Carl nodded at Yu's decision. Silently happy that at least one of his new friends would be joining him. Raiga's decision to come along was also another source of relief. Although he had slightly hoped that she would head to the camp, mainly to help keep an eye on Suna. Although, maybe he was simply worrying too much. Even if Kazuya was going with them, they still had Jade and Zero to help keep the peace. Plus, this Julius fellow seemed like a good person. The undead man shook his head, clearing away any doubts.
Hilde silently nodded at Alucard, giving him permission to head back to the main camp with the others. The more eyes she had on Kazuya, the better. Part of her was glad he was going to the camp since, in that case, he'd have eyes on him at all times. But another part of her was worried since he would be so close to Soul Calibur. She did not doubt Siegfried, Alucard, or Julius, but...she was still worried.
"Alright. So we each have our groups and destinations." The female knight turned and began walking away, ZWEI and the other mercenaries following her, leaving about a quarter of the crates and horses for the others. "Everyone be careful. We'll meet you at the camp later on."
Carl bid farewell to Suna with a quick wave. Of course, such a half-heart goodbye wasn't enough for her and she gave him a quick embrace, briefly nuzzling her head on his shoulder. She released him and, with a smile, said "Don't do anything reckless, okay?"
"Ha, we're just going to the capital. Seriously, what can happen?"
Suna's smile faded as soon as Carl turned and walked away, hurrying along to catch up with his group. She looked at Yu, Raiga, and X as they, too, went to join their group.
Yu, Carl, Raiga, and X with Hilde. Jade, Zero, Kazuya, and her with Julius and Alucard. Both groups seemed able to take care of themselves and, truthfully, she should have been more worried about her own since she had Kazuya.
But she could not shake off this feeling within.
No, she was just nervous. That had to be it.
Suna looked at Julius. "Well, I guess we're ready to head out whenever you are." She then noticed the three horses carrying wagons, each one packed with a few crates of supplies.
She could not resist.
"Oh! Dibs on a horse!" The maid said excitedly as she scrambled over to one of the steeds and climbed onto its saddle, grabbing its reins and gently pulling on them. The horse took notice and immediately moved closer to Julius and the others, signaling it was ready to move out.

Capital City Group
"So...out of curiosity." Carl started, looking from Raiga to Yu. "Why'd you two decide to come with this group? I mean, yeah, Raiga-" He indicated her with his thumb. "-said she wanted to see the city and stuff but...that's not really all there is to it, right? And what about you, Yu? Felt like seeing the city too?" The reaper glanced at the blue Maverick Hunter. "I'm not asking you since the whole 'you're a better diplomat' excuse that Zero said totally makes sense."
ZWEI looked behind him, his gray eyes focusing on the four other-worldly people. "You know..." He said as he indicated the four vacant horses walking alongside their group. "You guys don't have to travel by foot. We've got some horses."
Hilde's voice popped up from the front of the group, slight annoyance present in her tone. "While ZWEI shouldn't be making such offers without asking me first, yes. If any of you should tire walking, simply hop onto one of the steeds."

-Jade-
Jade laughed as Suna excitedly scrambled onto the horse. She was quite lucky the steed had such a pleasant disposition, that was for certain. He would have made a joke about his age, but in this instance, he was almost certain that Julius was older than him. However, on yet another new world, Jade was again uncertain of how the year was measured here. That could all wait, of course.
"Suna, do be careful you don't upset the poor thing. The last thing we need is you getting your leg broken." Which was true, definitely. The level of civilization here was lower than Auldrant and Racamgi's, particularly the latter's, by far. Simple injuries here could give way to any number of complications or infections, which he certainly couldn't fix. Healing magic was, after all, forever out of his reach, and Yu was with the group headed to the capital.... I was a bother, all in all. That, and despite how pleasant Suna was, she was a liability. There was no way Jade could get past that fact, even though he was at least polite enough to not bring it up right away... Probably the only one, in hindsight. He was almost certain Kazuya would take great pleasure rubbing it in their places if anything came of it. He could see the others pointing it out, but none of them would be malicious about it, at least.
What a bother, indeed.
-Yu-
That certainly was a loaded question, Yu thought. Carl and Rivera were going, as well as X. Already, it was a far more pleasant lot than the one going to the camp.
"... Huh. I wonder." Yu spoke aloud as he walked, thinking about why that could be. A small part was his tactical mind assigning extra weight to their group just incase something went wrong, but really... even though Suna was quite nice, and Jade wasn't bad company at all, he preferred this group for some reason. Maybe he was just being fickle.
"... I guess this group seemed more pleasant. Kazuya isn't very... pleasant to be around." No matter how he tried, he never could see anything redeeming in the man when he was around him. He made no effort to make allies of anyone through being a pleasant and agreeable person, and thinking about it... he was just rude. Like if Morooka was physically threatening.
"... martial artist King Moron." Yu muttered quietly to himself. He was certain Yosuke and Chie would be horrified at the thought of that.

