Dante's eyes instantly shot open. However, he just lied there on the ground as he looked at everyone standing around him. This was a ridiculously rare situation for him. But, hey, he and Trish did face six super-powered enemies at the same time and gave them a bunch of trouble. Plus, he didn't even use all his tricks. If he had been absolutely serious, such as when facing Mundus, he could have used the Sword of Sparda and given this group a hell of a lot more problems.
Of course, that didn't change the fact that he lost.
...Admitting that, even in his mind, actually hurt a bit.
The demon hunter chuckled and dusted himself off as he got up, picking up Alastor afterwards. "Alright...you guys aren't half bad at fighting. I'll give you that much." He then walked away from the group, heading back to his store. "Now get the hell out of here before I change my mind."
Then he stopped and looked back them, his eyes focusing on Satsuki and the Beowulf gauntlets.
"And yeah, you can take those off now."
Hellboy's body felt lighter after Zelos's magic finished its work. The red demon didn't even really realize how messed up he was until now. His damaged flesh was restored and all the aches and pains from the fight were gone. He smiled at the red-haired man and took out a cigar, lighting it and taking a puff.
"Huh. Healing magic, eh? Y'know, if there was one kind of magic I'd ever learn, it'd be that."
He sighed, releasing the smoke.
"'Course, I don't really know crap about magic."

Piccolo simply shook his head at the devil hunters. He led the group away from the shop, taking them a few miles closer to their targets. Once he was certain that he was out of earshot of anyone, he stopped.
Now, about that lecture...
"That was unnacceptable," Piccolo said, raising his voice. "We were completely disorganized. We should have had the advantage. We had them outnumbered six to two, and yet we still sustained heavy injuries. Zelos, you followed my instructions at least, so what I'm about to say doesn't apply to you. Hellboy, you defied my orders, but you and Ciel are the only ones aside from Zelos who displayed any sort of teamwork during that fight. We also wouldn't have won that fight without you, so you're off the hook."
Piccolo gave a narrow, disapproving glare at Satsuki.
"Satsuki, while the others fought, you cowered behind a car like a scared little rat. You also defied my orders when I told you to hold down Dante. Wake up, kid! No one's going to go easy on you just because you're young! The entire group's depending on you, so get your act together!"
Piccolo's tone was harsh, but fair. That girl needed to learn how to keep her head on straight during a fight. If the lecture alone wasn't enough, Piccolo would likely have to resort to training her personally. He didn't want to waste too much time in finding the defectors, so he hoped that wouldn't be necessary.
Piccolo looked to Oswald next. His gaze was fiery. He made it clear that Oswald was the one worth the most amount of blame.
"Oswald, you acted like a spoiled child! You directly defied my orders out of pure spite! What's worse is that you've been with the Realm Agents longer than most of the others here. I don't care if you have a problem with me, Amuzi, or authority in general! If you can't learn to follow instructions, then you'll be barred from access to Sanctuary! Is that clear!?"
Piccolo sometimes wondered if Oswald wanted nothing to do with Sanctuary at all. He concluded that he did, since he hadn't left of his own accord yet. But if so, why was he so adamant about showing disrespect to him? If you reside in Sanctuary, you work for the Realm Agents. If he wanted to work with them, why was he so uncooperative?
Piccolo had very little respect for Oswald. He was arrogant and difficult to work with. But he was determined to turn him into a team player. That is, if he could at all...

Trish silently pushed herself off the ground, stretching as she stood up. She watched as the group of Realm Agents walked away and sighed before looking towards Devil May Cry and the demon hunter walking towards it. It was certainly an odd way to end everything. Both sides basically walked away from one another. If that was how things were ending, what was the point of fighting them in the first place.
She glared at Dante, annoyance decorating her face. She was going to have a serious discussion with him later.

