Name: Ciel
Aliases: Elesia, Bow, Mediator, Curry
Age: Appears around 18-20 years old
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Source: Tsukihime
Appearance:
Normal Ciel
Seventh Scripture Ciel
Personality: It's safe to say that Ciel has, or perhaps had, two different personalities that she used for two different situations. The first is a kind, gentle and altogether friendly nature that she generally uses whenever she's not "working". The second is a serious, impersonal and merciless nature belonging to that of the 7th member of the Burial Order, codenamed "Bow". While it is debatable which one is her true side and which one is her fake, the truth is that they are both her "true" natures in a way. Her gentle side is representative of her life before Roa entered her life, friendly, personable and generally understanding to the plights of others. Her other side is representative of the cold, calculative nature of the Church, and of her life upon losing everything that was once dear to her. One thing is certain however, despite the contrasting personalities Ciel holds. When it comes to "business", Ciel seldom hesitates to carry out her orders, whatever they may be. The only exception she makes is of those she truly cares for, of which the number can be counted with one hand only. She can be said to be a hypocrite in this way, although she knows the pain of being an unholy abomination herself, she does not hesitate to destroy those who against the will of the Church, especially vampires. In that way, that is her own brand of sympathy. She understands, but she kills anyway. She is a sinner, but punishes sin. That is the paradoxical nature of Ciel, 7th member of the Burial Order. With the death of Tohno Shiki in her own world however, her more friendly nature has been suppressed by a wave of grief. Perhaps as a coping mechanism, the mediator has shut off nearly all her emotion in a mask of cold indifference. Despite the fact that she has already known loss before, and knows that bottling it all in isn't healthy for her, there is seldom she can do otherwise. With her first love gone, Ciel, the high school senior of Misaki City, faded. Losing her sense of purpose with Tohno Shiki and Arcueid Brunestud dead, the cold agent of the Church also died with them. What's left, is a mere empty shell with little regard for her life, or the life of her enemies.

Enhanced Durability
The number seven isn't given to just any number of the Burial Agency. It is given to the agent who literally has the authority to do whatever she wants, with little need for authorization. The reason for this was the existence of Michael Roa Valdamjong, a Dead Apostle. Roa, who had the ability to reincarnate in others, once chose her as a host. For various other reasons, Ciel ended up living without the presence of Roa inside of her. However, since Roa was still alive, this caused a contradiction in the world, and Ciel was granted with complete immortality while Roa was still alive. Thankfully, Roa was eventually killed, which brought an end to her regeneration cycle, however, she is still rather tough to kill. She has the ability to survive wounds and injuries that would kill a normal human several times over, and because of her body's natural regeneration properties that were brought out by Roa's presence, she heals at a much faster rate than that of most people.
Black Keys
The signature weapon of agents of the Church, the Black Keys are Ciel's most useful weapon. A Black Key is a long, slender blade similar to that of a typical sword, although Ciel wields them more like throwing daggers. The blades are created through sorcery, or Projection to be precise, and specialize in repelling demons. As a weapon of the Church, they excel in handling spiritual phenomena such as ghosts and undead due to their holy properties. When wielded against an unholy foe, the Black Keys are capable of dealing a large amount of damage, although their purpose isn't delegated to simply that. Ciel wields them with such precision and skill that her throws are close to the speed of a bullet launch, with enough power in them to crack through solid rock and concrete. In addition to this, the amount that Ciel can materialize is almost infinite, as each sword hilt is created through a page of the bible.
Cremation Sacrament
A holy sacrament with ties to Magecraft, which is considered heretical to members of the Church. However, because of her knowledge of Magecraft through Roa, Ciel can use this ability without any problems. By creating a spell sigil on an individual Black Key, Ciel can cause them to burn her enemies upon piercing their target. While not powerful enough to cause instantaneous combustion, the flames that are produced by the sacrament grow at a moderately fast rate, and continue to do so while the Black Key is embedded in the enemy. The Cremation Sacrament requires relatively little prana to generate, so Ciel likes to use it often.
Interment Sacrament
Another holy sacrament with ties of Magecraft, which uses greater mana than the Cremation Sacrament. By creating a similar spell sigil on a Black Key, Ciel can cause them to inflict petrifaction to the target at the area of impact. The rate of petrifaction is rather slow, but spreads out from the area impacted until it engulfs the entire body. As it takes a relatively large time for a target to fully petrify (5-8 posts depending on body mass), this ability is more useful for interrogation than anything else. It also requires larger mana than the Cremation Sacrament, so it is not entirely suited for battle.