Raiga looked back and forth between Carl and Yu as Carl asked his loaded question. The way he had said it was almost as if he thought...
"Huh? "Us two"? Oh no, Carl. You make it sound as if the two of us are an item," she giggled. "Yu's a sweet kid, and fun to tease, but... well, he's a little too young for me." It was an odd thing for her to say, considering she looked like she was in her twenties. "Or maybe "I'm too old for him" is more accurate," she mused. "In any case, our relationship isn't as intimate as you seem to imply. I'm a single woman." Raiga continued to walk along side everyone as Hilde and ZWEI rode horses. It wasn't that she had anything against the noble animals, but she simply need have the necessity for them. Besides, she was still getting a feel for the alien world she found herself in. And considering it seemed to be controlled by black and white forces, it seemed to be a tad resistant to her ambiguities.
Camp Group
Suna soon found a black stallion pull up next to her as she climbed her horse, and sitting on top of the steed was none other than the pinstriped dhampir. He nodded toward Julius, allowing him to lead the way as Alucard would kept the rear. The pale man was keen to keep an eye on everyone, Kazuya in particular. He noticed himself riding next to the maid who approached him earlier, Hayashi, if he recalled correctly. He paid her little mind though as his watch was diligent.

((Sorry for not posting I was waiting for Advix to post, and I hadn't realized that he did 3 days ago.))
Camp Group
Julius led the group on an inconspicuous brown horse. He made no effort to converse with the others since there was nothing that he needed to say. Instead, he kept his attention on the path ahead and the forest around him. Ambushes were so common in this war that it had almost become cliche. They were almost always predictable, which defeats the point of the ambush. So long as he kept his eyes open, he doubted there would be much trouble.
Zero and Kazuya remained silent as well, for their own reasons. Zero wasn't one for small talk like some of the others in this group were, and Kazuya wanted to keep aggravating them by being stoic if he could. The more they disliked him, the more wary they would be. Ergo, the more vigilant they would be of potential threats.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
City Group
X, perhaps out of habit, stationed himself in front of the rest of the group. He acknowledged Carl's comment on his reason for joining this particular group. but when the topic had suddenly taken an odd turn by Raiga....
"If you'll beg my pardon Raiga, I don't think that's what Carl was insinuating. He just wanted to know Yu's reason for joining this squad. Yu doesn't come off as much of a sight seer in my eyes, so it's a reasonable question."