-Satsuki-
"Um... h-here you go. Sorry about..." As her group walked away, she laid the gauntlets and boots on the floor inside the door to Devil May Cry. As Satsuki ran off to catch up with her group, a curious thing happened. The gauntlets disappeared with a flash of light, much like they had years ago, whenever Dante had pulled out another weapon, or stopped using them.
It was... certainly different. However, a tingle ran through Dante's body, making it clear what happened; the Beowulf gauntlets had gone back to their rightful master.
As the group came to a halt, Piccolo began to lecture all of them. And when it came to her and Oswald, the young vampire couldn't help but flinch a little from Piccolo's harsh words. And it hadn't been her fault that she'd defied his orders... she'd just thrown the sword before she could carry them out. She had tried to grab him after that, but... yeah, it hadn't gone so well.
As Piccolo went off on Oswald, she could see Zelos listening in the back of the group, his own eyes trained on the dark knight too. Like he was analyzing him, or something. Satsuki didn't know what to make of Zelos, yet, honestly. On the surface, he was this shameless flirt, but... the way he fought, there was no way that was all there was to it. But... she couldn't think about that right there.
"I-I'm sorry... I just..." Right, and what could she use as an excuse? No, there wasn't a good one to use to begin with. She wasn't good at fighting, she was scared of it most of the time. Not only that, she knew that if she lost control in this world, Ciel-senpai was probably going to kill her on the spot. So, of course... she was scared. Scared to fight, scared to step out of line... scared to lose control. She didn't have Sion or Ries here to help her out in a pinch.

"Have your lips finished flapping?" Oswald spoke flatly. "Leave Satsuki alone. You haven't worked with her enough to understand her situation as well as I do, and if you can read her mind, then maybe a little sympathy would do you some good. As for me, you may be our leader, but I am not your dog. I'll listen to reason, but don't expect me to answer just because you bark at me."

"If you listened to reason you would have followed my orders the first time. Instead, you charged at Dante tactlessly. As for Satsuki, you're not her guardian. If she has a problem with me, let her speak for herself."
Piccolo was done scolding Oswald for the moment. If things got worse, then Piccolo would take more severe measures as necessary. Right now, though, there were other obstacles to overcome. Ones that they should have passed by now. The namekian focused his attention back on the rest of the group as he moved on to the next subject.
"Moving on. If we're going to work together, we should all have a clear idea of what each of us are capable of. I'll start."
Piccolo clenched his fist. A warped, electronic sound was heard as light peeked out from in between his fingers.
"I'm a master of martial arts and manipulating ki energy. Using ki, I can incinerate things to greater effect than any modern-world tank can. I can also sense most energy, and trace it to its source. This includes the energy inside living beings."
Those were his most basic abilities. Piccolo allowed the energy in his hand to dissipate as he searched for a prop to demonstrate his next ability. He soon enough found an apple on the ground several meters away that he found to be acceptable. Piccolo stretched his stretched his left arm like a rubber band, allowing him to grab the apple with ease.
"My physiology allows me to stretch my limbs several yards if need be. I can also regrow severed limbs if I ever lose them in a fight. Lastly, I'm an experienced tactician when it comes to working with small groups and one on one combat...Alright, now that I've explained what I can do, the rest of you do the same."

