Europe, 1607 A.D.KlausenburgIt was a rather beautiful day. The sun was out, the sky was clear, and the birds chirped as they flew through the air. The large European town was filled with people going about their own business. Some carrying wooden crates filled with supplies while others simply walked about, chatting with their friends. Yes, it was a rather beautiful day indeed. Unfortunately, Patroklos Alexander found it impossible to share such a sentiment. He had recently finished killing several malfested in the town of Odenburg, but yet was still unable to locate the malfested who took his younger sister. He was instructed by the Graf of the area, Dumas, to head to this city next. Klausenburg. Here he had slain many more malfested, hoping to draw the attention of his true target. Many days had passed and Patroklos felt he was close to finding that woman. Until this man appeared. The man standing in front of him had short black hair, a torn purple vest with chains hanging from the sides, and black pants. This man had called Patroklos a murderer and the two swiftly battled, with the holy knight being the victor. Until this man became serious and summoned a beast of some kind that swiftly turned the tables. Now Patroklos found himself lying on the pavement, with a silver blade pointed at his face. "Nothing's gonna change as long as you're under Dumas' thumb." The man smiled cockily and continued. "Did he ever actually give you any clue as to your sister's whereabouts?" Patroklos glared at him. "What do you know about her?" Silence fell between the two. Finally, the spirit-like wolf creature behind the man dissipated and he sheathed his blade, turning and walking away. Patroklos stood up. "Hey! Answer me!" The man stopped. "Why don't you ask Dumas for some answers for once?" He then kept moving, leaving Patroklos alone with his thoughts. **************************** The man, named ZWEI, continued walking and turned into an isolated alleyway between two buildings. His shoes quietly echoed against the cobblestone floor as he mused on what had just transpired. "Hopefully that idiot will listen..." It was at this time that a flash of light appeared before him. He held an arm in front of his eyes, shielding them from the blinding light. In front of him, lying on the ground, were two unfamiliar people. A man in a black cloak with chains around his arms, and a young woman with emerald hair in a green and black dress. The cloaked man coughed. "Goddamn it...that...that wasn't fun. At all." ZWEI raised an eyebrow at this. [[ Everyone fall on top of Carl and Suna! DOGPILE ON CARL AND SUNA, YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! Also, do not forget to check Pearl Sanctuary in case you want to respond to that too.]]

-Yu-
Yu landed on top of Suna and Carl quick abruptly; right as Carl said "all" infact. The persona user groaned as he pulled himself up, thankfully landing on something soft, as he pull himself up to a sitting position while his vision normalized.
"That was... rough." Unfortunately for Yu...
-Jade-
It wasn't more than a few second later that Jade Curtiss appeared in a flash of light, landing directly beside the gaggle of bodies that made up his companions.
"Well now, that was certainly the rough trip... it skewed my glasses right after I'd just fixed them." As the colonel fixed his glasses, he quietly noted that Yu had indeed landed on Carl and Suna... with on hand on Carl's face on the other on Suna's chest.
"... oh dear. Yu, I didn't know you had it in you!" The persona user gave him a blank stare, before looking down.
".... whoops."

The fall felt like an brief moment for Raiga, but that moment was a miserable one. She landed with a plop on top of Carl and Suna, and could only groan before Yu appeared above her. She threw herself rolling to one side just in time to see Yu sexually harass Suna. She picked herself up with a grumble, and began to shake her head at the sight before her. "Yu-kun, how could you?" It was then that she began to notice the rest of her surroundings, namely the young man staring at them.
"Uuuh, hi, there. What 'cha up to?"

X, Zero and Kazuya all landed gracefully on their feet. For once, all three of them were like-minded. They all began taking in the scenery, in order to get a hold of where they were.
"Low tech world, I'm guessing." Zero commented. "The landscape doesn't show any signs of being artificially preserved." X nodded in agreement.
"Let's keep our eyes open," X responded. "We should learn as much as we can about this world before taking any major actions. For all we know, the natives..."
And speaking of natives, a silver haired humanoid gentleman was standing aside of the group, raising an eyebrow at them. Kazuya was the first to pipe up, though X regretted not doing so first.
"You. Tell us where we are."

