The Pearl Sanctuary Docking Hall
The group now found themselves in an enormous room made of silver and white metal. The ceiling was practically a hundred feet high and the room itself must have been the size of several dozen football fields. There were lights underneath the floor as well as in the ceiling, brightening the entire room. The area was, for the most part, empty save for a few various forms of transportation.
On the left was a dark green military jeep with an armored machine gun on its roof, allowing a passenger standing in the back to use it to defend the vehicle and its occupants. Further down was a large black car, similar to a limousine, but with some spiked ridges and two points on the roof that made it look as if it had slanted bat ears. Directly next to that car was a large truck, military in design, with a blue logo of a globe and the acronym "B.S.A.A." stamped within it. Finally, on the opposite side of the room was the largest vehicle in the room. In fact, it was actually an enormous ship of advanced design with blue lines on the hull and black wings. Painted in large black letters on the sides was the name "Normandy".
Amuzi said nothing about any of the vehicles and simply continued walking, leading the group to the end of the hall. "This is my realm. My home."
1st Floor Hallway
The sorceress continued to lead the group, walking down the hall. The walls had several artistic designs painted onto them, preventing the path from being any more dull than it already was. Several doors could be seen on each side, all of which were closed. Perhaps there were other recruits within them?
Central Chamber
The group now arrived at another large room. Not quite as big as the first, but still impressive nonetheless. There was a large hovering platform in the center and a giant orb of light embedded in the ceiling, filling the entire room with its warm glow. Tall windows were present on the upper half of the walls, each showing the outside of the fortress. Some showed white towers in the distance, obviously other parts of the structure, while others showed a beautiful swirl of a multitude of colors. As if the group were in the most beautiful part of space.
A quiet, but constant, humming could be heard throughout. There was probably some type of machinery at work. Judging from the size of the rooms they've seen so far, the entire place must have been enormous.
Amuzi opened her arms and smiled at her guests.
"This is the Pearl Sanctuary. A structure that is its own realm. Its own dimension. Completely separate from the flow of time and space."
Suna had a confused expression. She then looked at the Doctor. "Separated from time and space? Is that really possible, Doctor?"
Yarashii's bright green eyes wandered around the room and she nodded in approval. "Wow...this place is really something."
Morrigan and Demitri moved away from the group, walking past the dimensional witch. Apparently they had their own work to do at this time and decided to leave Amuzi alone with her guests.
"This will be our main base of operations during the crisis. Doctor, your TARDIS will work perfectly for getting you and the others from dimension to dimension. If you do not mind using it for us, that is."

Raiga looked around in wonder. Racamgi was at least similar enough to her own home, but the structure she found herself in was far beyond anything she had seen in her life. It was amazing, and somewhat unnerving, as she couldn't feel the follow of a world. The building indeed felt like it was cut off from anything. So this was now their hub, their base of operations. Their... some other word...
"...Command Center?" Raiga whispered to herself. Even though she was separated from any worldly flow, she could still manipulate her own flow, and that of others. She wanted to heal Yu as soon as possible, though, she also wanted to talk to Amuzi. There were questions that were eating at her. Still, she wanted to help Yu first. She raised her hand, her height helping to gain attention.
"So, where are the rooms, or an infirmary?"

Central Chamber
Yu nodded with Yarashii, agreeing with her words. Jade looked impressed, yet disturbed for some reason... as though this place had reminded him of something unpleasant. Yukari even whistled at the beyond impressive architecture, mumbling something about making something similar when she had some spare time.
Yu however, was letting his curiosity get the better of him, and was grateful when Rivera interrupted his train of thought.
"This is where we'll be staying, huh..." Yu mumbled under his breath, a note of approval that only Yarashii would be able to hear with her feline ear in his voice. Jade stepped closer to Amuzi as she spoke, following up Raiga's question.
"Those vehicles back did spark my interest, so I suppose I'll just ask; how many other people do you have working with you on this? This place seems so large that it could house far more than a few battalions." It was a keen observation of course... just how far did this woman's plan extend? Yukari found the question delightful, going as far as clapping lightly and inaudible, a small smile on her face.
Marisa however... well, she was still woozy, and pale in the face. She wasn't throwing up anymore, but it hadn't done her any good either. Currently, the witch was supporting herself on Yarashii's arm, whether the catgirl liked it or not.