Shadow Bind
An interesting property of the Black Keys is that their ability to bind the enemy's shadow upon impact. If a Black Key hits the shadow of a target, it will hold the shadow in place, rendering the victim unable to move their body while the weapon is in place. However, it is a rather weak magical bind, mainly used to deal with normal humans and weak demons. Any enemy with a Strength or Magic stat of at least C- will be able to break free of its grip, although obviously at higher ranks, it would be easier to break.
Magecraft
Because of her role as the former host of Roa, most of his knowledge was left on her when Roa left her body. As Roa was a Magus, this included his extensive knowledge of Magecraft as well. While it is technically heretical for a member of the Church to use such things, and Ciel does not like using the knowledge that Roa left with her, her knowledge of magic is rather useful in a variety of circumstances. In addition to this, Ciel naturally has extraordinary magic potential, so her magic circuits trump those of a normal magus by far. However, she merely has the knowledge of Roa, and thus, cannot be said to be a magus, despite her talent in the field.
Healing Magecraft
While Ciel isn't an experienced or perfect healer by any means, she at least has the talent to tend to most wounds with healing magic. However, what she does is only the mending of the flesh, at a superficial level. Internal wounds, curses and severe injuries are probably out of her reach. Regardless, she knows enough to keep herself, as well as others, alive if injured by a flesh wound.
Reinforcement
Although Ciel's body is in peak condition, able to leap from lamp post to lamp post, something that helps her is her ability to perform Reinforcement. Reinforcement, the act of strengthening and enhancing an object's existence through Prana, is often used by Ciel to strengthen her body enough to battle with supernatural creatures. With it, she can reinforce her legs to leap further and faster, or reinforce her arms in order to use the Seventh Holy Scripture. However, even if Ciel has an inordinate amount of mana in her magic circuits, not even she can use Reinforcement forever, something that she's aware of.
Necromancy
Something inherited by Roa, which she isn't entirely thrilled about using, is the knowledge to manipulate the dead to a limited extent. While it isn't easy for her to do, Ciel is capable of manipulating up to seven dead bodies at a time. However, she must contain perfect control in order to do so, and if she's attacked, it's likely that she'll lose control of the corpses. In addition to this, the corpses follow relatively simple instructions only, so any abilities they might have had in their previous life are unusable.
Mystic Eyes of Whisper
Ciel, because of her high magic potential, has a pair of Mystic Eyes that she uses in order to infiltrate places that she needs. Known as the Mystic Eyes of Whisper, they carry the ability of suggestion. Not to be confused with hypnotism, they merely allow Ciel limited manipulation of a person by implanting suggestions in their head. As they are relatively weak, Ciel's eyes do not change color upon use. When used on a person, Ciel can merely suggest to a person that something occurred, not completely control them to believe so. As such, those with relatively high will power, or anyone with at least a Magic ranking of D, should be able to shatter her suggestions easily.
Seventh Holy Scripture
One of the most powerful weapons of the Catholic Church, the Seventh Holy Scripture is known to be one of the most powerful conceptual weapons against the undead in existence. It is essentially the spirit of a unicorn girl known as Nanako, materialized onto a massive bayonet pile bunker specialized against reincarnation and regeneration. The damage taken by the Seventh Holy Scripture cannot be healed or regenerated immediately, and any regeneration abilities are slowed immensely due to the nature of the holy weapon. As a weapon specialized in dealing damage to both the body and soul, it makes the perfect weapon against that of the undead and enemies who can regenerate. Similar to the Black Keys, the massive metal bayonet at the end of the cannon-like weapon is a page of the Bible. Upon discharge of the cannon, the bayonet fires out, capable of punching through solid steel and flesh as if it were tissue paper. The bayonet then scatters into pages of the Bible, and a new bayonet is inserted. While it excels as a weapon against spiritual creatures, the sheer devastation it can cause against any material makes Ciel a serious threat while using it. It does however have some downsides. The weapon itself weighs 60 kilograms, and while Ciel can swing it with little effort due to her physical conditioning and Reinforcement, it does hamper her usually blinding speed. In addition, Ciel is required to use Reinforcement in order to wield it properly, which means, along with the weight, her energy is spent much quicker than it usually is. While it isn't in use, the Seventh Scripture, along with Nanako, are materialized into her holy robes. Because her robes contain a holy spirit inside of them, any undead creature is riled and inherently drawn to Ciel while she wears them.