Suna released the slightest sensual moan at Yu's touch, quickly forcing herself to close her mouth and be silent; a deep red blush appearing on her face. Carl saw the persona user accidentally molest his friend through the spaces between Yu's fingers and wasted no time in voicing his disapproval.
"Hey, hey, hey!! Suna's MY maid, not yours! You can't touch her like that!"
This only deepened the emerald-haired girl's blush and she pushed herself out of the pile of people, placing a hand on her chest to help steady her erratic breathing. Carl followed and briefly turned into dark energy, slipping out of the dogpile and reforming a few feet away.
The silver-haired man observed the mysterious people, but this was interrupted by a muscular man with black hair and a glowing left eye. The man stepped in front of him and demanded to know where they were. Normally, ZWEI would not have a problem answering such a thing, but the man's tone annoyed him. He sounded like he was giving an order, not a request.
"Y'know...I don't think I like your tone." ZWEI started, taking his sword in hand. "You just pop in out of nowhere and start talking like you're the king or something. Not a good way to start out when you have no idea where you are or who you're dealing with."
Before things could escalate, a woman's voice rang out from behind him.
"ZWEI. Stop."
He knew that voice and, honestly, he had actually forgotten she had even come with him to this city. They had taken their separate ways when they first arrived in Klausenburg, since both had different things to do, but it seemed like the woman was done. ZWEI turned his head slightly, looking at his friend with one eye.
She was a young woman with remarkably pale skin, red eyes, and long, curled, white hair. She wore a purple and black dress similar in style to gothic lolita and her laced stockings had several lines crossing over it, making the design look as if there was a moth trapped in a spider's web. She wore a black hooded cape that split down the back, making it look like retracted wings. On her right hand, she had elongated rings on each finger, excluding the thumb, that looked similar to claws. She looked like a fortune teller of some kind and, as if to support this assumption, a glowing crystal orb floated in front of her. She was a rather beautiful woman, but she gave off a rather ominous feeling.
"Viola." ZWEI stated.
She nodded at him and took a few steps closer, standing between Kazuya and the werewolf.
"These people..." Viola's voice sounded flat, as if lacking emotion. "They are different. Not the same as you and I. But they are similar to that man at the camp. The one who also appeared in a flash of light.
ZWEI raised an eyebrow at this. "You mean Julius?"
The fortune-teller nodded. "He and them have fallen from the same tree."
The black-haired man sighed and shook his head. He believed her, of course, but he wasn't exactly happy about it. He put his sword away and looked at Kazuya, then at thew rest of the group.
"Alright. You guys come with me. I'll answer whatever questions I can on the way." He turned to leave, but stopped for a moment.
"Oh, right. And to answer your question..." He indicated Kazuya with a glance. "You're in Europe. Klausenburg. 1607."
Suna's eyes widened and Carl whistled. "Damn. Didn't expect to get sent back in time too..."
ZWEI shrugged and continued moving. "Well, you did. Now come on."
Viola shook her head and began going off on her own. "ZWEI, there is something else I need to do here."
"You need help?"
"I will be fine."
"Want me to wait for you?"
"No. I will catch up later. It is important that you get these people to Siegfried as soon as possible."
"Right, right."
And with that, the beautiful seer walked away, disappearing into the crowds of the city.

-Yu-
Well at least it had been a pretty soft landing...
"Sorry."
Well, he certainly hadn't meant to do that. Yu could feel his face turning red as well, as he quickly stood up, straightening himself out in the process. Meanwhile, an odd sort of exchange went on before him... and Kazuya made an ass of himself yet again.
Knowing Jade, and a bit of their group, someone was going to make a tally at this point.
However, it was the mention of another newcomer to this world that caught their attention; yes, Viola was cryptic, but this "Julius" came from another world as well, from what he and Jade could gather... But more importantly to Yu, Europe? Klausenburg? 1607? They weren't just in any past, they were in Earth's past. He wasn't sure if it was his earth, but still...
-Jade-
"Well that would be helpful if I knew anything about this world. I've never heard of a place called Europe before." Jade was quite certain this wasn't his world, and was quite curious as to Carl and Suna's reaction to the date... did that mean something important to them?
"... suppose Klausenburg sounds a little similar to Keterburg, though. Perhaps there are some basic parallels between the worlds. Like how we're all able to understand each other, for instance." That was another aspect he had been curious about, but he had disregarded it for more important issues.
"Well then, let's go meet this Siegfried and Julius then, shall we?"