The Pearl Sanctuary ~ Central Chamber
Carl placed his hands in his jeans pockets as he looked around. The enormous place, as well as the powerful atmosphere it had, reminded him of the mansion he and Suna resided at less than a year ago. He wasn't sure how this made him feel. He certainly liked the place, but... No, no. This wasn't a good time to think like that.
The undead warrior listened to Jade's question and silently nodded. He, too, was interested in how many others this sorceress already had working alongside her. "I'm guessing any others you have are from other dimensions, like us, right?"

"Oh yeah," the Doctor said back to Suna. "How do you think the Tardis gets around? There's got to be gaps between time and space. Otherwise, time travel would be impossible. There'd be no way to get through from one point in time to another."
The Doctor's attention was called back when he heard his name spoken by Amuzi. She hadn't said anything unexpected. Her request was one that he had already granted.
"Of course," he said to Amuzi. "Normally, I'd prefer to travel with just one companion, but, in times like this, why the hell not? The more the merrier. I've already laid down the ground rules of the TARDIS. I can have her moved out as soon as we're all ready."

The Pearl Sanctuary Central Chamber
"Aaaah." Suna nodded. She didn't fully understand the whole idea like the Doctor and Amuzi, but she had the basic concept. In all honesty she found the whole dimensional thing extremely fascinating. Meanwhile, Yarashii's ear perked up when she heard Yu and she nodded in agreement. She could tell he was impressed like herself and the others.
"Yeah, this place looks great. I've never seen anything like it before."
Amuzi answered Jade first, deciding to save Raiga's question for last. She's had previous guests leave instantly when she told them where the rooms were and she actually wanted to talk a bit for once. "Oh, a few hundred people. I believe I had around five-hundred since I last check." She shrugged. "That may not sound like a large number when it comes to the multiverse and all, but keep in mind every single team I have is extremely powerful. Several are beyond even your levels. Excluding Yukari, of course."
The sorceress began walking around the room in a similar fashion Dr. Izuma Ingel had in Racamgi. "We're still recruiting of course. As time passes, more and more problems are occurring simultaneously and it's only a matter of time until I don't have enough teams. That's something I'm trying to prevent." She pointed towards an elevator on the far right of the room. "Now, as for the rooms...well, I'm sure you're all absolutely exhausted. Go to that elevator and take it up to the fourth floor. All twenty rooms on that floor are available and you can all choose whichever ones you want."
Amuzi stopped walking and opened her mouth to say more, but stopped. She then looked behind her and all the way towards the back of the room, near the entrance to another hallway, was a large man in black, white, and yellow armor, similar to a military uniform, with red wrists and ankle pieces. He had a slanted black navy cap and a golden handle of a beam saber hanging from his waist. He actually looked somewhat similar to X and Zero in design. The sorceress silently nodded at him and looked back at the others.
"Well, I have some important business to attend to. Feel free to explore the fourth floor. There should already be some food prepared in the dining room there, so feel free to eat as well. If any of you have an further questions, feel free to come by my room later on." She indicated the hall with the military reploid with her thumb. "It's through that hall and has a big white door."
Amuzi turned away and quickly walked to the other side of the room, hovering a foot off the ground to move faster. She flew right by the reploid who merely watched her. He then looked towards the group, his eyes focusing on Zero, and simply nodded. After that, he followed the sorceress into the hallway.
Silence enveloped the room and, after a few minutes, it was broken by Yarashii. She clapped her hands once and began to make her way to the elevator.
"Well, no point in just standing around, right? We'd better get going and check the rooms out."
Suna nodded and followed. "The food as well because, honestly...well, I'm actually pretty hungry."
Command Hallway
Amuzi had stopped rushing and was now walking at her normal pace, followed by the large reploid. She couldn't help but smile.
"Not going to say hello to your friendly rival?"
"..."
"Still not talking to me?"
He said nothing, of course.
"Don't worry. I'll finish your sister soon."
A small smile appeared on his face at the thought.