Hellboy's aggravation with Oswald was reaching its peak. The man had done little to him personally, but disrespect just for the hell of it was something that annoyed him. If you were angry about something, take it up with the right person or talk about it reasonably. Or just shrug everyone off and don't say a word. All of those options were better than just having a bad attitude and talking crap to everyone, including your allies. The group was supposed to be a team and, while he knew it would take time for them all to get used to one another, the red demon was hoping everyone would at least have the common sense to know being an ass wouldn't help.
Hellboy took another puff of his cigar and looked towards Oswald. "How about some sympathy for the people that need to deal with your constant crap?" He released the smoke from his cigar and turned to Piccolo now.
The green guy had a good idea. If everyone knew each other's skills, then they could better plan and form strategies that prey on each of their strengths. It was probably something they shoulda done back at the Pearl Sanctuary, but this was better late than never. Piccolo had the power to control his own energy, knowledge in martial arts, telepathic communication, energy sensing, stretchy limbs, and regeneration. From what the guy said about it, his healing might have been even better than Hellboy's. The demon had no idea if he could regrow lost limbs and, frankly, he didn't want to find out.
"Alright, another guy that can heal on his own. Good, was afraid I'd be the only one who can do that. As for me, well...I'm pretty damned strong." He walked over to a nearby van, lifting it over his head with his normal hand. "I can take a crapload of punishment, you can ask the church lady about that. Rather not demonstrate that."
Hellboy gently placed the van back onto the street. "I'm also completely immune to fire and this stone hand of mine is completely unbreakable, making it good for hitting people and blocking attacks. Both physical and otherwise. Besides the physical skills, I also got decades of experience with paranormal creatures like vampires, werewolves, ghosts, demons, and all that. I'm also not too shabby at reading ancient arcane languages."
He scratched his head.
"That last bit is a little weird. Something just clicks in my head when it comes to old languages like that."

Ciel was merely listening silently as Piccolo began ranting on their team, rolling her eyes as Oswald again arrogantly defended Satsuki. If the alchemist from Atlas were here, she would defend her in a much more logical and calm fashion. Already however, Oswald was getting on her nerves, and quickly. While she herself wasn't entirely thrilled with the prospect of being placed in a cell with a group of demonic abominations, there was a difference between arrogance and stupidity. If the two people they had just fought were any indication, if none of them worked together in this world, they wouldn't stand a chance. That, and she told herself that it was all strictly business. Just do the mission, and it would be your last, she told herself silently.
She did however agree with Piccolo's ideas of getting to know the abilities of the team. Although reluctant to literally tell demons how she killed demons, they would be much more efficient that way. So far, it seemed that Piccolo specialized in energy abilities and strategy, which made Amuzi's choice, she grudgingly admitted, an ideal person for leading the group. Hellboy was a bit more simple, but useful. He had high strength, and she had gotten a taste of his durability first hand during the previous battle. The hand was also rather interesting, clearly having arcane origins, but she decided not to delve into it. Hearing his abilities, it seemed as if he was similar to her, a demon hunter per se...
"..." As a silence blanketed the group, the church woman sighed lightly, as all eyes seemed to go to her. "...I specialize in battling the undead, and demonic creatures." She began to explain, reaching under her robes and displaying a page of the Bible. Before everyone's eyes, the page began to morph into the handle of one her trusted Black Keys, the blade of which began materializing in thin air. "These swords, the Black Keys, are made to destroy spiritual phenomena and undead, as well as repel demons. They can also bind shadows, incinerate their targets and petrify enemies through Holy Sacraments."
Flicking the sword as if it were a mere dart, the blade gracefully sailed through the air and slammed through the concrete, landing precisely in the middle of Hellboy's shadow. With his strength, it would be easy to just destroy the bind through pure strength, although it'd feel as if something were holding him in place.
"...I also have knowledge of Magecraft, and can do limited healing, conceptual enchancement and necromancy." She muttered the last as if she weren't entirely too fond of it, before shaking her head and continuing the explanation. She paused, as if about to say something, but then continued without a hitch afterwards after deciding to leave out her Mystic Eyes of Whisper. It was never wise to reveal one's full arsenal. If worse came to worse with this group, it could come in handy if she needed to manipulate her way out of it, although she doubted it'd work on a few of them. She wasn't naive enough to believe that they would all become close and work together perfectly after revealing each other's abilities. She wouldn't have told them about her Seventh Scripture either, if she hadn't had to use it to defeat Trish.
Sighing, her robes began shining, and she was suddenly garbed in the same tight blue shirt and skirt she had while wielding the giant pile punker. Her tattoos were still glowing with a holy light under the full moon, as the church woman placed a hand on the enormous weapon near her. Except one problem.
"This is the Seventh...Holy...Scrip...ture..." Ciel began muttering, coming to a realization that holy weapons did not have hair. Glancing down, the church woman silently stared at the little blonde horse-girl with a large carrot stuffed in her mouth near her, and four dots on her head. She was garbed in a blue dress, with long leggings and gloves in a similar color. Instead of hands, she had hooves, and pointy ears that distinctly showed that she wasn't human. Her bright green eyes, were wide open with a fearful shock, as if she were about to be punished.