Kazuya sneered at the barbarian. He supposed that such idiocy was common in this time period. Foolishness such as chivalry and honor were hailed as virtuous philosophies in this day and age. It was pathetic. Almost pitiable.
"I don't need to know who you are to tell that you're scum."
X had no choice but to intervene at this point. "Kazuya, control yourself! We can't afford to lose any potential allies. I'm not saying this because it's the right thing to do. I'm telling you this because it's practical."
....The machine had a point. Strange, though, that this machine had the same capacity for the weakness called "morality" that humans did. Kazuya decided not to underestimate him in the future.
"Fine. Lead on then...'Zwei'."
Zero listened in from the background. As much as he would have liked to intervene, he knew X was the better diplomat. Zero's talents were better suited to more severe circumstances.
The human's arrogance aside, Zero needed to check something. He muttered to himself quietly.
"Alia, you catching this?"
"Loud and clear. Keep an eye on him. He might prove to be a liability."
"Got it."

Klausenburg
Behind Patroklos, two cloaked figures turned their heads to and fro, taking in the sight of the white stone buildings and cobblestone roads that were rather impressive looking. One seemed to be of an average build, features concealed by the hood of his cloak, while the other was somewhat slimmer and of a more slight build. While they looked rather conspicuous, the relative amount of people moving about the city (some in rather odd looking clothing choices themselves) caused them to gather no more than a single glance or two from passerby's.
Quietly, occasionally discussing something between each other in small whispers, they continued moving forward, before a nearby enthusiastic vendor gathered their attention, and they stopped to peruse the items.

Raiga could only shake her head at Kazuya's stellar first impression. "Nevermind Kazi-kun," she said to ZWEI. "He speaks for himself, not for everyone. I'm Raiga, that's Yu, Jade, Carl, Suna, X, and ...Zero!" Raiga tried to be as friendly as possible in order to counterbalance Kazuya's bullheadedness. She couldn't help but notice that ZWEI's attire looked a little like what some people in her world might wear. It was interesting to her in a way.
"Hey, is this your home, or are you from another time, too? To be honest, you look like you would fit right in where I'm from."

ZWEI's grey eyes widened at Kazuya's comment. He forced himself to keep walking and ignore it. It would be a horrible idea to lunge into a fight when there were more important things to do. But if this man proved to cause too much trouble, then the werewolf would have no qualms with smashing his head in.
He heard Raiga talk and looked back at her as she introduced everyone. Heh, at least some of them had manners. Maybe it was just Kazuya who had an attitude problem.
"Name's ZWEI." He responded. "This is my home so, no, I'm not from another time or world or anything." He then looked at his own clothing, catching the swordswoman's point. "Although I guess I shouldn't be surprised you'd think that. When you really think about it, yeah, I don't exactly look like I fit, do I? Anyways, we gotta get going. The sooner we reach the camp, the better. It's just outside the city."
Carl raised an eyebrow. "ZWEI? That's an...odd name."
The werewolf glanced at him.
The undead man shook his head. "Not poking fun at it. Just commenting."
Suna looked at her friend quizzically. "How is ZWEI a weird name when compared to everyone else? Kazuya? Yu? Jade? Raiga? Kirby? Do I really need to go on?"
"Fair enough."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Patroklos continued on his way, his eyes aimed down towards the ground as his mind wrapped itself around the doubt that began to cloud his heart. That swordsman was just some random meddler that got in his way. Sure, that wolf-spirit thing was something he'd never seen before, but he was still a random stranger. So why were his words stuck in Patroklos's head? Why could he not just shrug them off?
Was it because, deep down, he too had had the same doubts for quite some time?
Viola walked up behind the two cloaked people currently observing the merchant's wares. She knew who they were. She saw them within her crystal ball quite some time ago. As well as the group that just recently arrived. Before this whole ordeal happened though, her orb did not tell her anything of this. It was only until after the first otherworldly visitor arrived that her orb started showing her what was to come again.
"You two" She said calmly. "You are looking for the murderer. The one whose hands are stained with the blood of the falsely accused."
It did not sound like she was asking them if she was correct. It sounded like she was stating she already knew what they were doing. To avoid any confusion as to her purpose, the beautiful fortune teller said one more thing.
"You should hurry, before he escapes your grasp."