While the blue reploid was quite shocked at the appearance of the red reploid, it didn't nearly match up to Zero's expression. He was...dumbfounded. Compeletely and utterly shocked.
And the colonel's reaction to it all? A simple nod of the head.
That wasn't what a dead man risen from the grave responded to the man that killed him. It wasn't right. Zero almost went after him, but he was restrained by X. Neither of them needed to speak aloud to tell each other what they wanted to say. Zero understood, and continued to follow X and the others upstairs to the fourth floor.
----------------------------------------------------
The Doctor and Kazuya exchanged hostile looks with each other as they ate from opposite sides of the table. The dining room was large, and had every possible nutrient a human could need, as well as several that a non-human would need as well. The Doctor was particularly put off by the glass wine glass filled with human blood at the end of the table.
The food was fantastic. Even Kazuya had to admit that. But his focus was on the Doctor as he ate, not the food itself.
"Are you trying to make me explode with your mind or something?" the Doctor finally said, breaking the silence.
"No. I'm measuring your fighting capabilities...You're weak."
"Compared to you probably. I'm a pacifist. I try to avoid killing when I can. It's kind of counterproductive in the whole scheme of things."
Again with this Doctor's talk of a 'grand scheme'. The man acted like he knew every single fact there was to know about the multiverse, and Kazuya hated it. He hated it to the core of his heart. He hated it because it meant that this Doctor was better equipped. He had the home field advantage of everywhere in the cosmos.
How was Kazuya supposed to trump someone like that?
He had to find a way. Somehow, at some point. If he was going to be fighting on equal ground with the rest of these people, he needed to be as knowledgeable as they were.

