That's...not surprising actually. Makes sense there would be others appearing at different locations."
The doors of Truck Alpha opened and the major quickly jumped out, landing nimbly on the ground.
"General!!"
The armored giant stopped walking and turned around, nodding as his friend and stopping where he stood.
"Major Sato. Warrant officer Kasshu. Corporal Johnson."
Truck Beta stopped behind Truck Alpha at this time, with Bon and Rei stepping out. The general nodded at them as well.
"First Lieutenant Kigan. Master sergeant Rei. Nice to see you all get here at the same time. Now all of you should follow me. Including your guests. We have much to discuss."
Yarashii ran up to the general, quickly saluting him before speaking. "General. We actually have someone who has an idea of what's going on."
"Oh?"
"Yes. He's apparently something of an expert on different dimensions and such."
"...Different dimensions? You believe this whole situation has something to do with different dimensions?"
The catgirl nodded, making Veslir stare at her for a moment. He then shrugged and continued walking into the city.
"Well it's not like crazier things haven't already happened on this planet... Everyone report to the Science Hall! Dr. Ingell is going to meet us there!"

Raiga stepped out of the truck, snickering as Yarashii caught up with her superior. She followed them, looking around with the saya of her broken weapon slung over her shoulder. The city wasn't bad, certainly much better than she imagined it. "Well, at least they seem to be getting by," she said to herself.

Racamgi ~ Front Gates
Yu hopped out of the truck behind Yarashii, following her silently as he stared at the large gate. Yeah, this place really was like somewhere out of a fantasy novel, or a video game back home.
"Well then... I guess we should hurry on in. Maybe you can show us around the city when this meeting's over, Yarashii?" In the back of his mind, something in Yu's mind began to nag. If he was actually going to be stuck here...
All of his stuff had been on that train. Everything he was bringing back from Inaba, all his spare clothes, the mementos from his friends. It was hard to tell, but Yu's pupil's dilated slightly as he wondered at a solution.
"... I think I'll need to go shopping as well."

The Doctor followed the knights to their meeting room, with Kazuya soon following suit. Kazuya took a position next to Raiga while the Doctor took the lead amongst the visitors, with only the knights moving ahead of him.
The Doctor took the time to wonder what this city's economy must have been like. What kind of government did they have? What constituted the average breakfast? For all he knew, beans and toast could be a rare delicacy on this planet.
Oh well. At least he knew bananas still existed.

Yuri leapt out of the truck as the city's gates slowly shifted open. As usual, he held his sheathed sword by the strap of its scabbard. He could only take a few steps forward before two more vehicles, nearly identical to the one him and Veslir were transported in. Out of them popped out, you guessed it, more knights. But unlike Veslir or Shepard, a point of interest was a woman bearing characteristics akin to that of a feline. She'd also made mention of a person who might have some idea of what's going on. And who knew? Maybe this 'Dr. Ingell' had a clue on how to get Yuri and the others back to their respective dimensions.
Lastly, Yuri could see others disembarking from the hi tech transport. One of the first was a silver-haired teenager wearing (what looked to him to be) a rather outlandish outfit, as well as two others who passed the gates and entered the city. It was plain to see that he stuck out from the others, and it didn't come to a surprise to the swordsman. Yuri knew exactly who these trucks carried.
"So these are the other 'visitors' I keep hearing about." He spoke, not aiming his comment to any one person. He looked back at Veslir, ready to resume prior plans and make tracks. "So general, are we going to meet that doctor? I'm pretty sure we're all interested on what he has to say."