Carl's eye twitched at Raiga's misunderstanding. Did his question really sound like that? He was sure it did not but...no, she was obviously just messing with him. X then spoke up for him and the reaper gave a sigh of relief.
"Thank you, X. Yeah, that's exactly right."
So, Yu joined this group because it seemed more comfortable than the other. That made complete sense. Any group without Kazuya was definitely good. Raiga did not exactly answer his question but, truthfully, Carl was a tad bit afraid that anything else he said would be confused by the woman and give him even more disturbing images. Seriously the mere implication of her and Yu...
Carl rapidly shook his head, doing his best to get the unpleasant image out of his mind.
Camp Group
Suna laughed away Jade's concern for her. "Don't worry, I'll be fine." She was not sure if he was cautioning her because he cared or because her taking an injury would be inconvenient. She knew that she offered very little to the group. In fact, she was a significant liability. She had no ways to defend herself. The only real skills she had were related to medicine and cooking, both of which were not entirely too useful in a fight. The silence within the group allowed the maid time to think of all this. She knew that everyone else must have known as well, yet they were all too nice to really mention it.
Except Kazuya. She was pretty sure the man just did not give a damn.
Suna placed a finger to her lower lip as she thought. Maybe she could ask someone to teach her how to fight? No, no, everyone was far too busy to waste time teaching her anything. Plus, it was not like she could learn how to effectively fight in a single night. It would take months, at the very least, and no one had that much time to spare.
Suna's eyes wandered and she suddenly noticed the gorgeous white-haired man from before. He was riding his own horse, a beautiful black steed, and seemed to simply looking ahead. Of course he would pay no attention to her, things were far too serious to allow such a thing. He was probably keeping his eyes open for any possible threats.
She said nothing and kept her eyes forward. Part of her was wishing she had gone with the other group now. This one was far too serious for her liking.
*********************************************
Hours passed as each group traveled to their destinations. One having a plentiful number of conversations and the other simply lying within its silence. The sky had turned a dark blue and the full moon crept behind the gray clouds within the sky. Night had arrived.
City Group
The group had stopped near a small forest and the mercenaries were busy setting up camp for the night. Several were walking about unpacking crates while others were helping to set up tents. Hilde had just finished setting up one and was currently walking around, checking on everyone. She had a particular task in mind for her otherworldly visitors, however. The first two she came across were Carl and Yu. She still did not fully trust the cloaked man but she knew it was foolish to needlessly bother him. After all, they needed s much help as they could get. On top of that, she was far more concerned with the scarred martial artist from before. Hopefully that group was doing well.
"Narukami. Makkura." It was impossible to keep the distaste out of Carl's name. The man's narrowing of his eyes showed he caught it, but he said nothing about it. Hilde continued as if nothing happened. "Can you two get Raiga and head into the forest to get some wood for us?"
"What about X?" Carl asked.
"I have another task for him. ZWEI is already looking for him."
The cloaked man looked at Yu. He did not want to drag him into doing something he did not want to, even if it was as simple as gathering firewood, so he simply deferred the decision to him.
-------------------------------------------------
ZWEI wandered around the camp, asking his fellow mercenaries if they had seen the azure-armored Maverick Hunter known as X. He found him after a few more minutes of searching, he stuck out like a sore thumb after all, and approached him.
"Hey X." The werewolf started. "Hilde wants you and me to head into the woods to get some water. There's a river in there, so it shouldn't take long to find. You up for it?"
Camp Group
The group could see a rather large settlement up ahead. There was a tall wooden barrier circling the encampment and wooden gates at the front. Two guards stood ahead. They tensed up at first, preparing for battle, but relaxed once they saw Julius and Alucard leading the group.
One of the guards nodded at them. "Sir Julius. Sir Alucard. The Captain has been expecting you." He went silent as he looked over the group. "Where are Lady Wolfkrone and Sir ZWEI? As well as the rest of the group?"

"Wood gathering?" Raiga spoke up. She was perched in a tree branch above them, casually reclined. "...Sure, I can help." She rolled over to one side, hanging from the branch before dropping down beside them. "My nose can find some nice dead kindling for us to burn. And between the three of us, chopping it shouldn't be an issue." She looked back and forth between Yu and Carl, waiting for their approval.
Camp Group
Alucard hung back, allowing Julius to explain the details. Alucard had never been a very wordy person. However, as Alucard maintained the rear, a handful of bats began to flitter their way towards the dhampir, and melted into his regal black cloak.

"We decided it would be prudent to divide the group," Said Julius. "Those who went with Zwei are headed for the capitol to meet with Viola. If you'll let us through, I can explain all of this to your commander in person."
Security was so tight in this day and age. Back in the nineties, a man with the proper connections could have simply made a phone call on a secure if he wanted to talk to someone of high ranking military status. Here, you had to either visit the officer personally or send a letter, which would no doubt he tested for poisonous taint and forgery before being sent to the recipient.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

X saluted. It was a simple task, but even simple tasks had relevance. Especially during this time period. Humans needed large quantities of water to survive since their bodies were mostly made of it. Reploids had need for water too, since it was used to create many of their necessities, such as liquid polish and joint lubrication spray. But for humanity, it was almost as precious as life itself.
"Understood. I'll grab a pail and make my way to the river ASAP."
And so he did. He grabbed a bucket from one of the supply crates and began scouting for the river. Humans needed water to survive