[joint post with Greed.]
As the elevator reached the floor that they would be staying, Yu looked around. None of the rooms were particularly marked, and Amuzi was nowhere in sight.
"Rivera, how about this room?"
"Sure," the tall woman answered. "Any room can work." The two of them entered the room, finding much the same architectural style as the rest of the sanctuary.
"...It's like some otherworldly hotel..." Yu pondered.
"I actually find it creepy that I can't feel the flow of a world here. It's almost like I'm cut off from a part of my body. Oh well, let's get started. Let's get you out of that mangled shirt."
"Right." Yu undid the few remaining buttons on his ruined uniform, placing the clothes aside himself, and wincing in pain as he tried to bend over. "Ow... Without my persona, I'm fairly certain that hit would have killed me."
"Take it easy, Yu-kun. Let me help you." Raiga placed her hand gently on his back and helped him onto the bed. She kicked her shoes off before situating herself behind him, and gently lowering his head onto her lap. "How do you feel right now?"
"Like I got hit by a car," the high schooler responded. "Don't suppose it would surprise you if I said I've been hit by worse before, would it?" Raiga chuckled lightly as she smiled down at him.
"No, you have this look in your eyes that tells me you've seen and done some crazy things." Raiga placed her fingers on his shoulders and then began to glide them up his neck and then back down. "You seem to like to call me "Rivera" now. Do you mind if I ask you why?"
"...Well, I suppose I like the sound of it more than "Raiga". It seems to suit you more. ...It's your real name, isn't it?" Raiga seemed to smile somewhat sadly as she thought on her true name.
"Yeah, it is. I bet you guessed it, but "Raiga" is more of a title than a name. "Raiga" is the title given to those who master Shinryuujin. It's what I'm using to heal you right now. I am the second successor of Shinryuujin. The Second "Lightning Fang"." As Raiga brought her hands down Yu's neck again, she moved them over Yu's chest to his heart. It was as if her hands were magnets, and they pushed and pulled his blood and senses in rhythm. "...Hey, tell me about the big guys you like to summon. There's a crazy story behind them, right? I'll tell you how I met my mentor in return. That story might be just as crazy."
"...Well, that's kind of hard to explain. I suppose... persona are aspects of the mind, formed through bonds. They are..." Yu paused as he thought back to his experiences in that blue limousine... The Velvet Room. "...Persona are the facade one uses to face life's hardships. They're also the proof of overcoming those hardships for me and my friends." Raiga seemed to think on what Yu told her as she worked, processing the words Yu spoke.
"Huh. You know, in a way, that's kind of like how I use "Raiga" as my name now." Yu laughed lightly in response.
"I think it's a little different for us. Would you believe a world exists inside televisions where I come from?" It was then that Raiga had been truly taken aback, and paused her work.
"...Huh? For real?"
"Yes. It was a world that reacted to people's thoughts. And it's how my friends and I obtained our persona. You see, in that world, if you didn't have a persona, a shadow would be formed of you. A shadow represents everything a person doesn't want to admit about theirself. The things they are most ashamed of, without exception." As he spoke, Yu's thoughts couldn't help but be drawn to that one man. "...In my world, someone threw people into TVs, with indirect knowledge that eventually, their shadow would go berserk and kill them. It was a perfect, untraceable way of murdering people." Raiga lightly brushed aside the peeled dead skin from Yu's now healed burn wound. Even as she worked, though, she was ever attentive to Yu's story.
"...That's kind of scary. But, you saved them, didn't you?"
"...At first, no. There were two victims before any of us obtained our persona. One of them was an upperclassman that a friend was... very fond of. This was after the first trip into the TV world. ...Which was an accident, come to think of it..."
"Now don't fret like that, Yu-kun," Raiga assured him. "Even if it seemed like an accident, it was meant to be. You were meant to get that persona, and save people. Just like how I was meant to meet my mentor." Raiga began to focus her attention on his broken ribs, manipulating the flow of his body to heal his bones more quickly.