Racamgi City Square
Yarashii nodded at Yu. "If things aren't too urgent, then yes. I'll gladly show you all around the city."
Veslir, meanwhile, responded to Yuri with a quiet laugh. "Yes. We're going to meet with the doctor now. She will hopefully be able to come up with something."
The catgirl spoke up. "First we'll need to have the Doctor here explain what he knows. Get everyone up to speed."
The general nodded silently.
The citizens of Racamgi continued about their business as if nothing was wrong. Several of them glanced towards the strange visitors but the fact they were being escorted by the knights made them feel much safer.
It wasn't long before the Science Hall could be seen dead ahead. The building was shaped like half a cylinder, laying partway inside the earth. The entire front was covered in windows except for the large concrete doors. The words "Science Hall" could be seen on the top arch of the building. While the structure wasn't very tall, it was quite wide and very long.
Veslir nodded at the guards, who quickly stood aside and allowed the group to enter unhindered.
Science Hall Entrance Hall
The inside of the hall was rather attractive. The floor was covered in a red carpet with various alchemy and numeric symbols. Potted plants and small statues stood on pedestals on the sides of the hallway. The floor and walls themselves were made of black marble and three tall windows were on the left and right walls. The hallway was lit by several lantern-shaped lights hanging from the ceiling, each housing a blue flame within.
The general opened the double-doors ahead, leaving them open for the others to follow.
Discussion Hall
This room was much larger then the hall before. There was a long marble table in the center of the room, sitting on another rug similar to the Entrance Hall's and complete with forty chairs; eighteen on the left and right sides and two at the front and back. There was enough space left in the room to house two more tables of similar design on each side of the room.
There were no windows in this room save for a small rectangular one at the tops of the left and right walls. The room was lit by several glass chandeliers, each one housing multiple blue flames. Despite the color of the flames, the room was lit up as it normally would be from regular flames.
The general sat in one of the chairs at the front of the long table, placing his hands together as he waited for the doctor to show up.
Bon sat in the fifth seat down on the left side while Yarashii sat in the third seat down on the right. Kasshu sat in the eighth down on the right, Johnson sat in the seat to his right (the ninth down), while Rei sat to his left (the seventh down).
The catgirl spoke up in case anyone was wondering. "You can all sit wherever you like. I'm guessing Dr. Ingel will be here soon, general?"
Bon laughed. "If she's not late for once."
Veslir ignored his comment. "Yes. She should be."

Discussion HallYu sat down by Yarashi again, staying relatively silent asd he took the fourth seat down on the right side. However, as he did, he felt a prickling on the back of his neck, like someone was watching him. "..." There was no one in either of the windows at the top of the room. He must have been imagining things. However, Yu did take short notice of the jab Bon made at the person they were here to see. "... does this Dr.Ingel have a habit of showing up late?" He asked idly to no one in particular, though the question may as well have been for Yarashii.
"Come on come on come on! You got something important to go to, so do it already you stupid woman...." A figure floated outside the building, watching the inhabitants of it carefully. She wore a long leather cloak, had a black and white striped scarf, and a rather nice hat. Somehow, this only accentuated her blond hair and yellow eyes in the most eerie of ways. "Oh man, to get a crack at another mage's library... I wonder how many magic books she has stashed away in there, ze..." It was clear from her words that she intended to rob the woman blind while she was in her discussion... now if only she'd just go to it...

Raiga sat in the third on the left, directly across from Yarashii. she sat down, and laid the saya of her nodachi across her lap, but as soon as she was comfortable, she felt something. Someone was outside the building, hovering as it would seem.
"Hey, Yarashii, can people around here fly?"

Racamgi Science Hall Discussion Hall
Veslir overheard Yu and answered before Yarashii could.
"Unfortunately...she has developed a habit of being late. She's brilliant, but eccentric. We wouldn't get that far without her though."
The catgirl, meanwhile, answered Raiga's question with a hesitant nod.
"Yeah...sort of. Only certain people can fly. The People's Hero back in JX City can fly, as can one of his friends. Others can fly using technology, like Bon here."
The techno knight's metallic wings flapped lightly as if to emphasize Yarashii's statement.
At this time a woman came speed-walking into the room carrying a thick notebook. She wore a white lab coat with a black skirt and red shirt. Her long hair was blond and had several strands hanging over her face, which she tried moving out of the way as she walked but failed. They were very stubborn strands of hair.
"Oh dear...I apologize for my tardiness everyone." The woman acted as if it were completely normal to have total strangers in the science hall. Her hazel eyes then stopped on the Doctor and she adjusted her glasses. She stared curiously at him until Veslir could be heard clearing his throat. The blond scientist suddenly remembered where she was and looked at everyone else, indicating the Doctor with her thumb.
"I'm guessing he's the expert on what's going on?"
Yarashii nodded while Bon rolled his eyes and muttered "Yeah...'expert'."
"Oh, right! How rude of me!" The blond woman did a quick bow. "I'm Doctor Izuma Ingel."