Hilde nodded in appreciation. "Be careful out there. It would be unfortunate if any of you got injured before the fighting even started." And with that, the female knight walked away, off to attend to business somewhere else.
Carl sighed once she was out of earshot. "She really doesn't like me, does she? Pfft, not my fault I'm dead." He walked towards the edge of the camp, stopping in front of the forest and looking towards Raiga. "So, you wanna go first? After all, you said your nose could find some decent firewood. Only makes sense, right?"
-------------------------------------------------------------------
ZWEI nodded, grabbing his own two buckets and going after X, catching up to him and walking alongside him as they entered the forest.
"Alright, it shouldn't be too hard to find in here..."
Schwarzwind Camp
"Understood." The guard replied. "The Captain is in the tent neat the end of the camp." He stepped to the side while the other one opened the gate, allowing Julius and his group to enter.
The camp itself was actually very large. There were dozens of large tents, each housing a few mercenaries. Some tents also seemed to have specific purposes as the group could see a few designated for the injured. Several campfires blazed about, each with their own group of mercenaries circled around them, eating, talking, and laughing. Indeed, it seemed like the whole camp was in a rather merry mood.
It was at this point that a large armored man took notice of the group and began approaching them. He had light skin and long, neat, blonde hair, with a deep scar running down the right side of his face. Light stubble ran across his chin and jaw line while his blue eyes were those of a leader and a warrior who had witnessed, and possibly committed, terrors beyond most people's comprehension. His armor was a dark grey and had a golden eagle-like emblem embedded on the chest. The man was undeniably handsome, yet he had a serious aura about him.
He looked at Julius and Alucard and nodded respectfully. "I am glad to see you return safely." His eyes studied the group, noticing some of his allies were absent. "I assume Hilde and the others had other business to attend to. I see you also brought more guests." His tone was flat, showing neither approval nor disapproval.
Then, a hint of a smile appeared. "Well then, we could always use more blades against the malfested." He turned his attention to the other-worldly beings.
"I am Siegfried Schtauffen, captain of Schwarzwind."
Suna was not entirely sure how to respond. The logical part of her knew to introduce herself in response, but another part of her could not help but be excited at how much Siegfried reminded her of the heroes she would see in books about medieval knights and such.
The emerald maid performed a quick bow. "It is an honor to meet you Captain Schtauffen. I am Suna Hayashi."
He nodded at her and looked at the others, awaiting their introductions.

ZWEI and X wandered a fair distance from the camp before they found a stream cutting through the woods. However, as they drew near to fill their pails, they could hear something over the babble of the water. Someone was humming, and that someone was humming a fairly relaxing tune. Although, there was a certain uncanny quality to the hum that ZWEI couldn't quite put his finger on. It sounded slightly malfested to him, but to X it meant something entirely different. The humming had a slight reverb to it. This hum wasn't natural. It was being produced by something man-made.
Raiga lead the way into the woods as Carl and Yu followed her. Her nose seemed awfully keen as she casually sniffed out dead wood, and fallen trees. "No need to go overboard, let's just snap some branches off. Two or three full branches should give us enough odds and ends for kindling before using the thicker stuff to keep it going. Maybe drag a few more, for good measure." As Raiga snapped a good dead branch clean from its base, she turned her attention to Carl.
"So, Carl, how come you came here with us instead of going off with Suna-chan?"
Schwarzwind Encampment
Alucard dismounted his horse along with everyone else as they entered the camp of the Captain. Even after being addressed by Siegfried, Alucard offered a respectful nod and continued to hang behind the rest of the group. Though he had proven to be exceptionally watchful, he seemed all the more intent now that Kazuya was inside the camp with Siegfried and the Spirit Sword. He remained behind the group as opposed to by Siegfried's side, though that did not mean that he would leave Siegfried uninformed. A small bat fluttered to Siegfried's shoulder, whispering the dhampir's concerns.

