[[ There was no place to put an unapproved bio, so approved bios is where I had to put this. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns about this. ]]
Name: Sojourner
Age: ??
Race: ??
Class: ??
Appearance:
Sojourner’s body shape is very similar to that of an adult human woman’s. However, there are a few key differences that show her inhuman nature. Her waist is rather small, too small for a human to have without having to move a few organs. She has only three fingers on each hand and her legs end in sharp points, meaning she lacks feet. Two large pink-tipped horns protrude from the top of her head and she has caramel brown skin. Her black hair reaches down to the middle of her legs, which would be normal if it were not for the two thick strands of red hair that curved forward from behind her ears, looking similar to an insect’s antennas. Her eyes have golden pupils and she has a small beauty mole on her left cheek. Gray ridged armor plating covers her arms, legs, breasts, and lower torso area, similar to an exoskeleton. The only types of clothing Sojourner wears are a tattered brown cloak around her neck and a belt made of skulls from various unnatural animals wrapped around her waist.
Physique: Sojourner is well built, clearly showing she’s been in battle before. Her exoskeleton tightly hugs the muscles present in her arms and legs and she has visible abs. This natural armor of hers is strong enough to prevent most blades and bullets from piercing her in a few hits.
Personality: Sojourner keeps to herself when she can and usually talks to others only when they share a similar goal as her or can help her in some way. She has little patience for those that talk a lot, especially for lectures that she thinks have little to do with what she needs. The inhuman woman is also very blunt; she likes to state what she thinks of things without sugarcoating it. Sojourner seems to have a general dislike for children, often choosing to ignore them outright.
Due to being in an unfamiliar world, Sojourner is very distrustful of everyone. She keeps a keen eye on all of those she is suspicious of and very rarely will she genuinely trust someone. Only when their goals align with hers will the woman offer a noticeable semblance of camaraderie. Sojourner can also be classified as slightly manipulative, having very little problem with helping others if she can use that against them later to enlist their aid. She is also not above twisting the words of others nor relegating certain information as unnecessary, telling people only what she believes they need to hear due to either wanting to keep a secret or desiring someone’s actions to benefit her more with less information.
However, Sojourner is not all negative. If she makes a mistake, she will own up to it. If she messes up very badly, she will try to make up for it. She considers those that help her pawns, yet she cares enough about said pawns to try and keep them out of danger and, when necessary, defend them. Once she has no need of them she has no problem with simply cutting ties and moving on.

Abilities:
Phantom Heart - Sojourner’s body is completely different from those in the world. Her heart, instead of pumping blood, generates a type of purple energy dubbed Phantom Essence, which she can expel at will. This can be in the form of normal energy blasts but is most commonly used to create body of energy. These energy limbs possess great strength, enough to shred metal and break apart stone with repeated strikes. They are completely solid, which allows them to be used for defense as well. Due to the fact they are made of Sojourner’s energy she has the ability to alter their size, meaning she can make them flat enough to slip under doors and curve them around corners. She is not limited to arms and legs, however. She can also create ears, eyes, and other parts, which would function similar to her own. For example, if she made a large eye out of energy and slipped it underneath a door, she’d be able to see what that eye sees alongside what her normal eyes see.
There are risks to doing this though. Sojourner feels all the pain her energy limbs take and, if one is sufficiently damaged before she can recall it, she will take actual physical damage to whatever part the energy is mimicking. On top of all that, the same energy used for this is the energy that keeps Sojourner alive. That is why she prefers to use the energy limbs over energy blasts since she can actually recall the energy of the limbs as they are still attached to her. The more energy the inhuman woman uses, the more weakened she will become until she either passes out or, if she continues pushing, her body stops functioning and simply shuts down, ending her life. Six energy limbs can be out at once.
A more passive use of this energy allows Sojourner to hover above the ground, letting her glide across it seamlessly. This is not limited to just solid ground, however. It can also be used to traverse along water, meaning that the inhuman woman can simply move along oceans and rivers at her leisure.
Enhanced Senses - Sojourner has significantly higher senses than that of a human. Her sense of smell is good enough that she can identify people with materials by it alone, as well as track people from a location they were at three days ago, even if said location had a massive influx of other people’s scents mixing in. Her sight is good enough that she can pick out small objects from several hundred feet away and is completely unaffected by heavy visual hindrances such as smoke, fog, darkness, and brightness. Her sense of hearing is strong that she can pick out quiet sounds in sound heavy areas, such as a nail dropping on the sidewalk in the middle of a busy metropolis. Sojourner’s sense of taste is similar to her sense of smell in that she can lock onto people’s and materials’ unique tastes.
Mind Grasp - Using her hands, Sojourner can absorb and expel knowledge. She can absorb knowledge directly from a person’s mind which includes, but is not limited to, languages, physical techniques, and memories. The reverse can also be done, which makes Sojourner a good source for transferring organic information without the unreliability of people hiding or forgetting parts. People with high mental strength can resist her though and, if she pushes against someone who is resisting and breaks through, she risks damaging, or even breaking, their mind. Breaking someone’s mind would likely turn them into a vegetable. Mind Grasp can only be used through contact with the skin on Sojourner’s hands, meaning she has to retract the exoskeleton covering them.
Phantom Cloak - A brown tattered cloak with foreign symbols woven into the fabric. It is made of a type of soft material not found in our world and the symbols are a type of magic from Sojourner’s reality. When she wears it she takes on the appearance of a normal human and her exoskeleton takes on the form of long gray dress.

Story: Sojourner is a woman that is not the least bit human. She may have a humanoid appearance, but her biology is significantly different. She is from a completely different world, one with different elements, physics, cultures, and life. She was dragged from this reality to ours due to Veronica’s subconscious reality-warping abilities. The bloody maiden’s powers went into overdrive during her rampage in Platuna and it was during this time that Sojourner was brought over, frozen in one of the many crimson crystals left over from Veronica’s power. She broke out from this prison after a few years and began to make her way throughout the town, using her senses to track the scent of the crystals, which were similar to their creator’s, with the hope of finding whatever dragged her from her home. Sojourner’s search took longer than expected since she was hounded by the corrupted and unnatural creatures that were drawn to the ruins of Platuna. Eventually she came across the grave of a woman whose scent was close to the one she sought. At a loss of what to do now that her “target” was long deceased, Sojourner wandered the town, returning to the grave every day with the hope that something would be different.
One day at that grave, she encountered a young woman with dark skin and white hair along with her ally, an older man who was clearly mutated in more ways than one.
