You:
As a kid you were raised by your father, who lived day by day by theft. Not because he had to, he just didn't like the work for a living way of life he saw every one else have. He wasn't the best role model but for reasons unknown he left you in a small village at age 15, following in his footsteps you soon learn how theft has its benefits as long as you don't get caught. You start by going to other villages as a pick pocket. It isn't too long before you start to run into trouble. It happens when you attempt to rob a kingdom and your caught in the act. General Kamon if the Suatr Kingdom is ordered by the king there to bring your head back to him. Luckily enough you escape to your village Niawtkram till things cool off. After about 5 years its time for another robbery, thus the beginning of the game.
Kamon:
Hotheaded and a huge ego to match. He got in the army to deal with his aggression issues he's had since he was a kid. After serving for 10 years and fighting in several battles his anger turned from blind aggression to self-proclaimed justice. His form of justice may involve him actually doing his job to just plain terrorizing the opposing side into surrender. The king doesn't seem to care as long as his point gets across. After about 2 more years things got quiet because there was a peace kingdoms. Since there was nothing to take his anger out on he was starting to lose his mind. Luckily you gave him something to do after you stole from his kingdom. He was told
to bring your head to the king, but his ego gets in the way within every encounter and it usually ends with you getting away. He uses a sword blessed with the power of fire. He uses it mostly when hes angry.
Bishop
An ally, or your worst enemy. He is quick tempered but you would never know that untill your on his bad side. He usually comes off as a elegant person with his calm voice. However, once he's mad elegance be damned. His fits of rage usually will involve someone getting hurt or yelled at, even if they had nothing to do with it. He is the rebel leader who wants to over throw the kingdom of Ithica in order to aquire its vast resource of Etherite Orbs, a powerful source of energy mined in his home land.
General Harbeld
General of army on the island of Ithica. It is his job to serve the king as well as quell any uprising that may come his way. When a former friend invites him to a distant location to discuss old times, he finds out that Bishop is after the kingdom it self and has to then do whatever it takes to stop him.
Bertman and Fertmyer Derppernas
Two brothers with a very mysterious backstory. One that will probably not be talked about that often. What they are beyond brothers are common thieves. But unlike the main hero they seem to have trouble
finishing the job which often leads more than not to more comical situations than any real trouble.
Ellian D. Inquistis
This cold cunning person is the prime minister of the very kingdom that Kamon is from. Neutrally evil, he only has his own objectives in mind. He played a role in how you were thought to have robbed the kingdom by saturating the truth. This was done to distract much of the general authority so that he may slowly over step it for his own gains. His true intentions have yet to be revealed. Only on a certain path will you find out what that is.
Chronias(working name)
He is revealed to be the governing presence of your dimension who uses a item known as the Rod of Time. He can modify the present or restore the past but cannot change the future. His intentions are unknown until a certain point in the game. He comes from a other dimension of people known as The Kālá. When a Kālá. attains the status of Grand Mage, they are assigned to be a governing presence of a given dimension. There are several Grand Mages. Usage of a Rod of Time in this dimension is prohibited and said rod usually has no power here unless a certain incantation is done.
Chronius(working name)
He is revealed to be the cousin of Chronius. He has been bitter at his cousin for being chosen over him after it was revealed that he cheated during the process of becoming a Grand Mage. When he attempted to assassinate Chronias, he was sealed in the dimension Chronias ruled and spared at the request of Chronias. He since then has vowed to become a Grand Mage "one way or another".

3. Chiry: Obsessed with her own vanity but one can't help but notice that it may be something else causing her to have such a disposition. Turns out she was raised by a woman who was more obsessed with vanity and immortality. Her mother often verbally abused her and blamed her for own declining health and age while her father was too apathetic to do anything about it. He only cared about his work and was rarely home. She is helping the Chronius because she was told that if he gains control of the time rod he can make her beautiful for all
eternity.
5. Randall: An angry individual, easily pissed off by the most mundane of things. When he is completely riled up, he go into a uncontrollable fit of rage that often causes more damage than makes him feel better. This lack of restraint caused him to slaughter his whole hometown. With this chip on his shoulder that he often regrets, he was easily convinced to help Chronius under the guise that he would be able to send Randall back in time to prevent him from committing that atrocious deed.
1. Bishop: An ex-famous fire breather turned politician. His ability to manipulate got him rather close to the king of Ithica. He then began to use his vocal abilities to convince others that the king should be done with and he should be installed in his place. However one thing keeps this from occurring, General Harbeld. He attempts to usurp the thrown regardless and fails. This set back forces him into exile. During this time his face was severely wounded, forcing him to wear a mask. He then began plotting his revenge thanks to the help of Chronius who told him if he could use this power to manipulate others to join his cause he would be rewarded with the power to easily topple the king and General Harbeld
2. Oskar: A Rapier master, and a notorious playboy. He also happens to be the lord of the *region to be determined* His endless lust for women has gotten him in trouble with the upper hierarchy more than a few times. However his current target, the king of *region to be determined* is to be married to someone he sees as unworthy. He intends to get rid of this man one way or another in order to make himself the new groom. However, a man of his status could not possibly get away with it, and he is too proud to send someone to do it for him. Thus after making a deal with Chronius, he gets amazingly powerful so he can match his strength with "his love for the princess". He feels that only then could he challenge the entire court and win over the princess.
6. Colter: Selfless mage from *region to be determined*. He looks after the 3 local towns in that area and has no issue sacrificing his time or money to protect them. However when a virus appeared and started infecting one town to the brink of total extinction, Colter was powerless to stop it. That day he was willing to do anything to protect the other towns from the impending doom that is this virus. Chronius used this moment of uncertainty to convince Colter to join him. Chronius then put a seal around the two other villages preventing the virus from spreading. After the remnants of the virus appeared to be gone for good Chronius removed it. Colter thanked him but then became aware of his actions, he was now forced to serve Chronius and thus eliminate anyone who Chronius deems a threat. While Colter want's to object, Chronius uses the other two towns as leverage against him.
8. Acca: A child hood friend of the protagonist. Revealed to be simply possessed. At least this is what's perceived to be the case. Her motives remain a mystery and she has no desire in the main protagonist what so ever. Chronius' involvement with her remains to be a mystery, but she contains the strongest abilities of Chronius and will not hesitate to use them.