ZWEI's gray eyes widened and he looked up, gritting his teeth in annoyance and preparation for battle. A malfested?! Here? So close to the camp?
"Damn..." He growled. "If there's one malfested then there's probably more. X, we need to check this out."
Without waiting for the blue maverick hunter's response he took out his sword and moved forward, heading towards the source of the noise. He stopped once he saw it, though. The werewolf looked towards X, his eyes briefly studying him, before looking back at the source of the humming and indicating it with his thumb.
"...Is that someone you know?"
------------------------------------------
Two long arms sprouted from the darkness of Carl's cloak, branching off towards nearby trees and looking for suitable branches. The reaper turned his head to look at Raiga and raised an eyebrow.
"Curious? Well, I figured that, out of the two paths, this one had the highest chance of being dangerous. Suna isn't a fighter, so I told her to head to the camp since that's probably safer. Of course, Kazuya being with them sort of blows that point to hell."
He sighed and massaged his brow. "I think I might be worrying more than I would be if she came with us. Can't trust that guy." Indeed, Carl was worried about the emerald maid. He could rely on Jade and even Zero, but Kazuya had a darkness within him. He reminded him of Krizno in that respect, although his attitude and rudeness was far worse than the lightning demon's ever were. He hoped the man did not try anything, but if Carl got to the camp and saw Kazuya's corpse...well, it would not be so bad.

-Jade-
"Pleasure to make your acquaintance Captain Schtauffen. I'm Colonel Jade Curtiss, 3rd division Malkuth Imperial Forces." The colonel made his own bow.
"If extra blades are what you need, then we are certainly here to provide."
-Yu-
Yu quietly agreed with Carl as he picked up firewood; leaving someone like Suna, who, as far as he knew, had no way of defending herself, with someone like Kazuya... well, knowing what he knew now, it seemed like leaving someone alone with Adachi.
Except far more burly and unpleasant. Though... Kazuya, outwardly, at least didn't seem THAT crazy.
"Well, now, if you were so worried, why didn't you say so?" Suddenly, Yukari's voice sounded in Yu's head, causing his eyes to widen for a moment.
"...If you can, please."
"Well then, let's see... nope. Nothing happening. And my my my... we don't have any men like that back in Gensokyo. Not Since Youki Konpaku in his prime, at any rate." Yu raised an eyebrow, but said nothing as Yukari yawned loudly.
"Well then, I'll keep in touch... but for now, a nap." And just like that, the connection vanished, leaving Yu a touch more confused than he had been previously.
"... that woman is odd." Yu muttered out loud, picking up another branch.

X shook his head and gestured to be quiet. He moved slowly towards the source of the noise, trying to avoid immediate detection. Once he was in sight, he saw two robotic figures. One was roughly the same size as him. He had a red and silver frame with gold lining. His build was very reploid-like, with bulky arms and legs, a large curved, red and gold pauldron covering his left shoulder, and there was even a red helmet atop his head, with a beak-like visor and three prongs pointing back. However, he had no face, only a silver featureless head with a red strip of optical sensors. His right arm was also different from his standard looking left arm. It was white and silver, and an odd elbow connected his upper arm to a large, shield-like forearm. It appeared he was the source of the humming as he hummed to a smaller, apparently female robot. She had a slender blue and white frame, with a blue and white, dome-like helmet with green and silver details. She had the face of a young woman, with bluish silver hair, and bright green eyes. They were very reploid-like in appearance, but his scanners begged to differ. His readings showed various inconsistencies with typical reploid design. They were most likely some other kind of robotic being.
"Excuse me," X finally said, popping out from behind a tree. "You're in close proximity to a military caravan. I'm going to have to ask you to identify yourself."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Camp Group
"Zero. Special A-Rank Maverick Hunter." Zero's introduction was short and simple. He doubted that this Siegfried knew what a Maverick Hunter was, but he also pegged that at the moment, he didn't care.
"Kazuya," said the red-eyed human. He'd considered not stating his name at all, but it was clear to him that this was a man that he wanted to work with, not against. He had the look of a ruthless and self-righteous man. One wrong move, and he would probably have no qualms with alienating Kazuya from the rest of the group. If Kazuya could make Siegfried suspicious enough of him to keep the knight on his toes, but not enough to make him want to sabotage the martial artist's efforts, he could provoke the paladin into acting brashly sometime down the road. That would give him an edge.
While Kazuya schemed, Julius dismissed the rest of the pleasantries and went straight to discussing business.
"They've all been briefed on the general situation. They know about Soul Edge, Soul Calibur, and our search for the missing pieces. What they need now is specifics. What is our next objective?"