Discussion Hall
Yu bowed his head politely as Izuma introduced herself.
"Yu Narukami." Well, from all outward appearances, she was friendly enough. Of course, this being a different world... He closed his eyes. He was over thinking this.
Outside, and out of sight...
Marisa grinned; an errant glance told her that the good doctor had vacated her lab.
"Alright then, to to make shit happen." With a wisk of her fingers, a charm she had been perfecting shrouded the woman's lab. It was a lovely little soundproofing charm she had been working the bugs out of... to, well, make stealing from Patchouli easier. And less dangerous.
Without a second though, Marisa rammed in through the window on her broom; no one heard jack, or else they would be running in to apprehend her in a heartbeat. Now, she just had to find some interesting books to read... or perhaps some valuable chemicals.
Now what oh what did the good doctor Ingel have for the Mad Witch today~?

"Izuma. I met an Izuma once. Quiet man. Didn't talk much."
The Doctor quickly shook his hand, and didn't waste any time beginning his little lecture.
"Everybody gonna take their seats?"
"I'll stand," Kazuya stated.
"Right then," the Doctor continued.
"Let's look at this ball of yarn that I have-nevermind how I got it, I found it on the way here-and say that this ball of yarn, is time. Now most of you are probably thinking....How's time like a ball of yarn? Well, contrary to popular belief time is not in fact a strict progression of linear events. It's complicated, and it goes all over the place. In my universe, time travel happens all the time, especially when I'm involved. But time is fragile. Best case scenario, a few anomalies happen, weird events take place, and it's nothing that can't be fixed. Worst case scenario..."
The Doctor held the ball of yarn by a single string and allowed it to unravel it completely. He then began to rip apart the string, bit by bit, until nothing but a mess remained.
"...You get the idea. Time, like everything else, needs maintenance. It needs to be examined, and things inevitably need to be repaired. Otherwise, things cease to be."
The Doctor began to pace back and forth.
"But that's just time. And if time's that fragile, just think for one second, ONE second...what could happen if dimensions themselves are damaged? Universes aren't supposed to collide. You can't have someone from one dimension just hop over to the one next door. You know what happens when two worlds collide?"
The Doctor grabbed two full glasses of water that happened to be in the room, and crashed them into each other, reducing them to shards.
"That happens."
The Doctor paced for a bit before pointing to Kazuya.
"You shouldn't be here."
He then pointed to Yu.
"You shouldn't be here."
Then himself.
"I shouldn't be here. But it's not our presence specifically that's the danger here. People pouring in from other universes is bad, but they aren't what's really important here. The thing that we to worry about aren't what pours out of these dimensional rips, but the rips themselves. As more things start pouring through these rips, what do you think's gonna happen?....What happens if you stick your finger through paper? It creates a hole. What happens when you stick your thumb in that hole? The hole gets bigger. What happens when your wiggle your thumb around in the hole? The hole gets bigger. Pretty soon the paper's reduced to shreds."
The Doctor took a breath before continuing. His long-winded speech was coming to an end, it seemed.
"And the worst part of it is these holes are appearing everywhere. I've gone through rip after rip, and everywhere I went, I saw more rips. I don't know what started it. But I know one thing. I'm going to find out. Unless we find what's creating these rips in the first place, sowing the holes back up, putting tape on it, whatever metaphor you want to use...It's not going to solve the problem. Someone needs to find out what's destroying the miltiverse. Might as well be us."
The Doctor put his hands in his pockets and gave a glance to every person in the room.
"Any questions? Thoughts? Ideas?"