"...I wasn't born in the best of places," Raiga began. "The city I lived in was out of control, and overrun with gangs. Even going to school had an element of danger to it. But I wasn't scared. No matter what, I knew my brother was right there for me. But that changed when I was twelve." Yu looked down silently, as thought the word "brother" had triggered something in his mind. He remained silent however, letting Rivera continue. "We were attacked by some punks, while they... assaulted me, they slit his throat." Raiga stopped before rubbing Yu's belly with her hand, his chest now fully healed. There was a pain in her eyes, but she was still smiling.
"I was taken to the hospital, and I cried. My sense of security was taken away along with my brother and purity. My parents and I mourned him, and my mother stayed and tried to comfort me. But my heart needed more. As I cried, I prayed for strength, over and over again, and that prayer was answered in a dream. It was in that dream that I met my mentor, and every night, I saw her, and she taught me." Raiga then directed Yu up from his lying position, and he sat so that he was facing her directly.
"I know it sounds weird, but if that day had never happened, I would not be who I am right now. And I love who I am right now," she smiled brightly.
"...I can't imagine what would happen if something like that happened to me. I don't think I could bear to imagine Nanako's face after that," Yu thought out loud. "Oh, sorry. Nanako is my only cousin. She calls me "Big Bro" though, so I treat us more like siblings."
"It's okay, I had a hunch. It was the most painful thing I had ever experienced, I won't brush that aside, but as long as you hold onto some kind of hope or faith, you can find a way to pull through just about anything. I'd like to think that my brother is happy for the way I turned out. Hihihi. Well, barring a few things."
"Somehow, I can already imagine what things those would be." Raiga giggled uncontrollably at Yu's comment. "...It's plain as day to me that you are far more kind than appearances let on, Rivera. You actually remind me a little of one of my friends, Kanji."
"Thanks. And you know, I'm already getting used to being called "Rivera" by you." The two of them smiled warmly at each other, before Raiga turned and got up from the bed. "Come on, let's get you dressed up."
"Alright, I'll just..." It was then that Yu's eyes seemed to snap open with a sudden realization. "...Our stuff is back in the Luaubefit Inn."
"...You're right. Weeeeell, I'm sure if we talk to the Doctor, he'll help us get our stuff back. In the meantime, you could make it a fashion statement to walk around wearing your jacket bare-chested. I'm sure Yarashii will appreciate it~," Raiga teased. Yu pulled his blazer back on, blinking at Raiga's suggestion.
"You think so?"
"You never know," Raiga shrugged playfully. "You're certainly lean, she might find it bold and attractive. Plenty of girls would. You should talk to her, maybe invite her to go exploring around this place with you."
"...Well, it would beat sitting around doing nothing."
"That's the spirit," Raiga smiled. Yu couldn't help but offer a brief smile back, before an inquisitive look took over.
"Say, Rivera..."
"Yeah? What is it?"
"Remember when I talked about shadows? I want an honest answer to this question; If you were suddenly confronted with everything you didn't want to admit about yourself, what would you do?"
"Well, I guess I would probably hug it," Raiga smiled. "I'm not one to hold a grudge, even against myself."
"...Well, I would hope it would just be that simple. Anyway, thanks, Rivera."
"Anytime, Yu-kun." Yu exitted the room with a friendly nod, smiling as he went to go look for Yarashii. Raiga stood there smiling as she thought on what she needed to do next. That's right. She needed to talk to Amuzi. She had questions that needed answers. She left the room, not entirely sure if it was hers or Yu's, but she would find out when she came back to it. In the meantime, she took the elevator down, and wandered in the direction she had seen Amuzi walking off to.
Kirby continued to ride on the head of a hatless Marisa. He missed hiding under its shady brim, and he could tell that she missed it as well, terribly. Kirby rubbed her hair with his stubby little arm in an attempt to make her feel better, though he had a feeling it wouldn't. Still, the little guy was wanted to do his best to comfort her, in any way he could.