Damn, this woman was definitely from the church. Hellboy figured it out already before, but just seeing the Black Key appear from a page of the Bible and hearing Ciel talk about Holy Sacraments added a whole new level to it. Thankfully she didn't seem to be a religious zealot since she was able to stand around him without going into a murderous rage and calling him an abomination of a heathen.
Then she threw a Black Key at his shadow.
"...So, just wanna say, I feel like I just got three times fatter or something."
He took a hard step to the side, breaking free of the blade's binds. Yeesh, that ability would completely screw over lesser demons. All they'd be able to do is just stand there and wait for the church woman to kill them. Probably not a pleasant feeling. Then Ciel's clothing changed back into the blue shirt and skirt from before except, this time, there was no big gun-bayonet thing. Just same young girl with blonde hair, hooves and...a carrot?
Hellboy pointed at the odd creature with a stone finger.
"Y'know, she kinda reminds me of my cats. Except more human. And horse." He then looked at Ciel. "Okay, what the hell am I looking at here?"

Oswald could only seem to offer the same dumbfounded look as everyone else, as he was quite frankly at a loss for words. It wasn't so much the weirdness in itself, he had gone back and forth between the realm of the dead. What really struck him was that fact that not only did Ciel seem surprised as well, but so was the horse-girl. Given that even Ciel as the wielder was shocked, any amount of normalcy Oswald was trying to find was jarringly absent.
"...I'm given the impression that that wasn't supposed to happen."

-Zelos-
... What? Zelos looked the odd... horse girl over, his eyes hovering on her face mostly.
"... I am feeling so many things right now, the main one being confusion. The others... I'd rather not talk about."
"... Anything with a female figure is good enough for you, isn't it?" Satsuki spoke flatly, and it was one of the few times any of them would have heard her speak without some sort of stutter in her voice.
"... You know, that's the second time someone has said that to me." The young vampire couldn't help but facepalm; was this guy for real sometimes? Some of this... it had to be an act. Shaking her head, Satsuki kneeled down to eye level with the odd horse girl, and smiled at her.
"So, hello there. What's your name?" Given that Satsuki was friends with someone who was damn close to being a vampire, a familiar, and a mute, child-like succubus that turned into a cat... this hardly registered as a blip on her personal weirdness meter.

