Name: "Lyla" Lillian Skylee
Age: Appears to be about 20
Species: Slime Girl
Race: British, lived in New York the last five years. No one stands out in New York. No one.
Character Class: Offensive Specialist
Appearance: In her human disguise, Lyla is seen as a normal looking 5'9 girl with a somewhat slim, if attractive physique. Her eyes are a featureless deep blue, and a little jarring at close observation because Lyla's irises lack the fine details of a normal human's eyes. Her hair is a vibrant and shimmering sky blue that is staggeringly long, reaching all the way down to her ankles. Her clothes are oddly simple for her outlandish appearance; a simple black t-shirt, a pair of blue denim cargo pants, and sneakers.
In her true form, Lyla is a light blue slime girl, with vibrant, almost neon green colored irises. Her physical traits in her human form are based off her natural appearance, meaning her general body type tens to be the same. In place of legs though, her lower melts into a mound of slime, which she can move around surprisingly easily on. While her black t-shirt remains in place, her pants, shoes, and undergarments float in her lower body in this form.
Physique: Lyla's lack of any sorts of muscles in her true form means that her strength is proportional to her will. This ends up meaning that as long as she can hold her body together solidly, she ends up having great physical strength, which somehow manages to transfer to her human form. This ends up causing quite a few problems for her... but, mostly, it just ends up being really useful.
Personality: Lyla is an exuberant person in almost everything she does, and is fairly cheerful. As a non-human, she grew up learning magic she could use to fit into society, and is somewhat naive, as the first ten years of her life were spent learning how to conceal what she was as she was home schooled. Because of this, she missed having any sort of childhood, and tries to make up for it the only way she knows how; being very friendly to other people, sometimes to the point of persistence.
While friendly, Lyla is also a bit of a hot head, and she ends up being quick to retort against sleights towards her or her friends. She almost seems like she's got far too much pent up energy, and is constantly having to do something with her hands; whether that ends up being playing with her hair, or doodling in her sketchbook depends on the situation. Interrupting her can often result in some... creative remarks, that are often hard to classify as insults.
One thing Lyla has a serious stigma with is betrayal. Should someone whom she considered a friend harm her, she takes it extremely personally, even more so if she was harmed emotionally. Whatever caused her to have this stigma was evidently so bad in her eyes that she repressed the memory of it.
Grades: Her grades in high school were somewhat above average, but she dislikes science classes alot.
Academic Major: Art
Years of College Attended: She is a 1st year student, fresh into the experience of college.
Enrolled Classes:
Writing Fiction: 8:05 AM - 9:00 AM MWF
Beginning Drawing: 12:00 PM - 2:30 PM MW
Beginning Painting: 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM TR
Ancient Mythology and Legends: 4:10 PM - 5:00 PM MWF
Weapon: No permanent weapon; varies.
Subweapon: None
Element: Lightning - Lyla has an inherent control over lightning that is as natural as breathing, but unfortunately, it can disrupt her human disguise if used. She is capable of using it for both lethal and destructive purposes, and can wield it with enough raw force to blast holes straight through the walls in an average civilian building.
Abilities:
- Pale Imitation of Creation: Lyla's body is not only amorphous, but the magic that her mother taught her to blend into society ended up being far more versatile than it was originally intended to be; by tweaking the original magic several times, Lyla is able to take the form of others almost perfectly, aside from their eyes and accent. She is capable of creating entirely new human forms as well, but even more importantly, she can use it to make a weapon formed from her body look like the real thing almost flawlessly, and almost make it function as well.... even if the real thing happens to be from a video game. There are natural limitations, as she is not actually giving herself new weapons or powers; she is using her body, and the power over lightning to create reasonable facsimiles. However, Lyla has some pale imitations that she loves above the others... whether its fangirlism, or utility, is up for debate. If she needs something new, she can make it, but she's practiced some things more than others.
- Lightning Body ~ Double Edged Power: Lyla's "natural" state of being an amorphous creature that can electrify her entire body is both a massive strength, and a rough weakness when water is involved. While she can make herself an insurmountable obstacle in melee combat, she can also be completely shut down by being drenched, pushed, or otherwise soaked in water while in slime girl form. The electricity coursing through her body rapidly runs out of her, and leaves her relatively defenseless, and weakened to the point where the formation of her body becomes hindered to the point where she can no longer form properly bladed weapons. Without absorbing electricity from an outside source, she cannot further manipulate lightning, nor can she even use magic. The only plus is that her tolerance of pain is dulled, because she seems slower and less aware in this state.
- Lightning Discharge ~ Last Resort: However, sometimes, Lyla cannot avoid an incredibly dangerous situation, and needs to use all of her power in one, brutal burst. This does that. By violently discharging all of her power, Lyla essentially leaves herself crippled as above, but at least it is on her own terms. Lyla can discharge electricity in a sphere around herself, or more brutally, grab someone and discharge it directly into them. The voltage is high enough to cause any living organism that doesn't resist electricity to spontaneously combust after a short time of exposure..
Money: 598.00 £ ; Lyla was given a large amount of spending money after expenses by her mother.
Items: A large amount of art supplies and a portfolio, her own computer, a PS3 with several games and controllers, a large flat screen TV. Among other things, she has a Kirby plushy, and an Arcueid plushy.
Vehicle: A jeep cherokee, brought over from America