The female robot looked quickly over to X, and pulled what appeared to him as a laser rifle from her back, pointing at him defensively.
"Now now, Shifu. He means no harm," The red robot spoke up. "He did after all beg for our pardon." With that, the blue robot snapped the rifle back to her backside. "You'll have to excuse my lieutenant. She can be quite reactive when startled. I am Krez, co-commander of the Patriots. A police unit from my world. You seem to be just as out of place as we are," he spoke to X. "I would like to think that this encounter is more than mere coincidence. Perhaps we are meant to help one another. Would you be at all opposed to us joining you? You mentioned you were part of a military caravan, did you not? I'm given the impression our goals are not dissimilar."

It made more sense now. These two people weren't malfested, they were simply from a different world. He drew his sword when the female aimed her weapon at them, but put it away after she was calmed by her male ally. So they weren't obviously hostile but...the male, Krez, seemed to be a tad bit too friendly for his liking. It had not even been five minutes since they met and he was already asking to come along with them? It was possible he was being genuine and wanted to help, but ZWEI learned long ago not to trust people so quickly.
The werewolf took a step forward.
"What are you two doing here? How'd you get here anyways?"
-----------------------------------------------------------
Carl, Yu, and Raiga continue gathering wood in relative silence. That is, until something loudly stepped on a branch several feet behind the group. The reaper immediately turned to look at the culprit, taking out a scythe and holding it forward, ready to strike at a moment's notice.
All hostility within him left when he saw he was holding his blade towards a young woman. She had shoulder-length blonde hair, green eyes, pale skin, and a small amount of freckles. A blue ribbon was tied on the right side of her head and she wore an elegant white dress with long leather boots and a brown shirt with gloves. She had a small blue and gold shield strapped to her left arm and a silver sword hanging from the right side of her waist. All-in-all, she was a rather pretty woman.
She released an alarmed squeak when faced with Carl's scythe and simply stared at him, panic slowly starting to creep onto her face.
"I'm sorry..." She mumbled apologetically.
The reaper was confused by this and took a step back, his scythe melting into the darkness. "Whoa, wait, what? Why're you apologizing? Who are you anyways?"
She was obviously nervous and averted her eyes from him. "I-I came here to get some firewood and then I heard other people. So, I...I came to check it out. I didn't mean to startle you."
Carl looked at Yu and Raiga, unsure of what to say.
"Oh, oh, sorry, forgot to introduce myself. My name's Pyrrha." She then performed a quick, polite, and overly apologetic bow.
Schwarzwind Camp
Siegfried nodded silently as the dhampir's bat relayed its information. Kazuya...he was a man he would need to keep a close eye on. Thankfully, having Alucard in charge of that gave him little cause for concern. But he would not be letting his guard down around the man. Such a thing is what inexperienced rookies did. Siegfried looked at Julius, noting he wanted to get straight to business.
"Until we find the holy sword's chosen wielder, there is little else we can do. Until then, I suggest you all grab something to eat and get a good night's rest. We'll have some tents set up for you." It was obvious the last part was directed towards the newcomers. "Tomorrow we shall see if any of you are fit to wield Soul Calibur. Now, if there's nothing else..."
The captain nodded farewell and turned away from the group, tapping the shoulders of a few mercenaries who walked by and instructing them to set up additional tents for them. Suna was not entirely sure what to do at this time and looked around at all the other people sitting around their own campfires with their own groups of friends. There were some tables already set up, each with food cooked over a fire. It was certainly less fancy than what she had grown accustomed to in the mansion, but it had a nice outdoors feel to it. As if she were camping.
"I wonder if they have marshmallows in this world..." Suna mumbled to herself.

X lowered his arm. He wasn't hostile, but he was certainly far too friendly to be an ally.
"Even if we give you the benefit of the doubt, we have no reason to trust you. You're a complete stranger offering assistance for unclear reasons."
X mulled over his options. He could have let them go. Told them to leave. But that would be naive, not to mention a breach of protocol. Suspicious individuals are to be reprimanded and brought into questioning....
So that was what he was going to do.
"Lay down whatever arms you have. If you're as trustworthy as you claim to be, you won't object to questioning."

Kazuya simply snubbed the knight and began to search for a secluded place to train. Julius, meanwhile, patrolled the camp. Someone had to keep watch while the other offworlders chatted around the campfire. Besides, it was always prudent to check on the guards. They may have been trained soldiers, but even they were prone to bouts of drowsiness, and would no doubt appreciate a slap to the back of the head every once in a while.