"..." Everyone's questions seemed to pepper Ciel left and right, who seriously had no idea how to begin to explain everything. And meanwhile, the blonde little-horse girl kept on quivering while munching on the large carrot in her mouth voraciously. The end result is that no one knew whether she was incredibly scared or incredibly hungry. Maybe it was just both.
"So, hello there. What's your name?"
Poor little Nanako hadn't exactly had the best of lives, even before becoming one of the most powerful conceptual holy weapons in existence. She had lived in a small village with her mother, but had voluntarily offered to combine her soul with the soul of a dead unicorn, trapped in it's horn, in order to create the Seventh Holy Scripture. She had merely thought that it would be the best thing to do in her circumstances, but her mother died of grief soon afterwards, and for the next few centuries, the unicorn spirit had maintained control over her own distressed soul, at least until Ciel had obtained control of the Seventh Holy Scripture. So in a weird way, she was both the Seventh Holy Scripture, her master's weapon, and Nanako, her master's familiar. However, her master had always treated the rather sensitive unicorn girl rather harshly (like not giving her carrots on some days), especially after that Tohno boy had died, so it wasn't entirely unnatural for her to jump in the arms of anyone who showed her even a little bit of kindness. In this case-
"M-Master!" The unicorn/horse/girl cried, leaping over to Satsuki and engulfing her in a crushing hug as if she never wanted to let go. "Please, be my new master! Anyone but the cruel, cruel person behind me!"
"..." Ciel didn't exactly know what to say to that, but decided that it was in rather poor form to try and switch masters while the old master was standing two feet away from them. Narrowing her eyes, the church woman began her march of doom, the poor horse girl swallowing in fear as she felt her presence behind her. Crying in distress as Ciel pried her off Satsuki like peeling paper glued to a wall, the church woman held the sniffling spirit in front of her with both hands to display to everyone.
"...This is Nanako." The rather grumpy church agent muttered, ignoring the growing sniffles of distress that came from her familiar. "She's fairly unreliable, but it'll be fine if you give her carrots. Who's next?"

Hellboy raised an eyebrow at the display. Apparently this Nanako girl...well, actually she obviously wasn't human. She was still female though, so the word still fit. After all, people still called him a man and he was a full-fledged demon.
Then he did the most awkward of waves with his stone hand towards the horse girl, then looked at Ciel.
"Yeah, I don't think any of us exactly carry carrots with us for stuff like this..."
The paranormal investigator in Hellboy was fascinated by Nanako. She was definitely a mystical creature of some kind. But the girl looked scared enough without having questions about her origins thrown at her.

-Zelos-
"Well I'm glad you asked, then." Zelos spun his hand, making a bow and flourish, in a way so overly dramatic, and yet completely natural, that it was hard to tell if he was putting on a show or being serious.
"Right then, I think you've seen most of my tricks, but lets just spell it out. I'm a trained swordsman and mage since I was a child, and I specialize in single targets the majority of the time. My magic tends to, how to I put it.... its focused, instead of explosive. Ah, but you know all this already, same with the healing crap. But what about these, you might wonder?"
Zelos grinned, as a pair of golden wings emerged from Zelos' back. They were made of light, and yet they seemed to easily keep him hovering above the ground with little effort on the Chosen's part. Smirking, Zelos tapped the red crystal on what looked like his collarbone. Around it was a beautiful golden crest, which seemed to keep the circular gem in place.
"This little thing here is a Cruxis Crystal. Long story short, they grant their users angelic abilities. I have some much... more destructive magic I could show you, but uh, I think using it here would cause mass destruction. That's pretty much it for battle abilities." Zelos nodded to Satsuki as he continued to defy physics by hovering in a reclining position, snapping a finger, and pointing at Satsuki.
-Satsuki-
The vampire couldn't help but feel for Nanako, as Ciel dragged her away. Oddly enough, she didn't believe that Ciel was as bad as she claimed, but she was certainly cold enough to her. And then Zelos pointed to Satsuki.
"... I... um, I don't know how to explain anything like this." Satsuki spoke quietly, "All I know is that I'm really strong, and way faster then normal people. And I drink blood. When I n-need to." There was something else though. Something important that she was forgetting. Something Sion had told her before. She'd seen her do something impossible, at least in Satsuki's eyes.
"Well, there was something else. I... um... Sion said I had the ability to 'deplete mana'. Said it was something called a "Reality Marble." It was a term that likely, no one but Ciel would understand; Satsuki didn't have even a shred of understanding of the world she'd been thrust into when she became a vampire, and it was readily apparent.
"When I... use that ability, Sion said I lose consciousness for as long as it lasts." Satsuki took a look at Ciel, and sighed. Sion hadn't actually explained it to her that time... maybe Ciel would actually tell her.
"Ciel-senpai, do you know what a Reality Marble is and why I have one? Sion just seemed... really, really surprised when she found it out."