X eventually split up with Zero after his best friend stated that he wanted to check up on something. X had a feeling that it was less something and more someone. But X wasn't going to say that straight to his face. Zero wouldn't hold it against him if he did, but X simply didn't feel it was necessary at the moment. There would be no point to it.
Besides, Zero wasn't the only one with someone that he wanted to check up on.
X wondered the almost comically hotel-like facility. He managed to get the hang of the area's mapping, as it was unexpectedly simple and easy to follow. After about fifteen minutes, he managed to find who he was looking for.
"Excuse me. Yu, is it?" he said as he approached the young man from behind.
"I wanted to talk to you for a moment....If it's not too invasive....You're not used to killing people are you?"
-----------------------------------------------------------------
It didn't take Zero long to find the cat-person, along with his true targets. The little girl and the pink puffball.
"Hey," he called out to them as he approached them from the front.
"You guys doing alright? That wasn't any small beating you took from Dormammu. I'd be in your position too if I didn't have backup energy subtanks built into me just for situations like this."
He looked to the cat-girl....That's right. She was in the TARDIS as well...
"You...Yarashii, right? Heard you had it pretty bad. You holding up okay?"

The Pearl Sanctuary Command Center A
Amuzi currently sat in a floating chair in the center of a mid-sized circular room. Five screens were in front of her, two turned off, two showing the landscape of other worlds while the final one had an image of a man with light skin, short black hair, and bright blue eyes. All of these features were rather normal and completely unworthy of noting. However, the man's outfit was the complete opposite of this. It was a red and blue uniform complete with a long red cape and a yellow emblem on his chest with a large "S" in the center. While this would still seem rather unexciting to others, it was particularly interesting to Amuzi since she rarely encountered beings with such obviously heroic appearances.
Standing to the sorceress's right was the same large reploid as before while to her left stood a tall well-built man in a black costume similar to a bat. His cowl had two large pointed ears while his cape was long and ridged at the bottom. On his chest was a black emblem in the shape of a bat.
"Superman..." She started. "Are you sure you don't need help? I have a few teams currently off-duty and I'm sure I can send at least one over there."
He shook his head. "No, that's quite alright. The League should be more than enough for this."
Batman mentally sighed at this. He could easily tell things weren't as good as the Man of Steel was implying.
"How many?"
"Huh?"
"How many have you already lost?"
"..." Superman smiled lightly at the Dark Knight. He should have known he'd be able to tell when he was bluffing. The smile quickly disappeared however as he prepared to reveal how many heroes their world had already lost.
"About a third."
Amuzi leaned back in her chair and massaged her brow while the Caped Crusader placed a hand to his chin, thinking of what to do. He wanted to head back to his own world and help. But he knew he was needed here. The heroes of his world had defeated countless foes and saved the realm dozens of times. He was confident that they'd be able to hold out.
"I'm sending support." The sorceress suddenly said. Her voice strong and authoritative. "I don't care what you say, I'm sending a team. Your world has incredibly powerful warriors and to lose them all simply because you refused aid out of some idiotic idea that it'd protect my troops is foolish and pointless." Superman simply stared at her dumbfounded. He hadn't been allies with the dimensional witch for long, but he was still surprised by her sudden shift in personality. He then nodded in appreciation.
"Thank you."
Amuzi placed a hand on Batman's arm. "Bruce, you go too. It's your world and you should be there to help preserve it. Find Shepard and the Chief and have them go with you. I suggest you put your vehicle in the Normandy as well."
The Dark Knight turned and began to make his way out of the room.
"Watch yourself out there, Mr. Wayne."
"I always do."
After he was gone, Colonel finally spoke up.
"We have a visitor."
"I know, I know."
Command Hallway
Batman swiftly made his way down the long hall, passing by the tall woman who was heading to the dimensional sorceress ahead.
4th Floor Marisa's and Kirby's Room
Yarashii was pleasantly surprised to have the crimson Maverick Hunter approach them. He seemed rather distant in the TARDIS and assumed he was a person who preferred to stay silent.
"Yes, I'm fine now. You know my name, but I don't know yours. I know you're friends with X, but that's really it."
She walked forward and held out a hand to Zero, going for a handshake.

4th Floor Hallway
Yu was somewhat startled by X's sudden question, but his thoughts quickly turned to irritation, as he had to bring that up again. Fighting Amura had been an exceedingly unpleasant experience, and even though he acknowledged that she was too selfish and unstable to let live... he still believed she should have been punished by the laws of that world, rather than simply die like that. However, he had been doing his best not to think about that anymore; mulling over such things often turned people obsessive wrecks.
"Its too invasive." Yu spoke simply, and quickly, picking his stride back up as he went to go find Yarashii... hadn't she been going with Marisa and Kirby, last he saw?
Marisa and Kirby's Room
"I-I'm... alright... urk." Marisa still felt sick... well, not as bad as the time she drank ten of the damn things at once. But it was still pretty bad. And... her hat.... HER SECOND HAT! Such a thing was utterly and completely unforgivable. Not only that, but her entire outfit was ruined to boot. Burnt and charred...
Well, at least she wasn't projectile vomiting anymore.
"...ugh." Marisa fell back on her bed, simultaneously pulling Kirby onto her chest, and holding the little puffball. Her eyes wandered till they found Yarashii, blinking some of the sickness induced delirium out of them. Well, it wasn't exactly her style to go saving people for nothing, but it sure felt good. Sometimes. Though, Zero's comment did elicit a chuckle from the crazy witch.
"Yep, being human is a pain in the ass sometimes, ze." Marisa's voice sounded like she was joking, but... was that all there was to it?

"Wait!" X shouted. He just needed to say one thing.
"I get it. I may be made of metal and wires, but I get it. I've been there....It's painful, but you can't afford to hesitate. If you do, you'll just end up hurting the people you're trying to protect. That's all I wanted to say."
X, as much as he had fought to protect humanity, had little experience with interacting with humans. He had always been surrounded by others like himself. Reploids.
But that didn't change a thing. A person is a person, regardless of their individual parts. It's what the parts are when they all come together that matters.
He could still sympathize with Yu, because he was still the sum of his parts, just like X was. He was a person.