Although their expressions were hidden under the veil of their cloaks, it was obvious both were surprised by the Viola's sudden approach. The taller one of the two's eyes, golden-brown, widened from beneath the shadows of his cloak, and to the side of him, the smaller cloaked figure seemed to tense, as if ready to possibly engage the mysteriously dressed fortune teller.
At the rest of her words, they seemed to relax a bit, as if realizing she wasn't an enemy, however, by their stances, it was clear that they were both cautious of her. The taller one of them opened his mouth as if question her, but was interrupted by his partner.
"...Our thanks." By the sound of her voice, it was clear that she was a female, her tone gentle and soft, but with an underlying strength beneath her words. As if realizing they had little time to spare, she nodded with her taller partner, and they both quickly walked away, brown cloaks melding back into the crowd quietly.

-Yu-
"My name is strange...? Huh." Yu quietly thought to himself. Suna was an odd name, and while Carl was a pretty American name, Makkura really wasn't. There were odd mismatches everywhere like that, actually. regardless, it would be better to be polite, than to simply leave Kazuya representing them for the most part.
"My name is Yu Narukami, er... ZWEI." That was an odd name as well, "... isn't zwei German for two?" It was an errant thought to himself, that he simply voiced out loud. He didn't know if it meant anything in particular, but it was an odd name regardless of the circumstances or the place.
"Hahaha, where are my manners? I am Colonel Jade Curtiss. Pleased to make your acquaintance, ZWEI." Jade shook his head, walking along, "Honestly, this isn't the first time our *ahem* friend here has done this, so please, pay him no mind."
"Uh, Jade..." Yu felt the incredible need to state the obvious suddenly. Like a higher calling, almost.
"Hmm?"
"Kazuya is still right there." Also obvious.
"Yes, what about it?" Yu felt himself pause for a moment, before shaking his head and continuing. Jade either had a death wish, or he really wasn't scared of Kazuya in the slightest.

"You have a knack for stating the obvious, boy," said Kazuya to Yu. "If you're worried about Jade incurring my wrath, don't be. He's the equivalent of a courtroom jester in this time period. Nothing he says has any meaning."
Out of all the people in this group, Kazuya respected Jade the least. He was, put simply, too insignificant to care about. While others like Yu and Zero at least provided some dumb muscle, Jade made no contribution to his efforts whatsoever. He might as well not even existed.
Meanwhile, X and Zero talked amongst themselves as they moved. There was one chief concern that came to X's mind.
"If by chance we happen to be in the past for our version of earth, what will happen to our own time? What if we reshape our own future by accident?"
"I doubt that's the case," Zero replied. His voice carried confidence, as if he was sure in his claim. "If we changed the past by coming here, we'd probably already be experiencing the effects. Nothing's happened so far, so we should be good for now."
X started to wonder if it was a good idea to let the Doctor stay behind. If anyone knew the consequences of their presence here, it was him.

Raiga could only chuckle as Kazuya addressed Yu. "Isn't pointing out Yu-kun's knack for stating the obvious just as much stating the obvious? It sounds to me like the pot is calling the kettle 'black'." Raiga continued to follow ZWEI as he lead them towards the camp. She could only sigh as Kazuya continued to bark like a small dog trying to assert its dominance. Part of her was hoping that Kazuya would somehow, miraculously regress and redo the part of his life where he forgot to grow up and above throwing words around like an educated bully.

Kazuya would have responded, but someone else beat him to the vocal punch.
"That's enough, all of you."
X felt he had to interfere. If they kept this up, they might have damaged the group's claim to legitimacy. The group needed to project a positive image. They couldn't afford to look like a bunch of bickering novices.
"Raiga, comments like that aren't helping. You'll just encourage him. Let's all try to act professional from here on out, alright?"