Marisa's Room
Kirby's worried expression changed as he saw Zero, and he waved at the androgynous red robot. Zero was right, Kirby was still in a fair amount of pain, but by that point the puffball just wanted to sleep. He was beginning to drift off when he felt like he was falling, and he landed with a "poof" and a shower of tiny stars as Marisa held him when she collapsed on her bed. Still in his Dark Form, he spat out the black star, and it floated in place in midair. It was so weird, he thought. Every other time, the star containing a power would vanish fairly quickly. This witch must have been someone amazing. When it sounded like Marisa was doubting herself, he shook his head and hugged her with his stubby little arms. Even if she was human, Marisa was an amazing human. Kirby waved at Yarashii as Marisa held him, before deciding it was time to go to sleep. However, as he pulled his sleeping cap out of thin air, he looked at Marisa's bare cranium, and placed his hat on her head instead. It wasn't the same, but it was something.
Command Center
Raiga wandered the halls of the wing she saw Amuzi walk down. So many doors, though the floor was nice enough to lead Raiga towards the person she was looking for. She found herself in front of a room labeled "Command Center A".
"Huh. 'Command Center.' I can't believe I called that." She could could feel the witch and the tall robot from before, as well as another presence which was approaching the door. She stepped aside as a Dark Knight opened the door, offering only the briefest of glances as he walked past her. She caught the door as she heard that she was expected, and figured since they knew she was there, she'd let herself in like a proper visitor... sort of.
"Hi. You aren't busy, are ya? I just wanted to drop by and chat. There are a few questions that've been bugging me, and I wanted to talk to everyone's favorite witch in private. Is that alright?"

"The fact that you're a robot never really crossed my mind, actually." Yu said calmly, "But I've got to ask... did you see me hesitate?" No. He didn't hesitate in that fight. Only once did he pull his punches, but when it ended up coming down to her or them, it ended up being them. That was the only outcome he would allow, they would allow.
".... but. She was still a person. She still had an ego, and a heart, as screwed up as it appeared to be. She deserved to be punished, and locked up..." Though, something occurred to him that he had been overlooking. General Veslir's presence, along with Marianne and her children.
"... huh. Maybe she was punished properly by Racamgi's laws after all." What that woman had done... that offense was punishable by death, was it not? Warping that many knights, ending in so many of their deaths... yes, he could see that punishable by execution. After all, mass murderers in his world almost always got the death sentence as well... Even still, he'd been a part of that. Before he could think about it further, a new voice popped up.
"I would imagine she was." Yu looked up, seeing Jade walking down the hall with him, "X speaks the truth on this matter, I will admit. And you're alot more... level-headed than a certain someone I knew... well, he lacked common sense as well, but no matter." Yu couldn't help but feel his eye twitch a little. Exactly who was Jade comparing him to?!
Marisa and Kirby's Room
Marisa's eyes widened as Kirby gave her his cap, and she reached up, feeling it on her head.
''W-Wait... you're giving me this, ze?" I-I don't know what... D'aaaaw, you're so awesome little guy!" Marisa grinned as she gave the little puffball a big friggin hug, rubbing her face on top of his head. It was pretty apparent that Kirby's little gesture meant alot to the otherworldly witch.

The Pearl Sanctuary ~ Carl's Room[/u]
Carl silently walked into his room and looked around. It was rather nice. Blue carpeting, a large clean bed, and even a bathroom with a shower connected. There was a small table to the side with a few chairs around as well. He smiled as he studied the room. In all honesty, it reminded him of his room back at the manor. Except, of course, it was seriously lacking in red.
"Heh... I think I can get used to this place." He looked at the maid next to him. "So what now? We just sit here and do absolute crap until we're needed?"
